It seemsy moderately pleasant, if missing some basics. Some sandwiches and basic snacks could make this resting place amenable and lucrative indeed… or it could just stay as it is, and was 30 years ago! Nil abu!
A really comfortable cosy rural pub with a great mixture of young and old and always good craic at weekend.

The room was great in general.
In a pretty remote location but we were aware of that, however it is on one of the fastest stretches of road we have experienced while in Ireland.
It is over priced for the facilities provided.
The main issue was that the Buffet Breakfast in fact was not just self service but self prepare as well!
That is if you were prepared to use the kitchen area that was left (after use by other residents the previous evening) covered in dirty plates, glasses, bottles and food waste!
Other niggling things only half a toilet roll, only one bedside light with a bulb.
The bar area was as described a Sport Bar and busy with mainly with locals this closed at about 00;30 hrs but in the upper area where room were located it was quite noisy with returning inmates well into the mot so early hours.
It is a shame the idea if the place is good but it is a work in progress, maybe the undertakers side of the business works better, I suppose there would be no need of toilet roll or light bulbs on that side of things.
