I was appalled the way I was treated at this hotel. I booked a room for a friends wedding bk in September 2018 at a cost of €105 the wedding took place 31-8-19 so it was booked for almost a year. They sold my room to somebody else for double the price I travelled 40mile to wedding so was left stranded. Hotel were not very helpful I got on to who I booked hotel with and they tried to resolve for me. They rang hotel who had confirmed the actual booking in September 2018 with my provider and told them they didn't and told my provider to book a hotel for me that was 15 mins away as they sold the room and we're now fully booked. Lame excuses saying they got no email when they actually did and had replied to it. They are money grabbers. The provider I used I have used it for years for holidays abroad and for hotel stays in Ireland and have never had a problem. Be very weary booking this hotel. They ruined the experience of our friends wedding for us.

Really nice place to stay. The room was very nice and I was glad of the bottled water and Nescafé machine in the room. My only gripe about the room was the shower head was a little grimey and took away from the rest of the room. The food was lovely and the staff really friendly. It was nice to take a walk through the ground to clear my head I would recommend staying and would stay again.

Beautiful hotel located amongst the trees. Fantastic restaurant standard food, great atmosphere and staff. Beautiful walks around the grounds. A great relaxing location to explore Wicklow and surrounding area. Ample parking with a good outside veranda for the warm evenings. Highly recommended.

Had a great little break away with my mum and sister. Staff are wonderful and if you like cocktails ask the barman as they are fantastic. Don't forget to bring your togs as they have a lovely pool.

Superb time at this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. The view is wonderful from the hotel. Room spacious and clean though ours was unfortunately at the back but for those at the front view would be fab. Great location with loads to do close by. Enjoyed one of the best neals ever in the Woodlands restaurant which also had a wonderful view and beautiful piano playing created a lovely atmosphere. Superb breakfast and enjoyed pool and hot tub. One very small niggle was having to wear a swimming hat which they sold at 3 euros each but apart from that, I would rate this hotel very highly and wouldn't hesitate to return.

First time to glenview with a four night stay with family members. 16th/20th. Beautiful hotel with surroundings and garden. Charming interior. All staff very courteous and friendly conservatory bar and woodlands restaurant food outstanding. Breakfast ample choices. Bedrooms. Very clean and comfortable. Took good use of the health suite during our stay which is always as added bonus. Thank you for making our first stay enjoyable and relaxing.

Glen view can't be beaten. Staff are amazing. Good value for money and beds are so comfy!

Have stayed here a fair few times over the years and the food in the bar is as good as always, and the staff are great although they are run off their feet, it does seem that the owners are letting the place become run down a tad as the rooms need a some TLC and the grounds could do with a tidy up, but they are very busy which says something, the swimming pool and spa is grand as long as you do not look up they really need to sort those ceiling tiles out I am surprised they can get away with that, great location and handy found.

Had a lovely stay in Glenview. The facilities are top notch! The bar staff mainly two young guys we're extremely helpful and gave us a 5* service! Didn't realise the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere if you've no car can be quite hard to get around also the rooms we're quite outdated but still had am amazing sleep.

Visited the Glenview for a family 80th birthday party, the staff made an effort to make this celebration special and run smoothly. They were very accommodating and friendly. We also went to for a Sunday carvery a few days later and really enjoyed that too.

Lovely place. Lovely people. Great food. Comfortable bedrooms. Location so near Dublin is outstanding.

I attended a days workshop at the hotel it was stunning views beautiful outdoor garden's to relax in walk around leasure area swimming pool sauna the lot. Food was fresh and gorgeous, very helpful staff. I did stay overnight sorry, can't wait to do that soon, I was surprised how easy to travel to and quick from dublin city centre.

We stayed there on Valentine's day for two nights with dinner. Our stay was absolutely lovely especially considering the very reasonable price. Room was cosy and warm with a great view. The staff was very friendly. The pool is not the greatest but does the job. There's a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Our stay included unlimited use of the lesuire centre so again, for the price it was very good. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and high quality. Food at the lounge downstairs was not bad either. Overall very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service and friendly staff in all areas. Food and drink well presented and tasted delicious. Bedrooms in particular the bathroom need revamping. However I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

4 Stars for a 4 Star hotel. Beautiful rooms clean and modern. Breathtaking views of the Wicklow mountains. Friendly staff and top food. It's pricey all the same and @ €12:50 for a cocktail I would want it presented to me by a supermodel.

Nice hotel very romantic setting on the bottom of the sugar loaf mountain. Scenic walking trails just outside. The spa is well equipped with steam room, sauna, and hot tub and the outdoor Jacuzzi is a great touch. Breakfast was ok good selection. The fry was not great but would I return for their spa alone.

Had a lovely family weekend here celebrating a joint 70th birthday party. Rooms were lovely and clean. The scenery from our room was nice. Had access to the gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. Well recommended for a lovely weekend away with your better half.

Stayed there last month nothing but positive things to say about the staff at the hotel. The food was lovely in bar and the breakfast was nice too. I would say to anyone who is visiting the area to consider this hotel to stay in. The leisure center was lovely with a gym and pool so on those wet and windy days were you cant get out to explore the leisure center will put in a couple of hours. The rooms were big and bathroom was a decent size too. The only small negative was the check out time in the morning if they could extend it to at least 1 pm would be even better.

We found the glen view hotel to be everything we desired. It is centrally located to the amenities we both enjoy. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food worth returning for.

Spent a night here for a friend's wedding last month. The grounds are excellent, incredibly picturesque with the rolling green hills and sheep roaming the hills above. Front desk staff was very friendly and attentive, there was no hassle checking in or out, they explained the hotel and the grounds thoroughly. The function hall for the wedding was great with a perfect outdoor space to escape to as the night cooled off with easy access to the function hall bar. The residents bar was a great time after the wedding party was over with and breakfast the next morning was good and served late for us folks who stayed up a bit later than we should have. The only things holding back the 5th star were 1) the mattresses on the beds feel like they haven't been replaced in a long, long time; very firm and you could totally feel the springs. 2) the pudding at breakfast was totally dry. Other than those two things, my stay fas excellent and would suggest staying here if you're in the area.

By Irish standards the restaurant is not bad value and the famed "Glen View" is fabulous. The restaurant claims two AA rosettes but I'm not sure why as the menu is not very imaginative.

Went for a romantic diner great value great quality of food lovely presentation and excellent taste and friendly service.

Nice enough hotel. Bit if a musty smell from bathroom but got use to that. A better selection of beer would be nice. That band playing the night I stayed were bad.

I stayed at Glenview hotel only for one night, it was good enough, room was clean and in good condition. The purpose of my stay was just to relax so I used the swimming pool with jacuzzi, even though that part was not the best and hot tub was not working at that time, I enjoyed my stay, hotel staff was helpful and nice, Glenview also have lovely gardens but now I come to the best point, restaurant The Woodlands. That restaurant fixed everything I didn't like before, if I stay in this hotel next time, it might be only because of the restaurant, the food presentation was amazing, staff in restaurant made me to feel like special guest, their attitude was one of the best I've ever saw, had to wait for main and they brought me a sorbet? Meals were for fair price but you get more than you pay for, Thank you for amazing duck. So in the end, hotel is nice and good to stay in, but restaurant is out of this world, they do a good job and I would recommend them to friends, and would definitely stay again.

Glenview Hotel is a very popular venue for weddings and justifiably so. My step daughter was married there and the staff couldn't do enough for her. Also ideal for pup lunches and very popular for sports. You won't be disappointed! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

It was OK lovely place. Food was OK. Not quite wow factor me though.

A real hidden gem, so glad we found it were back for 2nd break this year, food excellent, staff brilliant, couldn't do enough for you, always attentive, dining room service a pleasure, really beautifull setting with lovely views, only hotel with no faults, leisure centre for many happy hours lazing.

I stayed 2 nights at the Glenview Hotel. It was very nice and clean. Only the rules for the swimming pool are really stupid. You have to be 16 years old to swim without adults and you have to be 16 for the Jacuzzi and hottub.

Was at a wedding at the Glenview Hotel last week. Great hotel.
