Rooms were clean and spacious. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. There were 40 in our group and all three choices received rave reviews by all. The food was hot, not common for a group this large. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever seen from any hotel.

I sat in the out door restaurant waiting for my friend to have lunch. I decided to have a coffee. It was fairly empty. I was curious how long it would take the waiter (he looked like a manager) to see and serve me. I was in full view. Three groups of people came in after me and were given menus and were even served. And yet he didn't come to my table to give me a menu or ask what I was having. I have had several bad experiences with this hotel over the years but I always assume time will remedy it. From food poisoning, even though it was 10 years ago, to a dreadful breakfast buffet to several occasions of poor service. Yesterday was the last straw hence the rotten review.

I have stayed at this hotel a week and I have to tell you guys that despite the carpet ' which is something that I personally detest ' our room was spotless, it offers so many facilities for example: swimming pool, sauna, the possibility of booking excursions through a Atm. The staff is really very helpful and polite, personally I have a beautiful memory of this hotel.

Nice Hotel with spacious rooms and good facilities including gym and pool. Breakfast was great and staff are very friendly. Location is good too. About 15mins on the bus to the city centre but right next to the famous jail (Gaol) and modern art museum. Also, the hop on hop off bus stop is right at the front so that's handy — you can buy tickets on the bus if you're looking to explore Dublin on it.

Conveniently located opposite Kilmainham Jail, this hotel is ideal for couples and families to grab a quick bite. The restaurant is large so it's handy for anyone with a buggy/stroller. The menu offers a wide range of food both large and small dishes. There are also baby changing facilities. The staff are very helpful and accommodating if you have children.

Attended briefly for an arts and craft fair, having seen the banner advertised outside. First impressions were good, modern and well kept lobby. The fair was held downstairs in one of the venue rooms. At first reception, free tea and coffee provided which was a nice surprise. Walked briskly around the stalls and left shortly after.

Great hotels to stay at. Location is not as central as other hotels but price difference makes up for a 15 minute walk to nearest Airlink stop. Nearer bus location making easier to go to City Centre. Hotel breakfast is amazing as all European hotels have. Rooms are clean and tidy and decent size for Europe. Recommend staying if you want to save a little bit of money.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was great. There's a convenience store across the street, and the location is perfect — very walkable to sights. We drove from the airport, and it was a fairly easy drive (we're American and had to adjust to driving on the left). The breakfast was delicious, particularly compared to American hotel breakfasts. So much better. The restaurant also had great scones and coffee. We would stay here again!

This review is only for the restaurant as I have never stayed at this hotel as a guest… myself and the family went here for a cup of tea after a visit to Kilmainham Gaol. The service was quite slow it felt quite expensive for tea for us. Let’s just say we didn’t stay for lunch. But that said there is a nice atmosphere in there, nice decor and comfortable.

Great hotel for business and leisure. Rooms look new, and beds are insanely comfortable. Great restaurants on the ground floor and staff was useful with their information about the city and very friendly and professional. Looking forward to going back.

Everything perfect. Clean, comfortable, staff and location great with parking. Complimentary bottle of beautiful red wine, 2 glasses and a message on a card for my birthday left in the room. Lovely place to stay.

The Hilton is very clean, well appointed rooms, the front desk Agent Ana was absolutely fantastic. I also had the brunch in the morning was excellent. A bit pricey 18Euros I think. But everything was excellent. There is a great fitness center in the hotel as well. You can walk to many attractions, lots of restaurants, pubs and grocery stores in the area. The train station is near by and the bus 13 in front of the hotel will take you downtown Dublin.

Had lunch in the bar — whilst the food was good, service was slow. That is not down to the waiters just the lack of them. They need more staff on a busy day. Will still go back. Nice all the same.

This was by far the most amazing hotel experience of my life. The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They all went out of their way to get to know us and even remembered my daughter's name and used it whenever they saw her. The continental breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had in my life. The pool was very relaxing and clean. Great location and easily accessible to the bus lines. Restaurant in lobby has delicious food and spirits. I highly recommend anytime you are in Dublin.

Wonderful stay. Fabulous decor and extremely friendly, polite and helpful staff. Lovely view from room, and room itself excellent, spotlessly clean. Breakfast excellent as is good and service in bar and restaurant. Near loads of tourist attractions. Fully recommend.

Good hotel, located a bit outside of the city center. Rooms are clean, big and very comfortable. Beds are excellent. Spa/pool/fitness area is excellent. Breakfast had good fresh food with lots of choice.

Such a nice experience here. Arrived directly from the airport from overseas flights exhausted but knew our room wouldn’t be available until at least 3pm, we took the Kilmainham Gaol tour (across the street highly recommend) then headed back to the reception area to relax a bit by then our room was ready as he offered us first available it was only 11:30AM but it made the rest of our day so much more enjoyable getting to shower, change, and take a nap. Breakfast buffet was incredible with selection and quality, great service too. We were unsure as to how the location would work out since it’s our first time in Dublin, it ended up being fantastic! We walked most places and then took a taxi home but it was very easy to get anywhere. No complaints here!

Great hotel, the service is amazing, the food is really great. The location is awesome, you get to see very beautiful part of Dublin. You should really consider coming to this hotel.

Went for an anniversary weekend away. Staff very helpful, told us where everything was & the easiest way to get to places. Even gave us a bottle of prosecco to celebrate! Very clean, excellent food. Couldn't fault it — as expected from a Hilton hotel.

The Hilton looks good and has a good reputation but unfortunately it isn't deserved in this particular hotel. Waited for 20 minutes for someone to come and take an order for a couple of coffees but eventually had to go to the counter to order them. When the coffees arrived (another 10 minutes), they were cold and very strong. It wasn't very busy so I'm not sure why the service was so poor. I won't be back.

Great clean rooms with plenty hot water and water pressure. Good bar and restaurant area as well as a delicious large breakfast to start the day. Quiet at night, and close to Dublin bus stops.

Wonderful location in Dublin. Just outside of the central core but close for walking to city center. Very helpful front office staff which arranged taxis and directions. We had day tours early and the hotel packed breakfast and coffee for us.

Solid stay. Nice and useful sauna, pool, jacuzzi and a gym. Very helpful staff. The location is a bit far from city centre but good enough for a short walk.

The lady at the reception with her lovely Irish accent is super helpful and very informative. The hotel is comfortable they also have gym classes with a trainer you can just walk in for which I think is pretty awesome.

Had a great stay here a few weeks ago. Staff accommodated our early check in request. Gym services were great and included a hydro-therapy pool and sauna. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast was the best one I had during my stay in Ireland. About a 10 minute walk from Heuston Rail Station. Right near Irish Museum of Modern Art and Kilmainham Jail. A bit outside of the city but that means almost no noise coming from the streets nearby.

Amazing hotel. The staff are excellent, always friendly and helpful. The gym and pool are are top notch in hotel gym standards. Good location, close to transit, deers, a jail and art museum. I love staying here.

Nice place in the neighborhood to have a drink on the terrace at the end of the day. Otherwise, rather overrated.

A little eccentric. Ideal for visiting Kilmainham, Museum of Modern Arts and Guinness.

I can only review the restaurant and bar, called "Broyage". Service is very good, with friendly and attentive staff. Good range of food and drinks. Given that this is in a Hilton hotel, it is not going to be cheap, but quality of food and service are excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar is very relaxed and friendly. I strongly recommend this place for a get together, drink or meal.

The Hilton Kilmainham is a modern, medium-sized chain hotel. The first impression was very positive. The entrance hall is also the habitability area, the Bar is separated by a glass wall. Despite the lush size of the entrance hall, it looks generous and spacious. The guests are primarily business people, mostly British or Irish. Cleanliness appears to be placed in this Hilton value, the entrance area, the Bar and the two elevators (5 floors) were not objectionable. The two elevators are only with the room card and are quickly available. Wi-Fi or wired Internet access is available throughout the Hotel.

Great staff lovely food great rooms.

Lovely outdoor areas here. Drinks can be a bit expensive and there isn't a huge amount of gluten free options available from the menu.

Fabulous hotel has a great breakfast. Only down fall when we asked the front desk the best way to get around instead of aaying use the hop on hop off bus she said to drive. Parking is hard to find and cost us 35 $ for the day compared to using the bus for 10 $

Four corners café is good for coffee before or after visiting kilmainham.

We were satisfied with this hotel, I liked pillow and bed so my sleeping was perfect. Breakfast was little poor. Biggest problem was in wellness — cloakroom was messy as hell and in showers was missing soap in two cabins, also too much of chlorine in the pool! In this kind of hotel it is really shame. Btw, I really loved the sweet petite girl in reception, she was so kind and so beautiful! :)

Just got a vacation for $1200 less through Hotels Etc then the regular booking sites like expedia. Then to top it off I got a huge discount on theme parks in Orlando while I was there. Save around $1800 being a member. This site is by far the best for me. I really love the hotel discounts but the theme park discounts are awesome.

I booked a table for my birthday last Saturday. We arrived on time and we sat down and we were ordering drinks and all seemed to be going well. The starters arrived really fast but then the service went down. It was very slow. We stayed in total 3 hours in the restaurant. The very disappointed part was at the time of the dessert because I asked the manager prior to the booking if they had candles for the cake and he told me yes. So I did not bring any with me on the day. He also wrote in his book that we were a VIP table. I thought at the time that it was very thoughtful. We did not feel VIP at all. So coming back to the candles, the waitress said that unfortunately they had none. So they brought the cake and they just left the cake on the table and disappeared. We had to ask 3 times for a knife and they finally brought us a bread knife as they could not find a dessert knife. So I cut it with a normal knife which was on the table. When I had finished cutting for everyone another waitress came with a dessert knife. It was slightly annoying. But we did not say anything as we were all together and this what was important. Then lastly on the time of payment no one was to be found and then it seemed so complicated to pay 3 bills. On a good note the food was excellent. Well done to the chef. I am not mentioning any names. I just wanted to let other people know that the service in this Hilton is not worth a 4 star hotel but the quality of food is excellent.

The hotel is very well located near phoenix park which makes it a pretty nice place to stay in. The staff was friendly and welcoming but the rooms could have been cleaner. The sauna was great and the food — delicious. Would stay again if I visit Dublin.

Great hotel, very helpful staff.

Stayed here last week for one night with my sister as we were attending a concert close by. As the Hilton Hotel Group boats such excellence and quality I had high hopes. Unfortunately they did not live up to my expectations. Firstly, the regulator in shower was faulty as well as the shower tap being loose on the wall. The hair dryer did not work. There is also no mention of the ridiculous car parking charges on their website. This is very sly considering how much they charged us for a twin room for one night (245e)! I was also dissatisfied with the poor communication skills and service from check out staff. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth and I will not be returning to stay there in the near future.

This pm my husband ordered gluten. Free beef stroganoff. We had checked on line and were happy to see you catered for coeliacs. Our evening was completly ruined as he had a most violent reaction. Perhaps your chef and staff could update on the side effects of gluten contamination on coeliacs. P, Bourke.

The hotel is spotless and appears brand new. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend the property. However two points: 1) Wi-Fi will not work in the room. The hotel advertises Wi-Fi but you will only have reception in the lobby in 48 hour increments. There are two computers in the lobby for public use. 2) We had a problem with a noise complaint made in regard to our TV. We were watching TV at a normal volume when a manager came up to our room and very politely asked us to turn it down. Instead we turned it off. A few minutes later a phone rang. It was so loud and clear that we thought someone was calling our room. Instead, someone was calling the adjacent room which had apparently made the complaint. What am I saying? This hotel while stylish and new in appearance is not soundproof and noise appears to travel quite easily. If we thought the phone was ringing in our room when it wasn't then noise must travel easily, and that's why our neighbors heard our TV. Consider this if you desire a completely quiet experience.

Me and my girlfriend had an excellent experience with this hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 8:30 am after a night flight from Palermo. Knowing that there were still hours away from check-in time, we just wanted to put down our luggage first. But the staff said our room was ready and checked us in right away! Rooms are kept neat and clean with the service staff cleaning them twice a day if necessary. Overall, the Hilton Kilmainham is a great find in Dublin and a wonderful place to stay while exploring Dublin.

Everything about the hotel, the food, room, staff and facilities were fabulous and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Couple of bus stops very close to the hotel including both hop-on-off bus lines.
