Stay here for 2 nights the staff were lovely, a special mention to Maire, Conor and Hassan that work across in your hotel next door fantastic staff, I also visited the hair dresser and the owener is lovely we can’t wait to go back and spend more time at your hotel, keep up the good work x.

Couldn't ask for any more as a guest will definitely be back unreal food, great location 5⭐ for me.

Lovely hotel minutes from the town, nice buzz in the hotel with friendly staff, nice food & comfortable rooms, stayed a few times before for a couple of days each time to get away & chill, will. Definitely return again. 🤪

Just home from an amazing 3day break… fantastic from Start to finish. Can't recommend enough.

We have spent the last three nights at this hotel. Located in the centre of Westport it is just a few steps away from shops, bars and restaurants. Our room (529) was booked under the silver experience. Not only very spacious with ample sitting areas it had two balconies and a huge bathroom including a shower and jacuzzi bath. The first night the shower door became loose and when reported to reception we were immediately offered another room. We declined as Fiona (lovely receptionist) assured us it would be fixed whilst we had breakfast the next morning. True to their word, the door was fixed and a box of chocolates delivered to our room (a lovely gesture)! Coveys restaurant proved to be of exceptional standard-from the staff, the varied menu and the quality of the food. Our booking entitled us to two evening meals and we had planned to dine in one of the restaurants in Westport on the third night. Because of the choice and standard of the food in Coveys we decided to dine there again for our last night in Westport and we weren’t disappointed. Dinner was fantastic… Service fantastic. Boris is an amazing asset and Peter was a close second.

Actually stayed at The Castlecourt but had afternoon tea here which was lovely and had dinner in Covenys Bar, food was fab and staff were so efficient and friendly.

We loved the Covey Restaurant. The service is impeccable, all the staff is so friendly and professional. Although I can not eat dairy products, I was able to enjoy a complete meal as they were very happy to customise the dishes, which makes a huge difference to my usual restaurant experience.
If you are staying at the hotel you must give it a try. Food is delicious and elegant interior.

Great service. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The food was always hot and fresh and the soup was amazing (definitely worth tasting). The kids enjoyed the forest walks and the play area at the back of the hotel. Online booking was very convenient and checking in and out was very quick. Will definitely be staying here again next time we visit westport.

Coming here for 17 years! Beds comfy pillows too. Rooms are spotless. Food delicious. Staff are so kind and always so willing to help — and all with a big smile. The go kids clubs are just a brilliant bonus. Westport town — so calm and peaceful. Pubs are fanastic. Music everywhere. We just love it here!

Nice family hotel, very welcoming staff. Close to Westport town and Westport woods. Nice food and great breakfast. Rooms were spacious, if a bit tired looking. All in all nice stay for the family. Recommended.

Good hotel. Great staff. Rooms a bit dated and bed a bit small. Food fab. Pool and gym are great and spa is amazing with the best deals and offers. I had a seaweed bath and loved it. Kids had a great time although they where not too happy with the "kids club". Playground could use updating my toddler wanted to play on the frame but it was too dangerous and hard for him to climb alone. It says free Wi-Fi but it didn't work at all. For the price I payed I would expect a little better quality in most things and I think family rooms should be bigger. Not just be a regular room with a cot and sofa bed thrown in.

We were here staying for for 6 days recently. It was our fourth year in a row. The hotel and staff are fabulous. I can highly recommend this place. Everything was perfect. The staff were outstanding when needed and I can't thank them all enough for their help.

Very enjoyable stay in Westport Woods. Staff very helpful and friendly and were fantastic when we could not travel home because of the snow. They gave us a very good rate for the two extra nights we had to stay.

Me and my fiance came for dinner, we had a voucher for a 4 course meal. We were welcomed and the voucher was presented and accepted but after that we weren't very well informed as to what we were inclined to. The menu was sparse and boring. We both got the tomato soup which was bland and then my fiance being a vegetarian got the only option which was pasta and tomato sauce, it was overcooked and the sauce was the same as the soup. I got the chicken which had a nice sauce but that was it it came with mash and a small extra potato which was horrible. Service was also unprofessional, out waitresses seemed untrained and very shy. After this we got up and left after paying for our whine. I'm glad we had a voucher because I wouldn't have payed for that meal.

Stayed here with the kids. Firstly it took about 15 minutes to check in, and we were the only ones there. Receptionist was busy answering the phone constantly, under-staffed I'd say. Went for breakfast this morning at 8 am. There was no staff there until after 08:05, also hot food wasn't ready until a while after. Buffet breakfast was a bit disappointing which included pale orange juice and scones that were not fresh. Went for lunch elsewhere today and came back to the hotel for dessert, once again disappointed here. I ordered apple pie and my wife ordered Key Lime pie. I had to go to the bar after waiting for 20 minutes to be told that there was no key lime pie or apple pie. There was a rigmarole getting the money back for one of the desserts. Bad management at this hotel ensures it's a let down. It's a nice hotel but poorly run. Should be on Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Why put food on a brand new menu and then not have it available?

Really nice staff. Professional and polite. Asked for a room upgrade. (10 year wedding anniversary) got one but it was just a room with an extra double bed?! Don't want to sound ungrateful. But there are nicer rooms which I know we're empty. Anyway… Price was very very reasonable. Rooms were clean. Free Wi-Fi. Couple of tiles missing from bathroom, no big deal. Very nice swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Gym was decent. All in all, a nice place. I recommend.

Breakfast was cold they were kept warm by t lights. Stayed two nights dinner was beautiful but on second night never slept from noise in bathroom behind mirror. Had it reported to duty officer and while she was in the room she also heard it she was shocked also. I have to give Receptionist 5 she was very helpful and welcoming.

I really enjoyed the experience here. The staff really was so friendly and helpful. Such an amazing menu set out for our tour group, I had to lick my finger (metaphorical). Helped me sending my post cards too.

Had my wedding here in June 2017. What an amazing venue. My wedding co-ordinator Seamus was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much. The day ran soo smoothly I did not have to worry about anything seamus had all in hand. The staff were extremly efficent and friendly. Cannot recommend joanne Seamus and all the staff at Westport Woods highly enough some of our guests actually have booked to go back for weekend breaks already!

We used the pool facilities with our two year old son, he loved it and we loved it. Staff were very helpful and our son had a ball playing in the pool with the local children.

Great place to stay, very friendly staff and great service. If you are going for a hike to croagh patrick like I was this is the perfect location as it is close to city and to the hike as well.

Very family run and friendly hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Great kids club but food in restaurant can be hit or miss and service can be slow at times. Other than that it's a great hotel for families and location good also.

Just back ftom westport woods my wife and I and two kids First I noticed front enterence was how clean it was. We checked in with rec And straight to the room Get this 3 queen ann chairs 1 bed 1 ft 1 pul out Mattress was the best I had ever Food and wine excellent Simpley go there.

Central Westport midprice hotel with a nice bar, numerous TVs, good food, regular music and friendly staff.

Mediocre, the room only partially clean, the room door was open when we came back in the afternoon! A waiter in the Bar was nice, but pretty messy. Food was good, use of the swimming pool, with peculiar Rules! Children under 16 (! ) must be accompanied by an adult into the water. In the Yakuzzi you are not allowed, swimming cap, you will be showered when Leaving the shower again… Also, as a mother, you are not allowed to take photos of his own children…

We love it here. We have been this summer and last summer. Kids club is brilliant gives mom and dad a good break. Food is to die for. There was a small mix up with the room and the management sorted it quickly and gave us a drink on the house, now that's what I call service. The bar man Rossy is underutilised, he is a font of knowledge when it comes to alcohol and cocktails. I think he could create a fantastic cocktail menu for any bar. He was a joy to chat to and made us some of the nicest cocktails ever. We will be back every summer.

Fab wedding location, outdoor drinks reception was gorgeous and really laid back. Food very good and service impeccable. Very clean.

We were on our Trip through Ireland, a total of 7 different mid-range hotels and this one we liked best. The location in the middle of the Green is very nice, the facility is clean and well maintained, our standard room was large and comfortable, with views of the garden, the bathroom was also nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. From the Hotel one arrives in ten. Minutes to walk to the Promenade in the Bay, the city you prefer to drive, because it goes steeply uphill. The Breakfast room/Restaurant is decorated like a high bright Atrium with views of the garden, very nice! The Breakfast is good, but a little room for expansion, the hot chocolate and Porridge, you should not order extra and still have to pay! Otherwise, highly recommended.

Great location in a beautiful woodland settings close to the Westport Harbour. We visited the Bar and had breakfast in the morning and the food was nice but the staff were slightly unpleasant.

Ideal location for visiting Westport and the surrounding area. Comfortable good size bedrooms, friendly staff, car parking.

We went for a weekend away, at the time of booking it didn't sound like it was going to be a good hotel as service wasn't great over the phone. When we arrived they staff were really helpful. They even gave us a delux room instead of a standard room. Breakfast was Inc and it was lovely. Had a lovely weekend away.

Not invalidity friendly at all.

I'm not one for leaving bad report's, but on this occasion I think there's a need for it, myself and my family went for a swim in the pool were we have been 4 or5 times and love it absolutely no problem there, at the pool one of the staff members said if you want to have lunch up at the hotel you will get the swim free of charge, so up we went for lunch after the swim, into the bar we went were we had to go looking for a staff member to order food, which waiting on the food one of the kids needed to use the toilet which had no toilet paper in it plenty on the floor but not for use again had to go looking for a staff member which while my son was still in the toilet, at this point my blood was starting to boil, the food had arrived at this point and I sat down, looking at my son's burger it had been deep fried, chicken nuggets burned, the food wfoosball disgrace so I went looking for the man who took the order and pointed out to him the problem, and all he could do was smile, to cut a long story short no body seams to give a shit once they get paid at the end of the week, I blame the management which were no were to be found, this was the last week in July this year.

A very good weekend rooms clean and very spacious. Staff very friendly would go back again.
