Had a spa treatment today with my daughter. Claire was so friendly and made our afternoon really special. Would highly recommend.

Had our wedding reception here was just perfect from beginning to end. Food was fabulous service was fabulous staff was fabulous management was absolutely fabulous it was definitely the right place to choose for us and made our day extra special. Rooms were absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic also. Thanks to Niall, Ivan, Liam, Kinga and Rebecca. Definitely a 5 star venue. Thank you so much for making our special day extra special ❤️

My Husband and I had the most incredible wedding along with all our family and friends on the 4/03/22. Niall is absolutely fantastic and so helpful, we had few date changes with lockdown and even with all this Niall made it so stress free. Everything was just perfect, the hotel is stunning and what I absolutely love is the atmosphere, so warm and welcoming. The food is delicious, the setting was amazing. The bridal suite is top notch. Highly highly recommend thank you Niall and to the whole team at The Errigal for giving us all a wonderful wedding!

We were visiting from Dublin and went for Sunday lunch with our extended family. OMG the food was absolutely excellent, from the roast beef and super tasty veg to the amazing desserts. I was expecting a decent carvery but got high end restaurant quality food. I don’t normally write reviews but I was very impressed. Service was fast and efficient too but the food was the star!

We had our wedding reception at the Errigal hotel on the 26/11/2021 and it was the best day we could have ever asked for! Niall was amazing to work with from our very first viewing of the hotel right through until the wedding day! Staff was very professional and very pleasant. We had so many comments back from our guest about how good the food was and the service, there is absolutely nothing we could fault this hotel on at all! We had our wedding reception at the Errigal hotel on 13/11/21 it really was the best day of our lives and it all comes down to this amazing hotel. From the first day we booked it and having to reschedule dates due to covid, Niall & staff were so helpful and understanding. When we finally had our day, everything was perfect from the food, to the presentation, to the friendly staff. We couldn’t recommend the Errigal enough, massive thank you to Niall, Ivan, Rebecca & all the staff. Looking forward to returning soon. Mr & Mrs Mc Gorry. Xx.

Fantastic place, few years ago had confirmation for my young child lovely place staff very friendly and helpful. Great place food is amazing and more offered. Highly recommend this place.

The Errigal Hotel is outstanding in every way. The staff are so friendly and professional. The food is of such high standard and quality. I have stayed here on several occasions would definitely recommend everyone to try it for yourselves.

In a beautiful setting surrounded by the countryside. Lovely decor throughout the hotel.

After countless back & forth phonecalls from the most unhelpful reception staff I have ever had the misfortune of speaking too I just cancelled my overpriced stay altogether.

Just back from a fab weekend, staff were so accommodating, food was just fabulous, and Spa treatments went down a treat with Champagne and refreshments afterwards. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of a break away.

My Husband and I our just back from are long weekend away, we have been many times and the hotel just gets better and better each time we go. The food is excellent and at a high quality, the service was as always great.
The staff our all fantastic in all departments and in these hard times with covid19 there doing there very best to keep everyone safe.

Had a little problem and they were on it straight away upgraded us to the top room in the hotel the staff are fantastic and cant do enough for everyone there doing all the covid rules and making sure that everyone is safe at the hotel fabulous garden and the views are fantastic well done all the staff we will be back

Had a wonderful lunch — the chicken wings are amazing. Super service from staff and the beauty salon — I love my new haircut.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely surprise on arrival with a bottle of bubbly and chocolates and note from staff congratulating us on our anniversary. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food was amazing at dinner. The Terry's chocolate cheesecake was the highlight. Thank you for an enjoyable night away. Marie is an outstanding employee, attentive and friendly.

We had our sons Christening in Erigal restaurant on 16th February 2020. The food was amazing (5*) with quick service. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating to us both leading up to and on the day. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Would highly reccomend.

We got married 30.11.19 and had our reception at The Errigal. Could not recommend enough. From the first contact to the actual wedding day everything was perfect. Huge thank you to Niall, Avon and the whole staff. The food and presentation was incredible, our guests are still talking about the food 6 weeks later. Excellent food and service and what more would you really want, well maybe good company, but when you are with the two people who matter the the most to you there is no need to be looking for anything else.

We got married here on the 6th September. From the minute of booking til checkout the morning after the wedding, everything was perfect! Staff were lovely — couldn't do enough for us & the food was lovely. Some lovely added touches to the room for special occasion. Room was beautiful too, jacuzzi and four poster bed would definitely recommend to family and friends for any special occasion!

Very friendly staff. Room and bathroom was very clean. Bar food was yummy and breakfast was all u cud eat. We got a triplet room and was 3 beds which was brilliant. Cant wait to go back again.

Had a meal there on Sunday 9th. Beautiful meal, served quickly and staff very friendly and helpful. However, the noise of TV's blaring in the background gave me a headache. You couldn't hold a conversation with the noise. All Tv's had football on and not everyone likes football. For that reason alone I wouldn't return for an evening meal.

Dropped in here around 7pm for quick bite to eat in the bar while on the road. Service is really good — big jug of water straight up and everything looked after just right even though it was fairly busy. There were a few young families and it seems to be very much a child-friendly spot. For a bar food menu there's a great range of food and in terms of quality and flavour it's the best hotel for food for miles around. Had been here before for lunch which was also very good, and look forward to being back again.

Went for lunch, I had the club sandwich which was ok, a little dry though. My parents had the turkey and ham dinner. The vegetables tasted like they'd been lying around for a few days.

The spa is absolutely amazing here, so relaxing. The staff make you feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

I had my graduation in the Errigal Hotel Last night (7-6-18). It was the best night ever. The food was fab and the staff was lovely and kind. Would really recommend.

Our recent stay was very comfortable, the food was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and helpful — there was a small issue with noisy pipes in our room, but we brought it to the attention of the reception staff and they were greatful that it was brought to their attention so they could fix it. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful experience today in the Errigal. Food staff and service second to none. Will definitely visit again.

I arrived hungry and in need of a plug in for my phone. The bar staff took wonderful care in getting me connected and food and drink delivered post haste. Delicious burger with blue cheese, carmelized marmalade onions and salad and chips. I am sated. Thank you Errigal Pub!

Very nice hotel have dinner or lunch there any time passing. Unfortunately to date have not stayed there but looks good.

Beautiful hotel in lovely countryside, well decorated, clean and warm. When we arrived it was quiet and the receptionist upgraded us to a deluxe room for free — woo hoo! We had a deal that included breakfast and a dinner and both were amazing, literally couldn't eat any more! Also had a back massage and spent time in the thermal suite which was very relaxing, they also provided us with free fizzy which was a nice touch! Only small complaint was that even at the lowest setting the fan for the room heating was very loud and we had to switch it off to go to sleep! Other than that it was a very relaxing break away and I could have slept in that big comfy bed for a week :)

Lovely hotel, warm and cosy rooms, food delicious, friendly staff. Only negative was loud, thumping music until 230am… not good enough for a 4 star rating.

Nice from the outside, we were at a conference in the main function room where the hold wedding receptions, not a nice room, no windows, looks a bit like a community Hall with Chandler's, very dated, could do with brightening up, we did not eat there so cannot comment on the food.

Busy Saturday evening. Staff were helpful. Good was Ok, slow to arrive and not very hot.

Great vegan options — I had a delicious Lentil Dahl meal as a main course and vegetable Soup of the Day as a starter. Waiter was nice and even asked the chef if the soup was vegan.

Really enjoyed my spa break today. It was perfect and the girls were lovely.

Stayed here back on the October bank holiday for my cousin Barry and Kelly’s wedding. One of the best hotels we have stayed in from start to finish. To start we were traveling from Kerry and we were delayed on our journey not checking in untill 10pm we were greeted very warmly by the receptionist, we received complementary sandwiches tea and coffee in the bar which was very welcomed by all. Our room was fabulous newly decorated, clean and very spacious. Breakfast staff were delightful and very welcoming. Me and my mom were booked into the spa for fair and make up. The service we received here was 5 star our hair and make up were fabulous and the girls were lovely even got me out of an awkward situation very discreetly thank you for that and for been so nice. The wedding reception was unreal the mini burgers were delicious as were the scones with ham and cream. The wedding venue was decorated lovely and the dinner was also delicious. Throughout our stay every staff member we met was as nice and helpful as the next. Your staff is a credit to you and that is what makes a hotel stay memorable and enjoyable. Notting was a bother to them and so helpful when asking for something. Highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying with Ye again when we visit. Thank you.

What can we say that hasn't already been said about this hotel. We celebrated our wedding here on 11th November 2017 but from day 1 when we first met Niall it was nothing short of a pleasure dealing with him. We loved it when we booked in early 2016 and since then they have done incredible work on the hotel to make it such an amazing place to have a wedding. Our guests are raving about the place. The staff, food, service, rooms and decoration was all superb and it made our day so special. Nothing we asked was too much and I could not recommend this hotel any higher for a wedding. Can't wait to go back some day soon for an overnight stay or some dinner. Thanks for everything! Stephen and Rachel.

Great hotel in Cavan. Very comfortable, clean and with nice bar, restaurant and breakfast. It is also a good venue for events and weddings.

Attended son's wedding here 20/10/2017 and had a fab time. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. At busy times could do with extra staff to cope with number of guests both in bar and at breakfast. Staff prepared to assist in any way to enhance experience of stay. Loved it, stay again? — Yes.

Rooms were large and clean. Beds are very comfortable and food fantastic. Only gripe would be Wi-Fi connection in rooms very poor.

Attended a wedding at the Errigal. They did a good jod overall, I felt the food could have been better. Room was nice, breakfast was poor. A little bit expensive for the room.

Had dinner at the restaurant and I had the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Prices were reasonable and service was fantastic!

What a lovely place. Nice drive up to the hotel. The place was so clean. Near to cootehill town about 3 — 4 mins in the car. There a spa area if that your thing. Wedding are used here. Grounds are well maintained not even anything out of place. It would be a nice place to stay if you were looking for a week away or a pit stop if you were moving on.

Not brilliant. One soup cold and one boiling. Main course was just ok.

Had a great girly pal weekend with friend for her 40th Birthday. Really enjoyed the spa treatment, relaxation room & endless prosecco. Even flowing as complimentary at the dinner package — meal was goregous, tasty & good value. Loved the room decor harlequin feel & very comfy. Overall great weekend. Just minus one star for the noisey neighbours we had — we were on a chill out weekend and they were on a session — which is fair enough & know the hotel couldn't really control that so only minus one for lack of sleep!

Fantastic hotel with chalet accommodation for when the main hotel is booked up. Very clean and the staff will bend over backwards to help where they can.

Beautiful hotel, amazing food and wonderful staff. Thoroughly recommend this place, fantastic venue for weddings. So very welcoming and comfortable.

Stayed in one of the"lodges". Rooms were much more b&b than 4 star hotel. It was clean though. En suite bargain basement. None of the touches you'd expect from a decent hotel. Not acceptable given the price. VERY noisy with pumps and pipes banging away all night. Don't stay here if you intend to get any sleep. Food was very good though. Service was quite good if not exceptional.

I Attended my friends Wedding here and I have to say it was one of best Weddings I have been too. Firstly I checked in and the room was a pleasant surprise as it was quite cheap I expected it to be very basic but it was quite the opposite, It was Luxurious and we had a great view of the countryside from our room. The service and the food was top class at the wedding. I have never seen a function room decorated so well there just seem to be so much attention to detail. The wedding went on till the early hours in the morning and I have had nothing but good things to say about this hotel and their Friendly Staff and would recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or if you were looking for a wedding venue as it was the best wedding I have ever attended and this was alot to to with the venue and their great staff. Great weekend.
