Visited Reeds Restaurant for an evening meal. The food was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and professional. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Me and my family stayed in the hotel on Christmas eve until Stephen's day and I couldn't fault it we had the best Christmas. The food was amazing and all the staff were so lovely. The pool and gym are also brilliant. I cant wait to go back 😁

Firstly myself and my family all 7 of us have stayed here close to Christmas for years. Its a beautiful hotel especially at Christmas. the staff are so nice and helpful. the food is gorgeous. they are so friendly and can't do enough to help.

Beautiful hotel and location. The staff are so lovely and friendly. Fabulous heated pool and again the pool staff are lovely. We ate in the bar and Reeds restaurant which was delicious. Overall great place to go for a break. We will definitely be back.

Their attention to detail was amazing. Upon arrival both my girls got a letter from Santa and a selection box was waiting for them in the room. Christmas Day dinner both girls also received a gift card from Santa. My self and their grandpa got a lively box of chocolates and a gift card to the hotel. They also put out games for the guest to play either in a bog open room or to take back to their rooms. The fun we had playing family fortunes! Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Thank you for an amazing Christmas!

I stayed in the Ferrycarrig Hotel last week for a wedding. The ceremony was in the hotel and I dont think I have seen a room done up so well. It was stunning and over-looking the lake. The meal was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Really lovely hotel, we attended a wedding Food and staff were really good. We had our 3 children, the kids club is brilliant. Swimming pool was a big hit too. A guy called Eoughan working there went out of his way at dinner and breakfast to chat to us and kids, my boys now think the hotel is his home and their new friend. Thanks a mill we had a really nice family break.

Just had an amazing dinner at this establishment, our waitress Ania was outstanding and timing between courses was impeccable. This girl definitely needs to be promoted. Although very busy she had time to serve which is a rarity. To the chef the food was amazing had crab claws and the burger.

We were here for a wedding. Food was excellent service was fast efficient and friendly. Room was lovely and the view was superb out over the river Slaney. It's a real treat to stay here. Next day Sun was shining lunch out on the deck by the river was excellent. Nowhere better than Ireland on a good day.

Love this hotel fantastic location, beautiful scenery. Very friendly staff with excellent facilities, fantastic leisure suite and a great place to bring the kids. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is one of the best we've ever had, food in the restaurant is excellent also.

Accommodation was fine. Pity we were weren't told when we checked in we were next door to a room that seemed more like a building site. The hammering and work going on in it from early morning was not what you expect in a hotel. We told the lady at reception when we were checking out. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would suggest you check out what if any works are being carried out before you book.

Very nice hotel on the banks of a river. Reeds restraunt is worth having your evening meal in and all the staff were very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel, superb setting on estuary edge, beautiful waterfront age. Staff wonderful, pool and leisure facillites well equipped and supervised. Food selection is all local produce well presented modern menu. Well worth a stay.

The friendly staff in this hotel make your stay really pleasant. I stayed with my young family to celebrate my father's 70th birthday and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. This was not our 1st stay here and it won't be our last. I cannot recommend this hotel and the restaurant highly enough. This hotel is obviously managed really well. I stayed in another hotel in the group and didn't have a very good experience so goes to show it is about the team in the individual hotel.

Always fantastic food whether it's in the bar or restaurant mind you on this occasion the soup was overpowered with pepper which was a first normally it's 'unseasoned' which is fantastic. Lovely views whilst you eat especially in the restaurant.

Excellent location. We went through the front door and were met by the most fantastic smile from Christina at the reception. The views from the room over the river Slaney is fantastic. Staff friendly and can not do enough for you. Very relaxing. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful views in a lovely atmosphere. During my recent visit I had the supreme of grilled chicken with bacon stuffing and croquette. It was absolutely lovely, really scrumptious. Perhaps a little heavy handed on the salt, but very tasty. My friend had the fish pie au gratin and she was knocked out by it too. Always a lovely experience out here…

I had a large group (167) of special needs people and their families stay in the hotel for 4 nights on a family respite break and we got five star treatment. We have being coming to this hotel for the past five years. Each and everyone of the staff are so well trained and friendly. Nothing was a hassle. As an organiser they made everything so easy for me. Great hotel to take a large group to. From all our members and their families a massive THANK YOU.

Been here so many times over the last 10 years and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Restaurant has impeccable service and excellent food but if you're in the mood for a more casual setting then sit it the bar and grab a burger! All food is locally sourced and seasonal. We recently had our wedding here and the day couldn't have gone more perfectly. Food was delicious and our room was filled with goodies, flowers and Prosecco. Wexford town is literally a two minute drive away.

Loved everything about this hotel. We stayed as a big group for the weekend. Staff couldn't have been any nicer or accommodating to all of our needs. Will definitely be back.

Top notch hotel, stayed the night here. Upon late arrival our rooms werent ready, but we had given our mobile numbers and about 20 minutes later (just after getting a bit of lunch in the warm bar) we got a text advising us our rooms were ready. Bags dropped up for us before arrival. Bar was busy due to the event but staff able to handle the demand, lovely food a d warm and cost setting for the bar. Bathrooms always clean. Rooms were fairly standard, shower was clean as was the rest of the room. Dinner was lovely, a bit pricy but got what we paid for. Breakfast was perfect also, great selection. Lovely views to wake up to. Big car park with enough room for all guests.

Nice hotel, service a little perfunctory, though the staff serving breakfast could not have been friendlier. Limited choice for breakfast. Nice rooms and decent leisure facilities made for an enjoyable stay though.

Beautiful hotel with astonishing views. Stayed here recently and from our arrival to departure we had an amazing time. There is music in the bar to keep you entertained. The breakfast buffet was fresh and so tasty with a lovely variety. Their staff are very helpful and the hotels immaculate throughout.

Had a fantastic weekend, hotel lovely and so accommodating for kids xx thank you so much. We had our mums retirement and brother in laws birthday, asked for upgrade on my parents room, we got it, fabulous, bro in law got a few chocolates too… personalized dessert plates for dinner for both, everything was great, our waiter at dinner was so good to the kids. Would definitely visit again.

Had the most delicious Fisherman's Pie there early in November while visiting a family friend, the dessert — a chocolate 'cake'/ slice was also too delicious for words. It wasn't overly rich but had the required 'kick'! Can't remember what it was called. Would look for take away of both next time! (Not sure if hotels do that? )

A super place with courteous and professional staff who go above and beyond. Kids club also brilliant for the kids with lots of different activities to offer. A wonderful place to stay.

I had dinner at the bar last week and the food was amazing! All four of us had lovely meals. Our waitress was nice, though could have been a bit friendlier. The bar was very noisy with children and a big group of people.

Fantastic setting with stunning views, the room was spacious, modern & spotless. Had dinner in the dry dock bar and it was very nice. Breakfast was lovely and the pool was great. Lovely little touch on check out for kids.

Came here for a wedding. The room was big and we'll appointed, albeit a tad dated. Staff were excellent — even bringing a fridge to our room when we purchased some bacon and lending us an umbrella for the day. Nice surroundings, by the water with a great terrace. The gym is big and well equipped — cardio machines plus a power rack and dumbbells. It was unusually warm during our stay so it was a bit warm in the room, but this is probably not an issue most of the time.

Rooms a little dated. Food and staff were very good. Would recommend for a weekend away. Very close to Wexford Town and the heritage park. Great for families. Would be 4 star with more modern rooms.

The view is beautiful. The food was top notch. Got up from the table and couldn't eat a single thing more. The bedroom that I stayed in was modern and warm with great view of the water. Friendly staff and good service. Definitely recommend a stay in this hotel.

Beautiful hotel great facilities views from the apartments were picturesque not a million miles from Wexford but in all friendly and very accommodating staff food was fantastic rooms all with air con and good size only gave 4 stars because of the location as not walking distance from a neibouring town but if your wanting a peaceful get-away 5 stars all day long well done to all at the hotel.

Just want to compliment everyone of the staff of the Ferrycarrig Hotel. We stayed Fri and Sat night 03 and 04 June '2016 in room 402 more of our family also stayed. We were treated with courtesy friendliness and efficiency. The food was fantastic and rooms were spotless comfortable. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Wonderful ambience and views from the restaurant. Loved the burgers and fries, really good value and portion size. The hotel is popular for weddings which can make parking a bit difficult, but there are plenty of spaces on a higher level and around the side of the hotel.

Very very nice place to stay! Stayed for 2 nights wit a lovely view of the ocean. We rang to get a mini fridge for the room and we got it staright away! All staff was also very nice and friendly!

Stayed here for two night break, cannot praise the place enough. Room was beautiful, staff very efficient and friendly, food fabulous. Very family friendly hotel, we can't wait to come back here again…

Stayed here one night in Winter as part of a Christmas Ball. It was late (maybe 2am) by the time we got to our room. By this time the room was absolutely freezing, painfully so. We tried everything with the knobs and heating radiator, but no luck. All we could do was get into bed as quickly as possible and hope morning, and sun came fast. The breakfast was wonderful, but we were still thawing out from the cold night. When we brought it to the attention of the receptionist upon checkout, she said "Its policy to turn the heat off by mid-night" and that "we should have phoned down for the night porter to bring up a plugin heater". Absolute nonsense, I have never heard such rubbish and this a 4 star hotel? The week previous we had stayed in a well known 3 star hotel chain in Dublin, and guess what, they allowed their customers decide if they wanted heat or not by letting you control the thermostat through the night. I have needed to find hotels several times since and would only come here for the restaurant and will never ever book a room again. This is Ireland, not Miami, we need heat in rooms in Winter at least, at a hotel of this level guests should automatically be allowed chose when to heat their room. Poor show.

Dear Sir, We stayed at the Ferrycarrig for new years eve for two nights, we paid 438 Euros for the two nights. To say we were dissapointed would be putting it mildly to say the least. On new years eve itself we could not get any where to sit we had to stand for an hour in the bar before we could even get a seat, we might as well have gone to the local pub for new years eve. The meal itself was not the best, we did say something at the time but nothing was done about it. As for the rooms they were all three star standard. The staff were all freindly and polite but it does not hide the fact that we paid 438 Euros for two nights, and I have to say it we did not get value for money. Regards Dennis Smithies.

Stayed in Feb 2014. Rooms ok, could do with revamp especially bathroom. Had dinner in restaurant. Dinner was fine, service was a bit slow. Similar situation at breakfast, best to avoid breakfast when restaurant is busy as service gets very patchy. Parking is a little far from hotel and you may also need to negotiate some steps.

Stayed here with two kids both under 10 staff very friendly and engaging with kids. They have a kids club which is well run a small playground on the grounds of the hotel a lovely pool clean and well maintained. Most importantly they got the kids approval and asked could they stay there again. Its set in beautiful surroundings worth a vist would love to see bit more development in playgrounds but can't falut staff they couldn't do enough for you.

Dinner lovely. Food cooked and tasted great Ordered coffee waited 15 mins no sign so left. Disappointed.
