Woodleidgh lodge is a superb B&B and would definitely stay here again. The owner Sue is nice made us feel at home and went above and beyond for myself my husband and the girls. We don't drive and Sue brought us places and picked us up and her breakfast was beautiful. We loved the outside garden at woodleidgh and also not forgetting Molly Sue's dog. Thank you Sue for everything would 110%recommend here 🙂

I did not expect it to be very cozy, warm, relaxing. The room was so lovely and I really like the bed and the many pillows. It was soooo clean and we had a very relaxing evening. Thank you so much Sue for the great service even before arrival you made sure to contact us. We really appreciate the extra service you gave to us, letting us have our dinner at your lovely dining room. Taking time to talk to us and we love your dog. Stayed with Sue the most hospitable host we have ever had the pleasure to meet. Sue went above and beyond for us x B&B is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Fabulous location, beautiful gardens and our 5 year old daughter had the best time ever xx would highly recommend this B&B and will definitely be returning x oh and breakfast was fab xx.

I´m a spanish girl and i´m 16 years old. I´ve been studying for three weeks English in the city of Gorey for a program where my host was the B&B with Sue, the owner, and the little Molly. It has been an unforgettable experience, mostly thanks to Sue for her kindness and her wonderful way of life. As for the house, impeccable cleanliness, very comfortable beds, good food. Visited Woodleigh lodge with my partner whilst attending a wedding in Gorey. We received a lovely warm welcome from Sue the owner. And that was just the beginning. Woodleigh Lodge is a beautifully appointed property with beautiful clean rooms and beautiful gardens. Sue has created a wonderful home away from home for visitors and she goes that extra mile to make your stay a fantastic one. Breakfast is freshly cooked and is plentiful and is cooked to perfection. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel at home. Sue also has a beautiful dog called Molly who is so sweet. I like to have a walk when in a new area sometimes this makes you feel uncomfortable but Sue let me borrow miss Molly who came with me for walks and was and is a little princess impeccably behaved. I could go on for days about this wonderful place. But words cannot describe how special it is.

From her warm welcome to elegantly decorated rooms, Sue went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Expect nothing less than a delightful experience whilst staying at Woodleigh lodge.

This was a fabulous find for a B&B. We visited Ireland to see our daughter who is doing an internship at the Seal Rescue Ireland, which is a great place to view rescued seals. Woodleigh Lodge is not only a lovely place to stay, but Sue is the inspirational secret behind the success of a B&B. We also fell in love with her cute staff named Molly. Sue redefines hospitality with her incredible cooked to order breakfast set on a table for fine dinning. Our stay at Woodleigh Lodge leaves us with a wonderful warm memory. Thanks Sue!

Well what can we say except What a lucky find. Sue the proprietor is wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. When we rang she was having a night off but still gave us a room. The rooms are amazing beautiful homely and very clean. Our breakfast was perfect. We would highly recommend this fabulous b&b to anyone. We wish Sue the best for the future, you are a lovely lady and deserve to do well. We will see you again next year maybe x oh and we can’t forget the lovely Dog Molly.

Gorgeous home and Sue is the absolute best! My partner and I had booked a hotel nearby which was closed down when we arrived and Sue took us in when she wasn't even open. This was between Christmas / NY and we were literally dressed for a wedding that afternoon. The place is beautiful and Sue was very welcoming but also respected our privacy. Definitely recommend to all, and thanks again Sue.

Homely, comfy, 5 minute drive to Courtown Golf Club, Sue is so helpful and friendly. Great stay.

This is the best B&B I have ever being in my entire life and I have visited over 40 countries well done to the owner!

I am very happy to spend my short days here. To my surprise, the hostess Sue transformed her life into a poem that is exquisite and elegant. Every detail of the room is beautifully dressed. She was taking care of me like a daughter, friendly and responsible for me, making me feel warm like a home. I like what she did for my breakfast, and I like chatting with her. By the way, I am a Chinese, my English is not perfect, but stay with her, she patiently taught me a lot. Also, she has a cute puppy—Molly！well-behaved, every day to bring us many joy. I wish I could visit here again, Courtown is really really peaceful and beautiful village. It is beautiful beyond my imagination. My proposal to visit here is “Seal Rescue Ireland”. Very near from Sue’s house. If you want to stay in peace and away from disputes, I totally suggest to come here, the beautiful memory will always warm in your heart.

Woodleigh lodge is a fantastic example of how THIS type of B&B should be. Sue is an excellent host and very good at what she does. This quaint little Lodge just a few minutes from Gorey is the perfect place to stay whether you want a peaceful stay or great company, Sue and Woodleigh Lodge can definitely accommodate. Top marks.

We stayed at woodleigh lodge very recently, and found the experience very good, we brought two children and there was lots to see and do, sue the owner made us feel very welcome, and was very good overall with her hospitality, a lovely home, excellent cleanliness in all her rooms too, food lovely, and we really enjoyed staying there, bernie farrell, theresa o shea …

Couldnt fault the place or the host Sue, She is a lovely woman and will do whatever she can to make your stay better and very helpfull. The breakfast was exceptional, really nice. The room was lovely and never slept on so comfortable a bed. All the facilities were top standard. If I was to stay in courtown again my first choice would be there.

Stayed at Woodleigh Lodge last November and was immediately made to feel very welcome by Sue. Would highly recommend to anybody, room was spotless and breakfast was great.
