Nice old fashioned boutique hotel not pretentious. Our stay was so welcoming and comfortable.

Good food and good ambiance helped to make my stay at the Cedar Lodge very enjoyable. Close to JFK park which is worth a visit.

Hotel has lots of character and the staff are most helpful. Beautiful part of Ireland.

Over priced. Musty smell all over the place. Don't stay there unless you really have no choice, like I had. 4 star hotel me hole!

This quaint looking lodge on the main road form New Ross to Wexford is set in a beautiful part of the world with everything that is good about Ireland however the rooms are dated and smell of must, but clean.

My wife and I stopped at the Cedar Lodge for lunch this afternoon on our way from Wexford to Waterford. Tom was a wonderful host and served us the most delicious smoked salmon, salad and homemade brown bread that we have ever enjoyed. To make our trip complete Tom drew us a map to the JFK memorial gardens, a nearby Abbey and the ferry landing in Arthurtown. It was a wonderful afternoon made special by Tom, the owner of Cedar Lodge Hotel. If we return to Ireland in the future we'll certainly stop here again.

Pity it don't have a minus one that's what I would rate it the owner is an absolute ignorant man. We were going in there to eat and my daughter took my four year old grand daughter in ahead of us to use the bathroom and he told my daughter she couldn't use the bathroom he said the toilets were closed. Imagine refusing a four year old child the use of a bathroom. I went in sixty seconds later and asked for a table for five. Oh yes certainly madam he said… may we use your bathroom facilities please I asked. Yes of course you can. Well needless to say we didn't eat there and I told him where to put his bathroom facilities. Yours sincerely very angry nanny to one very rude man.

Just popped in here to ask could my 4year old daughter use the bathroom and to my surprise was met by the owner and refused my child to use the facilities here. Well just disgraceful thats what is… and his manners werent too nice either. There was 5 of us goin in to get food aswell take our custom elsewhere.

Hotel has had some work done on it recently, mostly the hall ways. Stayed in a Superior Room which was very spacious but out dated and had a musty smell in the room. Hotel needs sone TLC.

We spent one night at this gem of a hotel and our experience was first-rate. Our room was immaculate and the bathroom was sparkling. The hotel decor is stylish and elegant. The hotel has an attractive bar with a wood burning stove and this gives a nice warm ambience. The beautiful view of Carrigbyrne Hill and the surrounding landscape is worthy of mention. The staff were exemplary and did everything within their power to make us feel welcome. For breakfast we had the quintessential Irish breakfast which was scrumptious.

Very agreeable experience staying at this well run hotel. Friendly staff, great food, I can recommend the Aberdeen steak and a nice bar serving great Guinness. Excellent breakfast.

The staff were very helpful. The rooms were large and spotless. Dinner was delicious. Great value for money.

The minute we arrived we were to told we were to early. The manager or owner was an igornant old man no staff no TV stations wouldn't recomend cedar lodge. We checked in but left 10 mins later went to a lovely hotel just up the road very friendly staff and food was lovely had all TV stations made very welcome it was called the Horse and Hound.

Food was ok but manager/proprietor was very ignorant from the minute we walked in the door. Not one bit welcoming when we asked for the bar menu. Made you feel like you weren't welcome in his establishment. Only six other people in the restaurant — they could do with the business.

Food was poor and overpriced. Wont be returning anytime soon.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted with pig-ignorant staff. Two of us stayed here and had to move room due to smell of sewage running through the room. Staff was very rude and cheeky when we asked them could we change room. Service was brutal and when we ate in the bar we got two flat cokes poured from a 2 litre bottle and two little plates of chips which cost us €16. Definately would not recommend this place to anyone. Place was empty and not surprised.

Don't bother folks. Poor service and 12 euro for a toasted sandwich. Was left sitting for 15 mins with only 2 people in the bar.

Location was excellent, within walking distance of the city centre without so close, you hear the night life if you upside down. Everything is on one level, so no problems with mobility. Access to tennis courts close by. The rooms are simple, but very well designed and properly. Breakfast menu is very good and should suit all tastes owners are very friendly and informative local attractions provide. Would stay again.
