Never again. It’s in a horrible area nothing to do there’s only one shop which closes around nine. The room was expensive for what you got. They say if you are loud you will be asked to leave but a few people were singing karaoke in the next room and they were up after 2am. We arrived at 2pm to check in as they told us to at that time and my room was still a mess and we had to wait over an hour for it to be cleaned. The bathroom is dirty there is rust on the shower and door and lime scale in the sink. I will never stay here again. This place has a great reputation but I don’t know what’s so good about it.
No hot water next morning from shower, thought I had not turned it on right or something but I met a guest from usa who was banging on the door of the pub wanting to know why the shower was cold?. The same guy woke the whole place at 2am in the room next to me whatever he was doing, luckily I had earplugs on me, he might aswell have been in the room. Went down for breakfast at 7.30am which was the time it was meant to be open, nobody about, door locked. Had to go to the shop across the road and get something as I had to get on the road. Bit of a joke but this is Ireland so used to this now. Room was nice and clean other wise, staff were friendly, but not around when needed, It's a great location, just get the simple stuff right and it would be grand…
