Fabulous hotel. Staff go out of their way to help and are so friendly. Rooms are fabulous bar food is really good and the leisure facilities are great for kids… will definately be back.

Absolute shambles of a hotel. Expected a lot more for the expense. We were woken by repetitive banging on the door from staff looking to clean the room at 10am. To be told there is a do not disturb sign in our room and that they assume most people are up at that time. We rang room service at 10:30am to request two soft drinks only to be told the bar wasn’t open. We also asked for breakfast to the room at the same time but found it wasn’t possible as it ended at 10am. The following morning we rang at 9am to request breakfast to the room and were informed that it had to be booked the previous night! On arriving we wanted to book various spa treatments but booking wasn’t available to it opened the next morning but they are readily available. Phoned the next morning to be told there was none available and settled for a slot in the swimming pool instead. We got a half an hour slot asked to leave when our 30 mins was up. Paid an extra €50 for a “deluxe” sea view room with a flat screen tv. It was the size of a computer monitor and the window wasn’t much bigger. The guest lucky enough to be in the pool had a better view of us in our room than we did of the sea. The list goes on. Such a shame giving the location. There’s a campsite opposite the hotel. Take your chances with it instead.

Terrible place to work. Wages are always wrong. Managers are quite nasty.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings the food is excellent and the staff are more than friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean which was very reassuring at this time due to the covid 19 virus. Really made me feel welcome and safe. I will definitely be back again in the future and discover more to enjoy in this beautiful part of the country.

The new refurbished rooms are lovely, staff couldn’t be more helpful and the food was delicious. Once again my full body massage and botanical bath was so refreshing, I came away from Eros spa feeling super relaxed. The pool was opened, but you needed to book in and had a half hour swim then the whole place was sanitised for the next session, all government guidelines where been successfully followed. Well done to all the staff I’ll definitely be back. And would recommend to anyone, couples, groups or families.

Stayed 4 night. Really enjoyed our stay. Ladies in the restaurant fantastic. Nothing a problem. Food very good. And very seldom if ever I would say that. To sum it up. We'll be back.

All the staff were so attentive. Made you feel special. Mairead in the dining room, sails her ship to perfection. Loved it and will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our midweek stay, wed until Sat. Staff so friendly, food delicious, rooms clean and tidy. Asked front desk for towels and within two minutes a knock at our room door and pleasant young man holding an armful of fluffy white towels! Dining room staff unbelievable, couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful location, family friendly hotel — kids had a great time — however very disappointed we couldn’t get a booking for our complimentary seaweed bath, complimentary main course in restaurant wasn’t edible and no complimentary wine as promised. I mentioned the issue with the food on departure, no comment was made. Shame as it’s a beautiful location to have a hotel. Country club is run down and dirty.

Staff were lovely nothing was to much reception staff, bar/waiting staff, cleaning staff and the spa staff hats of to a great working team which made our stay in the lovely hotel very relaxing.

I am currently staying in the Yeats hotel with my Mam. This is out 3/4time staying And I can honestly say that from the staff on reception right through to the house cleaning staff we have received a great welcome. It is the hotel that welcomes you with open arms. I hope it never changed, we have enough shiney tile hotels but only one Yeats. Thank you.

What a spectacular hotel! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome, smiles and they made a big deal about our little girl! Room was spacious, clean and warm. No matter which room you are in you have a view of the sea of golf course! Leisure centre was lovely, water was warm and everything was clean. We had dinner in the restaurant was one of the nicest dinners we had and kids menu was perfect. Breakfast was simple but tasty and plentiful, freshly cooked eggs was a treat! Everything was just perfect. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough! And Rosses point is one of the nicest places to visit. We will definitely be back again!

The hotel externally is beautiful. But it stops there. It really needs some love and attention inside. … I could not fault the staff though they were warm and would do any requests that I asked. We did not use the spa pool area. It also needs updating and maintenance done to it. This hotel sits on prime land and the views and walks are fantastic. Yeats would have something to say I am sure of how its run! I could see no leadership in the hotel staff. No management were visible. Food was a disappointment but in fairness no were near as bad as the golf club across the road.

We stayed 2 nights. Food is good and dinner is served quickly. Views fantastic. Rooms clean and bed very comfortable. The only bad thing was that the hotel was under going renovations. We were not advised of this at the time of booking. However, staff we friendly and in spite of the renovations the hotel was clean. Great walks nearby.

This hotel is located in perfect location. I spent weekend here with my wife and enjoyed it. Went to the spa which was amazing and then had dinner with few drinks. There was also live music. This hotel is great starting point for adventures as there's so many things to do around Sligo.

Shared a twin room on the ground floor with my sister and the room n beds were very clean but there was no blinds on the windows. The staff were lovely and the food was very nice. However the swimming pool was filthy… absolutely disgusting. This problem would need to be addressed IMMEDIATELY there are no excuses for this.

Just returned from a stay at the hotel having stayed numerous times before and always had a wonderful time with friendly staff and the ambience of the place itself. Sadly this time I was disappointed. Firstly having confirmed the booking which included a seaweed bath or one of the other therapies available. On the morning of day one I went to make a booking to discover no receptionist but an notice to leave your name and number and they would make contact. But some hour's later returned to the the treatment area to be told they were full booked out short staffed and hadn't even got time to contact anyone to let them know. I was speaking to the receptionist in the hotel and mention how disappointed I was she went on to say when you confirm your booking your better off mention the treatment you require! Surely they should check before including it in the price if it's not available? Secondly on day two the breakfast was cold. Sadly while I enjoy the ambience the standard seems to have slipped. Hopefully it can get back to the level which I enjoyed previously.

Quiet getaways, this place is ideal. Food and spa was nice. Cheap getaway. Rooms are massive, good view. Rooms bit dated and place really for the retired age group. I went in March so could be different in summer months.

Old hotel serving the traveller & community for a long time. Nice hotel, lovely little bar, superb bedrooms. BUT… the food has a lot to be desired. We had bar food & had to send back 2 out of 3 dishes. The replacement dishes were not much better. The following day we ate in the restaurant. Fresh cod (tasteless), Pasta (bland) & stew (yummy) with mash (supposed to be champ). My advice for the chef is to read his own menu & my advice for you is to eat in the golf club across the road.

God hotel, staff friendly food good. Spa is great for all sorts of treatment. Parts could do with updating, but it's on going as some rooms have been done.

The beds are comfy. The view is good but the pool if dirty the breakfast is OK (don't even have beans) their pizza is just normal bread the gym equipment is so old but the price is bad. (not good either) oh ya they don't even have mugs. Won't be coming back unless I have to…

So relaxing very laid back atmosphere. The food is really good and value for money.

We never stayed here before but on arrival the reception staff made us very welcome. She was very polite and friendly. Our room was large, beautiful, comfortable and clean. The staff working the bars and restaurant were wonderful. Helpful and courteous and offer a smile. Food… well there was a variety and it represented value for money and was tasty however I wouldnt agree with the fine dining added to their restaurant. Situated in a wonderful position overlooking the Wild Atlantic with lots of things to do. A nice leisure complex too. I wouldnt hesitate to return to this venue.

I am staying at Yeats for the third time and it never fails to impress me. Nothing is to much for the staff. I had my Mam with me and she needed a wheelchair accessible room. The room is cleaned to the highest standards. We love the hotel.

Hotel is well presented… well located but does not cater at all well for coeliac / Gluten free guests. One item on whole menu suited to coeliac … not good in modern hospitality.

Really enjoyed my stay great pool and spa also very friendly staff and great location and only a short walk to the beach.

Very friendly staff, rooms are spacious and clean very comfortable. Breakfast was served buffet style self service and was beautiful with a huge variety from which to choose from. Food in the bar was delicious with quick service and the restaurant food equally as good. My ultimate draw to the Yeats Country Hotel was it's seaweed baths pure luxury highly recommend. They also provide Entertainment every night and are very child friendly so if you want a break from it all and fancy a bit of luxury and relaxation for a bargain price Its the place for you.

I did stay here for night comfortable old style hotel. The scenery more outstanding than anything else Neil.

Terrible shower in our room. Musicians although very good spent more time checking in ie. 1 2 1 2 than the length of time they played. Wasn't impressed with spa this time in relax rooms not enough water, no milk no sugar bitter satsumas beds not made up after last client magazines untidy cobwebs in windows blinds need updated. I love usually but sloppy this time.

Spent a week here. Food excellent. Staff wonderful. Hotel decor a little dated but very clean. Our bedroom very big with two king size beds .

We both love walking and the staff were very helpful printing out different walking routes in the surrounding area for us
We had a b& b package and it was very reasonable
The bars nearby were very good

Food good. Rooms are nice and clean. Reception staff nice and efficient. Dining room staff are a bit under pressure particularly at breakfast. But the biggest let down is the cleanliness of the pool and locker area. It doesn't open until 8am weekdays and 9am Sundays so no chance of a swim before breakfast as breakfast finishes at 10am.

My major gripe would be the musty smell of the place which looks like it comes from the carpet when you enter (although you do get used to it). There was a lot of families when we were here and all seemed to be enjoying themselves. This is in a beautiful part of the country and if you are just looking for a place to put the head down this will suffice. Bedroom was just OK and you could see it could do with a little bit of work.

Amazing place did a fr Ted murder mystery there last December it was deadly.

Spent st valentines day in yeats country hotel food was verry poor On sunday night we were famished with the cold in the dining room and bar area, its a pity because it is located in a beautiful area All was not bad we had a beautiful experiance in the spa area. All staff were verry friendly and helpfull.

We love the yeats hotel, yes its a bit tired and dated but you complain about the location. Food is decent, rooms are a good size and warm, pool is nice and warmer than average.

Stayed in my fair share ofIrish hotels and this ranks the lowest. The hotel is old and unkept, beds are uneven and the breakfast is poor. I wouldn't mind if the hotel charged a price representative of its stature but we could have stayed somewhere a lot nicer and comfortable for the price. Awful.

We have taken our 4 children here every year for the past 6 years and we all love our stay. The staff, food, entertainment has always been fantastic. Can't wait for our next stay!

We just retured from the Yates County Hotel It is the worst hotel we ever visit. Staff very unfriendly. Our deal was 2 nights B&B plus an 3 course meal. A seaweed bath. We booked our baths well in advance But just before it was dew the spa rang to defer it to a later time that did not suit us as we had plans. We got no baths. We went to have our 3 course meal it was alright. But as we checked today we were charged €25 each for starter and desserts The girls on the desk were not prepared to listen that the it was a 3 course meal and insisted on the charge of €25 each My comment stay away. Rip Off Hotel.

We checked in at 915pm, asked for a sandwich as we had a 4 year old with us. Told at reception food finished even though chef was standing at reception, all we wanted was a sandwich and maybe portion of chips. My son had to eat crisps and sweets that he got in a machine in the bar. Other people checked in after 9pm during or stay there and they were told the same. Sorry very bad policy if you are a resident you should be able to get some kind of food after 9pm at night. There was plenty of staff on duty. Food very poor as we had dinner there one njght, I had stir fry duck which was noodles that was over cooked and stir fry of veg was onions and courgettes. Our bedroom was ok, we found baby food under our bed, thankfully it was sealed. Over all staff very friendly and helpful, but not worth the money we paid, very disappointed as it was the start of our holidays.

Not the friendless staff I have met, Had to wait over an hour for room to be ready, when I got there there was one large towel for three people and none in otherwise room. A lot of dust in one room. When I said it to cleaning staff the weren't a bit bothered The two nites cost me for 5 people € 595. Why over prices for the rooms. Very grubby and unloved. I call down to spa beautiful. Pity this wasn't echoed around the hotel. Very disappointed. We will not be coming again. Such a pity because it has a beautiful view. : (.

I visited this lovely hotel at the end of june and I got a great deal. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious especially breakfast with all the delicious fruit that was available. The rooms were spacious, fresh and clean and I had a great view of the lough and the little islands It really is a beautiful location. I had a seaweed bath as part of my deal and I also got an indian head massage for a little extra. The therapists were very kind and excellent at their job and I would recommend the spa to everyone, very relaxing. Excellent leisure centre also. I'l definitely be going back.

This review is actually for the Eros Spa! My husband and I scheduled massages and had the pleasure of meeting Carmen. Not only is she a wonderful massage therapist, but she went above and beyond in helping us with a problem unrelated to the spa! We were traveling all over Ireland and The Yeats Country Hotel was our last stop before heading home. Carmen will forever be remembered as a very caring and kind person! Thank you Carmen, if you ever find yourself traveling anywhere near Philadelphia, please let us return the favor! :).

My name is helen, I got a present of a 2 nite break in dis hotel, it cost my sister 328 euro, I checked on line for availability, there was plenty of rooms available, when I rang to book the break away, I was met by a very rude unhelpful person on d other end, who told me der was no weekends available, only Sunday and Monday nites, even doh der website said der was. So if u avail of an offer and pay in advance be careful because day will try bully u into a break dat suits them not one dat suits you. How would you enjoy your stay in a hotel dat treats there customers so badly. They had there money already so they didnt care. Shame on u and ur staff, Totall disgusted, irish tourism.

It was my second time and I have to say I had bad experience with that hotel this time. We arrived at 3pm and room wasn't ready yet. Room very cold. I slept with my clothes on. My nightwear was all the time in my bag as was to cold to wear it. Staff in restaurant very slow and not good customer service. We have to wait to order our dinner like 30min and we could forget about desert as you need to wait another 30min or more to order Staff not friendly at all. During breakfast I saw 3 staff members but on one on the floor, all staff in the kitchen, we couldn't order tea and coffee to have together with out breakfast. After my second visit Iam sure I wont go back there soon.
