Thanks to all the staff at Bloomfield for our fairytale wedding. You took care of every detail and we loved every second of our special day. We had a great intimate (Covid! ) wedding. Our guests all said they had an amazing day as well. The food and atmosphere were amazing. We can't recommend it enough as a wedding venue We hope we get to visit again in the near future to enjoy as a guest!

My family and I have been going to the hotel for 10 years and normally have a wonderful time food is lovely. Brilliant gardens and walks but it was one member of staff actually she was bar manager who shouted at us was extremely rude. We spoke to the manager who said sorry for this only for the next day for it to happen again from another member of staff. I would like to say that this was only 2 members of staff and the rest of the staff were wonderful to us and couldnt do enough. Its sad to think that my family and extended family will never go to this hotel again because of this.

Just back from a brilliant weekend staycation. We were a group of 7 adults & 7 children & all of us had a fantastic time. Food is really lovely here. All the staff from the check in desk, bar staff, leisure team staff & spa treatment girls were so nice, friendly & welcoming. Our kids loved the Kids Club & movie nights so would defo recommend parents availing of this as the €15 charge is well worth it. This wasn’t our 1st visit here & definitely not our last as we are all booked in for NYE. Would highly recommend this hotel for families.

Beautiful place to rest up, sleep, eat, swim, hike the paths. Had a very intense work trip and needed a great place to rest up, recharge, and did! Friendly professional staff, good food, beautiful, gorgeous place and reasonable as well! Thank you!

Very dissatisfied with my stay No drinking water in the bedroom No safe No crossonts for breakfast no cheese or ham When I asked for some I was told they were all gone The noise from the staff in the breakfast room was terrible Clattering of dishes was disgraceful I doubt very much I will be staying there again.

Stayed in October with my daughter and really enjoyed it. Staff in dining room and bar were very nice and helpful. Staff in spa also very nice. Lovely food lovely setting by a lake. Had tea beside a lovely fire at reception when we returned from the lake. Relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Stayed here with my family at weekend. Had a fabulous time. Spa was lovely. Staff all over very friendly. Food excellent. Wud definitely recommend it.

Incredibly loud music playing until 2am, heard very clearly in my room even with earplugs in. Was not informed at time of booking. Would not have booked if I knew this was the case. Would not recommend booking this hotel.

Stayed here last week with my other half. The room was lovely, had an amazing view. The staff were great, lots of smiling faces. The spa staff were absolutely amazing! They made me and my partner (first time spa visit) comfortable and at ease, massage was very relaxing. We had booked in for a meal on the wed also and after ordering our desert we were sat waiting about 45mins for it to come out despite asking 3 times where it was — it was only ice cream and mousse.

Most Definitely. Stayed for 2 nights recently. We just loved it and will be back next year. The staff were so helpful and friendly in every department. And a special thanks to Alana and Niamh for sending on my left behind item. Really appreciated it.

The staff were amazing, food was amazing. Staff helped us so much when my daughter took ill especially Holly on reception and the security in hotel got taxi very quickly. Thank you All so much.

Had a great few days here with the kids. Food was fabulous, staff were exceptional, rooms were spacious although it was very warm and stuffy (nothing could be done about this as us Irish just ain't used to hot weather at night), bar entertainment was great and kids facilities were excellent. Will definitely return we had a great time.

We had our wedding reception here May 9th 2019, we cannot recommend The Bloomfield enough, from the time we arrived to when we left the service was top notch, the entire day ran very smooth and stress free. Our guests along with ourselves had a ball. The service was excellent from the food/drink and the wedding coordinators were suburb, a massive thanks to Nicola & Lucy. The grounds are amazing. A huge thank you to Sharon the floor manager who looked after us very well, there was no ask to big or small, thank you to everyone at the Bloomfield that made our day so very special!

Nice hotel. You need a car to get around. Leisure centre very nice. Dissatisfied with the group evening meals. We had the same dessert for 5 evening's. Helpful staff. Walk in shower for disabled disgraceful and need updating.

Visited the Bloomfield today, it had changed dramatically since I was last there… Great furnishings and superb toilets. Staff friendly and helpful, food great apart from cool, soggy chips. Had a great chat with Mags Matthews, lovely lady, I will definetly be back. Waitress pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was lovely and the food was very good. The staff were nice and helpfull. The only fault we had was the bed was wile hard and we did not sleep well the 2 nights we were there.

This is a nicely located hotel. It has a pleasant but unexciting restaurant, and a bar. The family rooms are standard. The leisure center is good, with the swimming pool being available to use at any time of day. It tends to be full of children, but there are lanes kept for serious swimmers. There was a kids club which our ten year son did not enjoy, feeling it was geared towards younger children. Overall, I found the place lacked atmosphere or character, but everything was fine. Belvedere house is nearby and is well worth a visit!

We had our wedding reception in the Bloomfield on Friday last and it was absolutely fantastic. Joanne and Maria were lovely in dealing with all our requests and questions in the leadup to the day and Sharon ensured that all ran smoothly on the day itself. They do great work. We've had numerous comments from our guests since the day on the high quality of food and the friendliness of the servers on the day and the courteous manner of staff in general throughout the hotel. From Mr and Mrs Bannon a heartfelt thank you to you all.

As a parent of 6yr old triplets I thought Bloomfield House was brilliant value. The Kids' Club runs for 3hrs in the morning from 10am, and 3hrs in the evening from 6pm, and the kids are keen to attend, so parents get some quiet time to themselves. The Kids' Club staff were great, and did their best to make children of all ages feel included. Special shout out to Laura and Matthew who dealt with my three over the weekend Between the Kids' Club and the swimming pool, parents and children were happy. One of my boys was sick and the staff were brilliant and helped us greatly. We were all in one room with a double bed, a single bed, and a double sofa-bed, which we were quite happy with despite the tight fit — it's not like we spent hours in the room other than when sleeping. The only reason I'm going with 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of the food. The food was very good, but the portion sizes are ridiculously large, and the amount of food being sent back to the kitchen is a terrible waste. I understand that there is a price the hotel needs to charge so the numbers make sense, and I'm happy to pay that price without receiving the extra value portions. I've attached a picture to illustrate. I ordered a sandwich for lunch on the first day, which was very good indeed, but it came with about 6 potatoes worth of chips on the side, the same as with the burger in the picture which I had for dinner the next day.

One of my favourite hotels, lovely friendly helpful staff. The food is of great quality. Alcohol is quite expensive though. Pool facilities are great and breakfasts are lovely too. The lakeside walk is lovely and sitting enjoying the view in the sun was very relaxing.

Visited on a glorious sunny day. Service was great, had lunch and drinks outside in the sun. Bouncy castle and playground for children, nice walks to the lake.

Expensive rooms and they charged 180 for extras at our table in restaurant and food wasn't great and bar staff not very nice Wouldn't go back again.

A nice stay. Staff could have been friendlier. Food a bit disappointing. Lovely surroundings.

A beautiful hotel with great service.

We have been going here as a family for over 25 years. And unfortunately it's not what it used to be. It's over run by big groups of drunk people that let there children run riot all through the night. What used to be a lovely family friendly relaxing break is no longer. It got so bad on one particular night with a smashed vase at the lift and staff trying to catch children in the corridors all through the hotel. And babies being left on their own in rooms that even the receptionist bagan to cry and leave the phone off he hook. People were still served alcohol into the early hours and nothing else was done. For the many many complaints the hotel received we were basically told sorry about that and staff and management lied saying it wasn't all that bad. I'm pretty sure a 2 year old that had been left in a room on her own and then was found wandering the corridors is enough of a reason to stop serving her parents who later could not find their room either. All in all a really disappointing stay. Bloomfield is not what it used to be and the manager Ronan has no interest or care wether you enjoyed your stay or not. And if you have anything in particular to complain about he will tell you that it's probably not true.

Good hotel. Access to bedrooms is far from ideal. To get to room you need to carry luggage through bar and restaurant. In my case whilst a wedding party had taken over leaving the place blocked up. Food in the bar was nice with Nige selection for kids and adults. Chicken curry was very good. Cod and chips. Steaks. Pastas. Etc. About €16 per head.

Nice hotel, lovely food and petty good leisure facilities. All staff I met very friendly, apart from one older gentleman with glasses who served us food in the bar. We found him to be very impatient and quite rude when he and some other staff brought our food to our table. The food is very dear too, even in the bar. Other niggles include being charged for diluted juice for the children and dated, small rooms. Also, the room the staff used for the kids club was freezing. The children came back to us shivering.

Went there for Sunday lunch. Great carvery roast and lots of space outside for the kids to run around.

We stayed there for two nights with two kids. Lovely hotel with kids club to keep them entertained. I particularly enjoyed the leisure centre and they have a spa as well. The surroundings is beautiful with few minutes walk to the lake. Would recommend this hotel.

Went for per Valentine night. Safe were so friendly couldn't do enough for us. Pool was lovely. Food was to die for. Rome was amazing. Hope to return again. Great night.

Lovely warm and welcoming hotel and staff. Food is rccellent. Could do with some decent entertainment over the weekends.

Pretty good. It is what you would expect from a four star hotel. There is a kids club which I thought was nice and fun. The people that ran it were really nice. Overall I give it five stars.

Had our wedding at the Bloomfield hotel this week. What an amazing day the staff here really couldnt do enough for us or any of our guests not just on the day of the wedding but in the run up to it and on the few days after for those that chose to extend their stay. Every single guest commented on the quality of the food and how helpful and friendly the staff were. The bar staff and the girls at reception cannot be faulted but a huge thanks needs to be given to Sharon who made sure everything ran smoothly on our big day she never stopped and really made our day extra special. We cant wait to return.

The best day of our lives all thanks to the staff in Bloomfield they were amazing, they made myself and paudi feel totally relaxed the whole day, the food was outstanding and any amount of food and wine, compliments to the chef. The wedding suite was perfect and what a beautiful breakfast we got delivered to our room. Sharon and Joanne a million thanks to you for giving us a very special day…

I have stayed here a few times. Fantastic staff and lovely rooms and view. Really enjoyed my stays. All special requests seen to. Fab food and service. The spa is amazing, lovely staff and treatments. I was like a different person leaving, so relaxed!

I organised a gala dinner here. I had to book it late as I was getting messed around from another hotel close by. From the very first minute, they were helpful, understanding and very professional. On the night the room was done impeccably and the girl helping us on the night couldn't do enough for us and needless to say the night went off without a hitch. As regards the stay, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Again at breakfast the staff were great and very down to earth and good for a laugh. All in all this was one of the most pleasurable experiences I've had in a hotel and can't recommend it enough. I will definitely be back again with my wife and in a group. Excellent.

Attended our sons wedding on 23rd sept 2017 Stayed for 3 nights room and room service fab restaurant and bar 5 star and everyone who attended wedding said it was one of the best ever for quality and service.

Love the carvery lunches fresh food with a large menu choice. The hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel is immaculate and clean.

Overall a good stay. Some staff better than others, as with anywhere. Food very good and plentiful. Weather was disastrous the weekend we stayed so limited outdoor persuits for kids, however, rock n bowl close by which is good for those rainy days! Have to commend staff who ran the kiddies club with just out little boy and made him feel very important! :)

Lovely place, lovely view of of the lake. Food was good. Loved the singer at the bar one of the nights. Breakfast was lovely. Swimming pool was a family fun. Lots to do. Lovely to walk down to the lake after all I think it a lovely hotel to stay in.

Fantastic hotel, so much for all the family from bouncy castle, playground, beautiful walk and lake full of swans. Was beautiful. Kids loved the pool, we had the pleasure of staying 3 nights in this wonderful hotel and no complaints at all. Can't wait to go back. Bar had entertainment every night and staff were so friendly. Food in restaurant was very good and great breakfast in morning.

Great weekend. Food marvellous. Bar does not open until 12.00 0 clock in the morning so did cause a slight problem as I had damaged my foot. Otherwise no problem.

Stayed for one night while in the area for business. Was an enjoyable stay, with a solid sleep. Might be a bit noisy if there is a wedding on. Food was quite good, particularly the lunches on offer.

Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful location! The staff were very helpful and the rooms are huge. We had a great meal and a great time with friends here. Highly recommended!

Loved this Hotel in every way. Rooms were lovely — bright, clean, friendly. Staff were super helpful and friendly; The grounds are gorgeous; Breakfast was just divine and dinner was out of this world. We went as a Hen party and were made to feel so welcome throughout our stay. Will definitely be back again.

Not sure about the rooms, but the carvery during lunch tends to be pretty decent for lunch. It's normally around 10 euro so you won't get ripped off. Anytime I am in Mullingar I tend to get out of town and come down here for lunch. It's normally nice and calm here compared to the other hotel. Also nicer views out the window.

Spent weekend in Bloomfield with 6 of my sisters had spa treatments which were fab excellent food friendly staff beautiful rooms everything was perfect and a great price. Thanks for a great stay.

Was home from the states with my wife and kids. Stayed here for two nights with more family. The nicest staff I have ever met. Close to the town but far enough to feel like you are in the countryside. Plenty to do if you have small children. Can't wait to go back!

My son Kevin and his beauiful wife Pamela held their wedding at the Bloomfield House Hotel on the 27th/03/2015. Our experience from the time we booked in on the Friday untill we left on Sunday was fantastic. The wedding ceremony was held at the hotel and the room was just lovely. The meal could not have been any better and every guest remarked on how beauitful the food was. The staff were second to none they were so friendly and helpful and had time to talk to all the guest and even give time to the children in our party. The spa area and pool was just right to relax in. We would highly recommend Bloomfield House Hotel for any weddind day or just a weekend away to relax in the beauitful surroundings. I would like to thank all staff for helping to make Kevin and Pamela's big day very special and one they will remember for many years to come. Yours Sincerely Anna Maye.

Hi Stayed in Bloomfield Hotel for two nights with my best friend. We had a great time in Spa and the place is very nice all together. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the Bloomfield St. Patrick's weekend for 3 nights. Had a great time the hotel was lovely and the staff were great, special thanks to Noel the bar manager and Paul mainteance and Sinead in the dining room. The staff from arrival to departure were super friendly and helpful. The food was great quality and well presented and it deserved 5 *****. I look forward to my next visit which will be very soon also some friends turned up the same weekend and on speaking to them they shared my thoughts on our stay. Well done to all at the Bloomfield Hotel and hope to see you very soon.
