Friendly welcome, nice large room and lots of local knowledge shared. Comfy bed but a few challenges — forgot GF option for breakfast so I used own bread. Location us a couple if miles from Doonbeg, an unlit road — nit a problem if you ate fit and want to walk — but remember lights and bright gear.
Clean and tidy but expensive for what your getting. Really in the middle of no where. Host was pleasant. However NO HOT SHOWERS … and then suggested it was somehow our fault as we did not leave the shower run long enough so hot water could reach … HUH? … when we complained. No attempt to refund even 20 euros as away of an apology. And yet charged 230 for two rooms neither of which had water for a shower … wouldn't recommend the place keep travelling find somewhere more up to date cheaper and has hot water!

Stayed here for 2 nights while working. Cathy the owner couldn't have been more welcoming to me when I arrived. She chatted to me and told me all about the history of the area and also made me a amazing breakfast. Would highly recommend this place.
