Great spa facilities, lovely food, beautiful scenery, a nice place to relax.

Recently got married here and we honestly did not have one fault. From start to finish the day was just first class. The staff were so amazing and accommodating to everyone, the food was perfect and all the guests never tasted food like it in there life. We will always return to carlingford as it holds a special place in our hearts. Thank you to all the staff and especially Seidy who was there for us from the very start we were looked after so well I would go and do it all over again tomorrow All our love Marie & Padraig.

We had our wedding in the Four Seasons & it was the best day ever! Nothing was too much for Seidy and the staff. Food was amazing, staff were brilliant. Would do it all over again in a heart beat!

Left new clothes behind in the room and staff can't seem to find them. Food was a disgrace with dirty glasses and cutlery. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Great staff, very friendly and accomodating. Lovely setting with beautiful views, look forward to being back with the family. Seidy and the team were a fantastic help.

We can not thank all the staff enough at the Four Seasons Hotel who where amazing on our wedding day on St. Patricks day and for the second day. Every single member of staff where so thoughtful and attentative from the start of the day. Everything, despite us being 30 minutes late to arrive ran like clock work. The waiters and waitress throughout the meal where so professional, the bar staff where brilliant craic and the host was Caben was amazing. Thank you to the waiters and waitress who helped us with our walk in they where so much fun waiting with us. But mostly I want to thank Linda. Linda has been amazing from when we first booked our date back in 2020 and all the changes we have had in between thanks to covid. Linda has been so much fun to work with she always has been positive and reassuring with every email, phone call and face to face conversation. Linda calmed me down on the day when it all became to overwhelming and even went as far to hold my umbrella in the rainy photoshoot. Every bride needs a linda! Day two we ended up with 40 extra guests this did not phase the hotel, everything again ran like clock work extra tables, chairs and food where produced with what appeared minimal effort. Amazing! Dermot the general manager also took time over both days and the day we checked out to link in with us which was lovely. We all felt like we where treated like family by all staff. The food both days was amazing.

Leisure centre is so dated, mouldy showers and felt unclean. Restaurant food make me feel ill with the grease, I never complain about the food as I'm very easily pleased but unfortunately this was tasteless and did make me feel ill for most of the next day. The massage in the spa was fantastic though so that is the only thing I'd come back for.

We've had a lovely weekend, on the first weekend of the reopening … well done to all the staff, so very friendly and welcoming, all safe systems in place, a beautiful hotel set in a beautiful location with great food. We will definately be back.

We can’t thank the Four Seasons enough for what they did for us, we came to the hotel 8 days before our wedding with no reception due to different restrictions and they pulled out all the stops and more to give us the most perfect reception with our closest family and friends. We all had the most amazing day. A big thank you to Linda and Dermot and the rest of the team for everything you honestly made our wedding. I was in today for a pregnancy massage it was amazing I feel so relaxed, first time getting a pregnancy massage and I will definitely be back the staff are so lovely and friendly and make you feel so comfortable.

Great 2 nights stay. Amazing bar staff. Jimmy — the blonde gentleman in the suit, also the girls that work with him.

Had a fantastic stay here at the weekend relaxing, peaceful atmosphere and Quinn on reception was soo friendly and helpful. Really really enjoyable stay will definitely be back.

Every thing from arrival to departure and everything in between Wife was over the moon with the luxe spa experience which was the mainstay of our visit as it was a birthday treat, will definitely be back again Yours Derek Parkinson.

The massage I got was a 10 out of 10. I’m not an easy client as I’m a coach — my massage was excellent.

I booked the Superior Room for our wedding night and it was a disaster from start to finish. For two nights it was costing €360. The hotel had explained that they couldn't give us the honeymoon suite becaus there was a wedding that day in the hotel, so I requested the Superior room and asked could we have champagne, strawberries etc in the room, they said yes with no extra charge. I rang the day before arrival to pay in advance with card and explained my husband-to-be would be checking in before we got married down the road, could they take our bags and put them in the room if it wasn't ready, they said they would and it would be no problem… On the big day, my husband arrived with our bags to check in, they wouldn't allow him to check in and said to come back later on. That night at 2.30am we arrived with baggage from our wedding reception to check in, had to wait 20 minutes to be seen to, got our keys and asked if food to the room was still available and they said yes and to order from the room. Arrived at the room… No champagne or strawberries, rang down for food and all that was available was egg mayonnaise or tuna sandwiches. Next morning we woke at 10.40am, breakfast stops at 10.30am (which we weren't told). I rang and explained we got in late etc and could they make an exception as we're only 10 minutes late… the answer was No. To top it all off the bed was the worst bed I've slept in and given it was our wedding night, it was the icing on the cake!

Great hotel, staff extremely helpful and friendly especially Audrey in restaurant. Food excellent, beds very comfy. Will definitely be back.

Attend a wedding here. The room and the setting was beautiful. Service from staff was brilliant everyone couldn't have been more helpful. The food at the wedding was excellent. Good portions and extras served.

Nice food and atmosphere. Lovely gardens. Gym is a bit sad looking and the ladies changing rooms are well below standard.

Stayed 2 nights for a friend's wedding, hard to believe this is a 4 star, 3 at best. Rooms are basic, no ironing board, ac, fridge, mini bar etc. Room located at back of hotel woken by deliveries to hotel. Requested a present to be delivered to wedding suite and was told by receptionist they're unable to do so. Drink got knocked over at bar and charged for 2nd drink by barman. €3.50 additional charge for a cappuccino at breakfast, straight from a machine. B&B at €170 per night and they'll scam any extra few euros they can. Would not stay again and would not recommend either!

A cozy hotel in Carlingford, there is a pool.

Busy well located modern hotel in the heart of beautiful Carlingford. Excellent views of Lough and mountain scenery as a backdrop. Service and staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Food options are good complete with bar and restaurant. Spa facilites, leisure centre including swimming pool may this stay ideal for famillies and couples alike. Within strolling distance of Carlingford town — with its beautiful aspect and historic buildings. Family rooms are spacious and generally sleep 4/5, the hotel is quiet and secure, weddings were on when I was there and I could hear nothing!

Good service in bar area despite being busy at public holiday week. Food was good with good range of choices.

Lovely hotel. Food good. Restaurant very slow and not very tuned in. Waited ages before getting a menu and the same before ordering. Had to go to the bar to put in the food order.

Had a great stay. The staff are great very helpful and attentive lovely place cant praise it enough.

It was fine in a nice location food was nice but just hotel food it's clean but it lacks atmosphere people who serve could be bit more welcoming.

Pro i/Good Location for Carlingford (the only hotel) ii/ Scenery is spectular and Carlingford could be a special town (unfortunately the town is run down, aims for stag/hen market, and does appear to appreciate its heritage) ) Cons i/ rooms are really, really dated, I stayed in a 'suite' and its didn't have a stand up shower, the decor is vile in the rooms (to be fair work is taking place, presumably this will include up dating shower facilities past the 1970s), the rest of the hotel (that has been updated recently) is tacky ii/ cleanliness isn't great marks of everything, hoping the spray marks on the ceiling were from fizzy water iii/ Breakfast is a disaster 1. Disorganised, breakfast was stated as starting at 0730 by 0820 hot buffet was still not available when I left. 2. Crockery was chipped, cultery was dirty (like it had been dipped in grease) more 2 star than 4 star. 3. Overall set up was like school dinners, cutlery in grey plastic trays, etc. 4. Staff uninterested in guests requirements, to busy chatting with each other. I was not at any other meals so perhaps dinner service is better. iv/Staff, not interested, senior staff at reception were brisky and poorly turned out, doing nothing but to busy to check me out v/ Carlingford including the outskirts is not a quiet place or relaxing, unless you are after stags/hens screaming to 0400 then its great vi/ massively over priced (captive market)

Very enjoyable venue. Excellent well priced evening meals in Bar and Bistro. Good choice for breakfast.

We were just there for food. It was a big disappointment! We waited over one hour for our food, it was cooked with too much fat, the pizza was frozen up and the cheese on the burger was not even melted. We paid too much for the "food"

Service was Fantastic, if you required anything extra, they were onto it straight away. A big Thank-you to Jason for making sure everything was to our liking on our dining experience. So reasonable in price & and fancy cocktails at €5 each. Lovely Jazz band playing in the backround. Hotel is so beautiful and well done up for Easter to please even the little people (kids) as they enter the hotel. A real family feel to relax in. I will truly want to go back very soon. Thank you Four Seasons. Well done ☺

Really enjoyed our stay. Warm, clean and comfortable. Children enjoyed the pool this morning.

Dreadful customer service from the bar and restaurant staff, food was nice. Pool was dirty and facilities too. Would not recommend or return.

We had a few complications checking in, but only a minor blip. The staff were so friendly and helpful in resolving the issue at hand. Our room was lovely and clean, very comfortable too. Only issue I would have is the shower wasn't powerful enough (but hey everyone to there own). Breakfast is lovely and so is the bar food. The girls in the spa are so nice I really enjoyed my treatments there, highly recommend guys.

Beautiful hotel but food and service a big disappointment. Bar staff very slow to move, restaurant staff not experienced, putting bottle of wine on table, screw-top cap still on botttle, mistakes on menu. Found a hair in my pavlova twirl desert. The list is endless. I was sick over Christmas so I thought Id go here for a break. Beautiful part of the country but I will stay somewhere else next time.

Modern, stylish and cosy lounge. Food was 100%. Never used the spa or rooms but I'll definitely try some day.

Was at wedding here, food was plan but really nice. Did not get much sleep, was put in a room with a connecting door to the next room so we could hear all they were saying and doing for hours.

Attended a wedding at the hotel and stayed overnight. Rooms were lovely and comfortable, staff were very helpful and wedding was beautiful. Great location for a wedding.

Lovely relaxing stay at the four seasons, the leisure centre is excellent and the staff were friendly.

This is a fine hotel with great views of Carlingford Lough from the ballroom upstairs, which is perfect for big weddings. The restaurant downstairs serves really good food though the service can be a bit slow. Where it falls down is in its looks, the exterior is quite plain and the entrance atrium/reception area is dull and forgettable.

Very nice place. Very nice staff. My timing was a little off. I came on a busy day and everything was very slow. Food and drink was good.

Good food, friendly atmosphere and staff, decor in rooms pretty dated but being refurbished when we were there and pretty serviceable. Our friends had their wedding here and it was nice. Excellent value.

Beautiful hotel nestled in a beautiful location. Looking out onto water in front and hills to the side. Amazing pool and I photographed the suits set for wedding and huge conference. Friendly and traditionally hospitable staff … I'll be back as someone once said … But next time with the family, apparently there is a horse riding place just next door to the grounds, another tick in the box for daughters.

Was at this hotel for a wedding. Beautifully decorated and amazing scenery. But service and food is poor not to mention long waiting time between courses Staff are either very young and clueless or just rude. Would not recommend and hope not invited to another wedding at this hotel.

Great Hotel, Very popular with weddings. It takes advantage of the Glorious views of the Lough and the Slieve Foye mountain. Very well staffed.

Standard room, good location that's quite easy to walk into the downtown core and a good sized car park.

Very disappointing exerience. We had been liasoning with the hotel to arrange holding a professional photo shoot in one of their deluxe rooms. Room was no bigger than regular rooms, except a four-post bed had been squeezed in, but when we returned to confirm the room anyway, one member of staff was overheard saying to another "I think they're organising something sleazy. " The representative sent to 'deal with us' vaguely and patronisingly stated it was not the kind of thing the hotel was interested in supporting — a point which would have been better taken had we been originally informed of this before being shown around rooms. I will not be recommending the Four Seasons as a location in the North East for other professional photographers or models.
