Just back from a fab weekend in Strandhill and in the beautiful spacious, comfortable and spotless room in Strandhill Lodge. The staff so friendly and welcoming, the location perfect for beach walks and nearby restaurants, bars and seaweed baths. Will definitely be returning again 🙂

We've stayed twice at the suites and have had a lovely stay on both occasions. Thank you to the staff who were all a pleasure to deal with!

Very friendly staff, very clean room lovely view of the bay, continental breakfast great, loads of choice. Close to Strandhill beach & local pubs & other amenities. Highly recommend to stay here.

Beautiful spot. Room is excellent. Spotlessly clean and with everything needed for a great stay. Views over the beach and golf club are stunning. Great pub close by that I’ll try out this evening

Hotel etwas außerhalb von Sligo. Großes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück. Ausstattung im Zimmer sehr gut, sogar eine Nespresso Maschine vorhanden. Betten sehr bequem, Zimmer war sauber.

Eines der wenigen Hotel in dem wir ein wirklich grosses Zimmer hatten. Einrichtung in Ordnung, das Bett war aber doch ziemlich klein. Am Zimmer gab es eine Nespressomaschine. Es gab ein kontinentales Frühstücksbuffet, mit zwei verschiedenen Käsesorten, Schinken, verschiedenen Broten, verschiedene Teesorten, Kaffee zum selbernehmen, Joghurt und Früchte.

We would highly recommend staying at Strandhill Lodge and Suites, the place is so clean, comfortable and friendly. So central to beach, bars, restaurants and coffee shop. We would definitely stay again.

Great location near Sligo and the beach down at Strandhill. Cute and easy walk to the beach with restaurants and cafes awaiting you. Friendly and helpful employees. Comfortable rooms.

May have well stayed at a motorway service. No sole, not great service, food was not great, breakfast is just buffet of cold stuff with a toast maker,, all in I would not stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the hotel is well located and the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and was continental.

We had a lovely stay here with sea view room views were amazing room was so relaxing the girl on reception as very helpful she reccomended the Venue for dinner which was excellent. Breakfast at the lodge was diferent as when im away I look forward to the full irish but this was so nice and above all healthy. Cleanness hospitality & location 5* I would highly reccomend.

This is a welcome change to tired b&bs or pretentious hotels! The rooms are A1 quality fittings thoughtful inclusions ie an electric fan and coffee machine. Very nicely appointed breakfast space with everything for the fussy traveller. Courteous and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Just a very pretty and beautiful place sand sea and casino lol two pubs that both do great food. A ice cream parlour that just ouzes fantastic flavours. Walk walk walk to see the beautiful scenery you are surrounding by. Great tent, caravans and mobile homes site not dear but not cheap either.

First time staying here but would recommend it to anyone Friendly attentive staff, very spacious rooms comfortable beds with everything you need and more. Normally im a full irish when I stay away but the continental breakfast was lovely even had boiled eggs and no shortage from fruit to smoked salmon. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at Strandhill Lodge and Suites at least 4 times times and it's now our first place of choice when wanting to go to Sligo. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and pleasant with the facilities being comfortable and relaxing. One major, positive difference that people will find, is how the staff at Strandhill Lodge quite happily and genuinely recommend other businesses in the local community. A culture that seems to spread amongst the community with each business helping each other. Possibly an excellent practice that many other Towns and Cities could learn from in todays challlenging economy. Looking forward to our next trip hopefully in the not too distant future (not to mention the complimentary Haribos at the check in desk! ). Well down the the staff and management for running an excellent establishment.

First time here and was meet and greet by the day manager, then was shown to our ground floor patio room, which I may say was perfectly clean and fresh, the rooms are well stocked with everything you may need i. E. Coffee, tea etc and the most friendly hotel I've stayed in for years.

Nice clean, comfy accommodation with stunning views out across the ocean. The breakfast is fantastic even without the full cooked options. Staff are all friendly and helpful with great local knowledge. I would suggest popping next door to the Venue for dinner — great menu and all food is cooked to order. I am here on business and will be sure to book in again.

What a find! The girlfriend and I wanted a quite weekend away from the city and Strandhill was perfect. The hotel is super with good sized, comfortable rooms and a lovely view out of the bay. David, the manager couldn't do enough for us and was excellent at organising activites such as fishing, surfing, seaweed baths (a must! ) and dinners (high quality steaks and sea food). All in all a great hotel in the perfect location.
