The Western Citypoint Apartments Apartment

They are the worst hotel I have ever dealt with. They have no customer service skills. They have taken 210 euro from my account and will not give it back to me. I have my cancellation email from booking. Com and had no problem paying the 210 euro but not the second 210 euro which they took and will not give back to me. No one should give them business. I am very very annoyed and will not let them get away with this.

These self catering apartments are fantastic and ideal for a family with kids so clean and you have your own private parking and very secure and safe. Will definately be staying here again. Highly recommended these apartments.

Staff were nice. 640 Euro for 2 nights and a 250 deposit and didn't even get breakfast is a bit much doh.

Absolutely fabulous, great location and spotless.

During a previous stay at the citypoint apartments myself and my boyfriend were treated very respectfully and had a lovely stay. Unfortunately during the week I stayed here with a group of girls (4 in total). The male receptionist was ridiculously rude and patronising to us. He continuously told us how we would be asked to leave if there would be noise complaints. Told us we have to 'leave the party down town Girls don't bring it back to the apartment' he said the night P…orter would be on and he would he checking who would be coming in/out of the apartment. This ridiculous patronising lecture went on and he even repeated telling us how they have asked people to leave before due to the noise level complaints. It didn't stop there. He said if anything happened to the apartment or any complaints there would be a penalty taken out of the €250 deposit! We were obviously being treated like Party Raven lunatics because we were two girls in our 20's … I was so angry and discussed how we were talked down-to, lectured and almost threatened to be on good behaviour. It's 100% not on! I will also add the sinks in the apartment had no plug just an open drain. When we moved the bed it had obviously never been cleaned as it was horrific the rubbish and filth under it. Extremely unhappy with how we were spoken too.

Absolutely love this apartment never seeing anything nicer, lovely views of galway city and so relaxing I highly recommend the western hotel.

Accomodation is good but the security deposit is completely unnecessary. Upon arrival we were charged 250€ of a 'security deposit' which I was informed was normal procedure. However while talking to another guest (mother with children) she had not been charged this 250€ deposit. Why is it different rules for different groups of people? Was it because we were four young woman? I feel it was completely unnecessary to charge ya this amount. When we checked out we had to wait 10m…inutes for our apartment to be 'inspected'. We all felt like we were being treated like irresponsible adults. Too make matters worse my friend had the 250€ deposit in her purse after we checked out. We went to have a look around the shops before we departed Galway. Her purse got stolen with all the money in it. She was left with no money and no way home. If we had not too pay this ridiculous amount when checking in she would not be out of pocket. When booking this ridiculous charge should be stated more clearly than in the terms and conditions. Should also be stated that one is only charged if they fit a certain 'profile'.
