Absolutely beautiful 2 night stay. Room was spacious, spotless, decorated beautiful and very comfortable. Spa treatment was amazing. My husband hired a boat and successfully caught a good number of fish. Food very tasty. Staff where very attentive. All in all could not say anything bad and look forward returning soon. 5☆

Just back from yet another exceptional stay. This time in Sir Johns room (uncle Jack) which is full of history and the most impressive view over the main lake. Superb customer service as always.

Had food here tonight it was just OK nothing exceptional but as for the service it was dire management was nonexistent seemed to be "children" serving.

Tried to go for a Sunday walk to your estate, and was refused entry and so were many others behind us due to no ‘card’ as the woman stated but didn’t specify to what card. Disappointed.

We visited for the first time and absolutely loved it! It is a very special place and we were totally impressed with the excellent level of customer service. The two ladies on reception were amazing! Definitely looking forward to returning for another visit.

We originally booked Castle Leslie for our Wedding Reception for July 2020, but had to reschedule to December due to Covid-19 restrictions. After a really challenging year for both ourselves and Castle Leslie due to ever-changing restrictions, it was absolutely fantastic to have our reception here. The staff were exceptional, the food was incredible and the venue was amazing — our guests commented on how great the staff were. We stayed in the new West Wing which was beyond a doubt the best room we have ever stayed in, and our guests were delighted with their accomodation, food and service at the reception. Even though there were challenges along the way, we would highly recommend Castle Leslie as they really delivered for us on the day. Shannen and Sean.

Really disappointed — had a voucher that was barely expired. Wasn’t honored & trying to get a response was made so difficult. Constantly fobbed off as management was “ on days off”. Bad way to do business …

Absolutely brilliant day today! 5 of us came for the 2 hour hack, the views were amazing and the horses were so well behaved! be back again to try the cross country!

A very enjoyable experience. Room was big and comfortable and the food was good. Plenty of activities to choose from besides the lovely walks around the beautiful estate grounds. Wish I'd booked an extra night!

This Castle is awesome! we just arrived and we were late to eat, but they got us some food anyway it was wonderful. I am not sleep on the beds yet but they sure feel like they will be very comfortable. And the Castle itself is truly beautiful. Cozy cottage and very friendly staff. Bit disappointed with their breakfast (as there were not too many options to choose from) and their bar food (bit pricy for the quality of food you are getting). The hotel is very clean though and staff is very, very helpful.

Lovely relaxing place for a break!

It's good but a lot simpler than you might think it doesn't seem to embrace the historical value as much as you might think.

I'm reviewing the restaurant not the hotel here. The Castle is an amazing place to stay but only breakfast is served in the house these days and so main meals are served in the restaurant in the lodge. So… The restaurant and staff are very nice. There is a decent wine list and a fantastic selection of gins. Now the bad part — the food was presentation over taste on every course. We had the 6 course meal. Not what we would have chosen but our €25 voucher that came with our booking was only valid on this menu option so check his out before you buy. I think it can be used for afternoon tea also. Anyway, I don't mind nouvelle cuisine. I really don't. But here's the thing, the food has to taste as good if not better than it looks. It didn't. Some courses didn't even smell appetising. I think it's a step too far when staff need to point out what eatable and what's not on your plate. Come on guys. What is wrong with delicious, uncomplicated food that tastes amazing? That's not what we got. We got dishes that were disappointingly average at best that looked amazing but taste just didn't match the visual experience. I think you should reconsider some of these dishes and back off on the dry ice and pebbles and focus on great taste. Standard has slipped since I ate here in Easter 2015 where it was just as over presented but the food was better. Disappointed. 3 things needed at Castle Leslie I think — 1.
