This is certainly NOT the place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing quiet holiday or if you have kids! Although we expected some noise as the bar in underneath and its quiet a busy weekend WE DID NOT EXPECT THE LEVEL OF NOISE UNTIL 3:30am! AND DID NOT EXPECT TO BE WOKE UP AT 8:30am BY A ladie power washing the window's of our room! Made a complaint to the ladie on reception about the noise to which she replied " she wasn't there she was babysitting for John" made a complaint about washing the windows at 8:30am and her reply was " everybody starts work at 8 am. I also showed her video footage just to leave her hear the level of noise she was not one bit interested! Never will return here again!

Very beautiful hotel in an old style. Very well placed in the centre and 2 steps from the beach.

The food was lovely! Cooked perfectly and delivered to the table in extremely timely manner! There was no burger on thr morning/afternoon menu, but the chef was happy to make it for me. I would highlt recommend!

18 of us went to the Bay View Hotel for a hen party! We had booked a meal there and we were greeted as we arrived! Our Waiter for the night was Michael, he was very friendly and efficient, he made sure we were looked after to the highest standard. While being very professional he also had a great sense of humor! The meal was fantastic! They even gave us 4 bottles of wine free!. We then went to the lounge where the music was playing, a band called acoustic ninjas were playing! They were fantastic! We danced all night and the even played a few requests for us. We will definitely be back. Very friendly bar staff also! Mary should be very proud of her fantastic staff and hotel. Xxx.

Excellent dinner menu and daily specials. The food was outstanding and the service even better. If you're in Kilkee make sure to stop by and grab a bite!

A nice hotel for adults not at all suitable to families with children family rooms with white carpet and absolutely no facilities for them not even a playroom or activity area a joke. No children in the bar after 10 even family rooms situated directly over the bar and music going till after 12.

Our meal was delicious but most importantly a lot on the menu is gluten free. It was great to have such a choice.

Good food, good value! Visited Hickies Bar & Restaurant for lunch for a repeat visit. The food is very good, served piping hot and is competitively priced. The menu offers both specials and al a cart options. Service is generally good Throughout the summer season this restaurant offers fine dining in the evenings, specializing in fresh seafood.

This hotel is amazing. Everything is well done… friendly receptionist, exceptional rooms, excellent food and stunning location. This hotel is deserving of even more than 5 stars :-)

My Mom lives in Limerick, and I live in Florida. We stay at the Bay View
Everytime I am home to visit. We have many fond memories of our many stays there. Accommodations are warm and cozy, and the traditional "Irish fry" is a great meal, whether you consider it your breakfast or lunch. The setting, staff and owner are unmatched!

Rooms are like new. Comfy beds, lovely views, very accommodating staff, great food and reasonably priced. Best place to stay in Kilkee.

Food was amazing, staff so warm welcoming room was fab with a lovely view. The only down fall was the mattresses could do with a change cant beat a memory foam one. I understand they can be expensive but a good bed woth a nice mattress topper would be fab.

Clean room, well kitted out, keenly priced. Stall friendly and attentive. Can't find fault.

Great accommodation at a great price!

If I could give more than five stars, I would. We were spending two weeks traveling the country visiting family with our ten month old and planned a stay at the Bay view bnb in the middle. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night and honestly would have stayed longer if we had had enough time. The room was perfect for a little one to run around. It was quiet, warm, spacious and just over all perfect. Mary and her team were so warm and welcoming. Anything you needed, they helped you. The restaurant and pub had delicious food for a great price. One of the best meals that we'd had in Ireland. We will be back here every time we come home to Ireland. My husbands family has been coming here for generations and we plan to continue the tradition.

Not recommended at all. This B&B is mediocre in quality and totally overpriced. The lady owning it was very rude and not understanding at all when I fell ill due to food poisoning and I had to remain in my room for longer than expected. She charged me a whole extra day because she said that she allegedly could not get a new costumer for the room that evening. It was only 5pm and everybody knows most of the people start looking for B&B to spend the night right at that time. She wouldn't even give a discount, when my only fault was that I had been sick all night and day. I'm sorry but it was dreadful. Please, don't go.

Very poor experience with the lady who owns it. She has absolutely no manners and rips you off. Accommodation is only standard and the price is over the top. Book in there with my partner and the room we booked want the room we requested. She said she gave my room away because they were married and had a child! So the room we got (for a romantic weekend and break away) was a basic room with 2 single beds with a huge wardrobe between the beds! I couldn't even see her. When I said it to the owner she gave me a blank stare and told me to be gratefully for a roof over my head. Never again. Breakfast was nice but the service was unbelievably bad. Asked for toast 3 times. By the time I got the toast I'd my breakfast finished. Its a joke shop. Stay clear.

Went in with wife and children and evening meal, food beautiful, clean and fresh, only critic is we were seated in what seemed to be reception area, and cramped, we did have a 6 month old baby in buggy. Staff very polite.

Nice Bar and restaurant. Usually very busy. Friendly staff and good food. Great views from the restaurant.

It was up to now the best place on ouer Trip.
Nice cleane large rooms. Food was very Good. Eaven the Breakfast.
If we come back to this place, we ask here for reservation.

Remember a hotel years 60 in degradation… friendly staff and always helpful but the facility really does not live up to it. A shame.

We have eaten many times as a family at the Bay View and have never been disappointed with the quality of both the service and the food. Friendly staff and good quality locally sourced food always a pleasure to eat there.

We had a very nice room in this historical victorian building (build 1880). I can recommend this place.
