Highly recommend hotel kilmore for your special day my husband and I had our day on the 23rd July 22 and the wedding team went above and beyond for us from start to finish. The bridal suite is just fabulous and the food was amazing really can not fault the kilmore. Many thanks Mr & Mrs Smyth.

What can we say from start to finish the Kilmore's service was second to none. They kept us relaxed the whole day and as for our guests they couldn't compliment the hotel enough. Special shout to Mary and Paul who made sure the whole day run smoothly. An excellent hotel and an even better wedding venue. I'd highly recommend it ❤️ Mr & Mrs Flanagan.

I was recently doing a wedding in the Kilmore Hotel as a florist and the staff were very efficient and most helpful nothing was too much trouble.

It was a beautiful stay for two days on my own to find myself and clear my head. the fountain and the sunset was breathtaking. staff couldn't do enough for you and there 24/7 for you beautiful surroundings. will definitely be back. Thankyou so so much xx.

Where do we begin, we booked Hotel Kilmore when we first got engaged in 2016 and from then to now we couldn’t have asked for better. They were fantastic throughout, we originally had booked our wedding for 2020 and finally got married in June 2022. Nothing was too much — from changing dates, to queries or if we wanted something different, needed something changed nothing was a problem. Our food tasting was excellent, a beautiful experience from start to finish. A special thanks to Mary for all her help over the last number of months with all the planning & organising. ☺️ The day was perfect from start to finish — the wedding room was stunning, food was out of this world (every single guest commented on how superb the food was) and most importantly every single staff member was super friendly & professional. The bridal room was just beautiful, very luxurious. A big shout to Paul, Mary, Leanne & all the other staff that made our day run very smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with Hotel Kilmore and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Mr & Mrs O’Brien 🥂

Myself and Thomas got married on Saturday 19th February and we would have to say it was the best day ever. From start to finish, Paul and his team could not have done enough for us the whole weekend. The staff were brilliant and looked after everyone so well. The food was first class. All our guests complimented the food and how professional the staff were. A special thanks to Mary, our wedding coordinator, for been brilliant in making sure that everything was in order and that we had everything we wanted for our special day. Definitely 100% we would highly recommend the Kilmore hotel for your wedding. This definitely will be a weekend we will never forget. We got married 28-12-21 it simply was the best day ever. Paul & his team couldn’t do enough for us throughout the day every staff member was Fantastic. The food was just amazing guests had a fantastic day bridal room & guests rooms where simply stunning. 10/10 from us we would highly recommend The Hotel Kilmore for your special day.

We couldn't recommend the Hotel Kilmore more for any couples looking to have their wedding here! We had originally postponed from 2020 to 2021 and throughout the whole process the staff could not have been more accommodating, understanding and helpful. Leading up to the day we were so well supported by all staff and on the day itself we were treated like royalty! All of our guests commented on the excellent and friendly service provided and they all thought the food was amazing! Thank you to all the staff of the Hotel Kilmore for giving us such a wonderful experience on our wedding day! Continued success to you all!

We had our wedding reception at the hotel on the 20th December 2021, we had originally booked our wedding for the 4th December 2020 but had to but it back because of covit, the hotel wedding team and management were amazingly supportive and help in any way the could to make the new date possible. On the day of our wedding we we're amazed at how smoothly everything ran the staff we're so friendly and helpful to all our guests and the food was out of this world all out guests past comment on how it was one of the best meals they have had. Hotel Kilmore went above and beyond for us and we are so glad we chose to have our wedding with them ❤ 💕

Had the take away dinner today and it was fab.
it's nice to get dinner handed to you at the end of the week without the cooking. Plenty in each serving.

We recently had our wedding at Hotel Kilmore during the pandemic. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough, staff were brilliant and we had the most amazing day. They were so helpful and accommodating 5star.

My sister recently had her wedding at this hotel & although it was in the middle of a pandemic they went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great wkend. Food & staff were amazing & rooms are so beautiful. Would deffiently recommend this hotel & will deffiently be booking again. Kim & the whole kilmore team are brilliant.

Stayed there for a wedding recently and it was brilliant. Staff so polite and helpful. Rooms were lovely. Shower best I’ve seen in any hotel. Very relaxing atmosphere food was fabulous at the wedding and also breakfast and lunch next day was excellent. Highly recommend it.

We had our wedding here in September. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldnt have done for us. We were able to get ready in the bridal suite as one of the bridesmaids was allergic to our pets. Everyone had a fantastic night. Food was amazing and the hotel helped with any and all extras we could have asked for. Would recommend it for anyone getting married.

This hotel is fantastic can’t recommend it enough. We celebrated our wedding reception here on the 14th Sept 2019 and well what can I say everything was just perfect from start to finish. The food and service we received on our special day was just excellent its an absolute credit to all. Great prices all year. Bedrooms are comfortable with fantastic shower. Great location just outside Cavan, easily walkable or get a bus or the taxi is €8. Really is a great base for a wide range of outdoor activities and the renowned trout lake, Lough Sheelin is about 30 minutes drive. Really friendly staff and good choice of nice, tasty food.

Would highly recommend the Kilmore for anyone who is looking for a wedding day to remember. All the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The attention to detail was incredible. Anything you asked they could do with no hesitation. Kim the wedding CoOrdinator was constantly emailing back and forward updating details and always at the end of the phone when needed. Kim and Meagan on the lead up to the big day made us feel at ease that everything would run smoothly (which it did). The food was top class. The was no shortage of food. We went for an add on of chips for the tables and this went down a huge treat. Everyone from our wedding is talking about the food. I couldnt recommend the Kilmore enough it really just made our day unforgettable. You CANNOT pass the Kilmore.

This is a great hotel. It is modern, comfortable and in a great place. The staff were brilliant and when I left something behind me, they went as far as to post it to me. I will be back.

We recently had our wedding here and WOW! First of all a massive Thank You to Paul Henry and all your team. From the minute we met with you and your amazing team you all could not do enough for us. Noting was ever to much trouble and you went above and beyond for us so thank you. To Kim for all your help with everything. The endless emails back and forward making sure all was in order and all ran smoothly on the day. To the chefs and all the kitchen staff Thank You. The food… was OUTSTANDING! Still to this day we have had so many compliments about the food. To all the floor staff, bar staff, housekeeping and all the girls on reception thank you for all your hard work it did not go unnoticed. We also had our second day here in the Brackley Suite and WOW! Paul again you went above and beyond for us and it was amazing. The BBQ everyone is still talking about the AMAZING food we had. We will forever be grateful to you Paul and your amazing team for making our wedding day truly so special and memorable. We would highly recommend the Hotel Kilmore to anyone who is planning their wedding or a special occasion. You will not be disappointed! We look forward to returning to this fabulous hotel. Gorgeous setting, great food and well trained staff. We attended a friend's wedding here and were amazed at how comfortable and welcome you felt. We were treated by a glorious sun to a fantastic view out the front of the hotel, but treated even better by the young and well trained staff. On top of that the beef main course was phenomenal. Looking forward to going back!

Easy accessible by public transport. Taxi from the Cavan bus station can be around 6-8€. There is no lift at this hotel. The rooms are nice and comfortable, but for the quality, this hotel can be pricey. The restaurant does not offer a good selection of healthy veggie/vegan menu. In fact, I had food poisoning at this hotel and the staff did not do anything about it.

Dinner for 40 people. Efficient service. Good food. Friendly staff.

Very happy with the food, drink and service we received as a large group dining in the restaurant. The triple chocolate desert was sumptuous. The rest of the bar was very busy and lively and gave a great impression. Many thanks!

A favourite, outside Cavan town with lovely surroundings and ample parking. Ideal for a cosy drink or dinner catering for small or large groups, it's a popular wedding venue. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.

Excellent, stay here on business for a local client, always get the exec rooms. Best hotel I'm very stayed in over the last 2 /3 years. Great staff, welcoming and attentive. Great facilities though not used all of them. Only 5 minutes walk to my client.

Very cozy entrance lounge with open fire and comfy seats. Good service from friendly staff. Food is always good, very consistent standard and very reasonable prices. Wide selection of beers and wines too. Newly extended also.

Beautiful hotel with fabulous outdoor features that would be perfect for wedding pictures. This hotel was hosting a Food + Craft Christmas Fair and it was well worth a visit. We had our tea in the lounge with the bar food. We opted for wraps, bagels served with fries and salad and they were tasty. Service was very good despite the hotel being extremely busy. Plenty of advertising about upcoming events. A lovely hotel and will definitely call again.

Five weeks ago we got married here and to say it was the best day of our lives is an understatement. The staff were amazing especially the manager Paul, the food was to die for and service was def 5 star. Beautiful hotel highly recommend.

Great rooms, great service, great staff. Need to buy better irons for guests though. I requested an iron and ironing board and got the worlds cheapest iron to use, expected more from such a nice hotel. Still deserves a 5 star review however, had a great time here.

“Disappointing for the €370 paid for a single night, breakfast did help my mood in the morning. ” One room was superb. Spacious, bright, excellent view, great shower room, bottled water, decent Wi-Fi, quiet. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly and obviously told to make sure guests had as much to eat as desired. The second room was the opposite of the first, small, dark, grim decor, view of the car park, no water, shower not functioning correctly, cold water tap not working correctly, slow Wi-Fi. Hugely disappointed with the quality of this room especially after seeing what was available with the other. Also, this room was in another wing of the hotel meaning I had to share with one child whilst my wife stayed with the other two (usually the two boys would share but they were too far away for us to be comfortable) which was just as well as another guest banged on the door after midnight and there were a few doors banging around 4 am which would have scared my younger son. The €20 difference in rooms is laughable, make sure you find out which type of room you are booking.

All credit to the manager and staff, the hotel was spotless the staff friendly and professional. The meals were excellent and serviing by the waiters was off a high standard. I enjoyed my stay there, and will return in the future.

Dining in the Kilmore is a great experience. They can always be relied upon to serve excellent food and the free side order with each meal ensures nobody goes home hungry.

Actually just OK. Dinner for 6 Wed 14 june. Service was poor, first server needs a reflect on whether she likes her job or not. Manager was attentive. Food was OK, really nothing special. Have had great food and service in the past, very disappointed with this visit. W.

It is a 5 star hotel pretending to be a 3 star! This is a solid hotel in terms of service, coziness and quality of rooms. To these will soon be added full high end amenities with the significant extension being undertaken. It's location just outside Cavan town makes it very attractive for business conference in the region & once the spa becomes established it'll be near on impossible to get rooms here in spring & summer. The cuisine — in late Jan 2017 — did not unfortunately leave a great impression beyond of course the most hearty portion size but it was certainly adequate.
