Sinéad the head chef is simply amazing! Top class food. Brian can not only make cocktails but can sing like a rockstar. This is place is very special. Trust me, just come here and see for yourselves!

The location of this hotel is perfect. Peace and tranquil but watersports on the doorstep if you want to be adventurous. Or a quite walk along the beach if you prefer. Only a few minutes drive to Clifden for some browsing in the lovely shops or a short drive to the Connemara Smokehouse at Bunowen Pier. The food at this hotel is amazing! Couldn't recommend it more highly — locally sourced ingredients treated with great care. Cant wait to return…

We had a wonderful few days at the Connemara Sands Hotel. What a truly magical location, with its own private beach. It was so peaceful, serene, scenic and absolute bliss. The food is top notch in both the bar and restaurant and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. We stayed in the dog friendly apartments which were ideal for a dogfriendly staycation with beautiful walks but look forward next time to staying in the hotel for that extra bit of luxury. We didn’t get to experience the spa as it was booked up for the bank holiday weekend but we will definitely be back again. Thanks for a wonderful stay. It’s truly a hidden gem with stunning vistas and best of all it’s so lovely to find such a contemporary and modern boutique hotel nestled in one of the most beautiful parts of Connemara.

It’s a wonderful place to go for a nice relaxing few days to unwind. A fantastic spa also, with Voya products. It’s a family run hotel, with a fantastic staff. Highly recommendable.

My mum & I had a 3 day break here in February. Every single member of staff were polite & friendly & went out of their way to be helpful. We had a very spacious suite. The food is absolutely sublime. I particularly loved their home made granola, best I've ever tasted. We went here off season, but I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about staying in beautiful Connemara. Special mentions to Dean, the propieter, the two Martins at front of house. Brian at front of house & Aishling who works at the spa.

We love this place… Third time to come here for us… So nautical and beachy! Great food, and fantastic staff… Friendliness and willing to go above and beyond. Two Paddy's in the bar excellent, full of charm and wit. We will be back Erica and Carl Forman.

We have just left and cant wait to go back. A little slice of heaven. We (family of 4-2 kids aged 4 and 7) and we stayed in one of the houses… the owners and staff were just the best and looked after us big time. Food was amazing. We both had seaweed baths which were so relaxing. With its own huge private beach we were spoiled. Thanks so so so much connemara sands… just what we needed.

If you want to truly relax and unwind this is the perfect location. Looking forward to my return visit already.

Our in the Connemara Sands Hotel was amazing. Perfect get away for my husband and I. Hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is location is surrounded by the beautiful views of the Connemara. The hotels spa treatments were 5 star, very professional and so relaxing. So much praise for this hotel, the dinner was mouthwatering. Our hotel room had so much space and we had our own private access to the hotels private beach… Isolated with clear blue waters! Everything about the hotel is 5 star. Already thinking of when we can go again with family.

Amazing place! The staff are very welcoming and nice. The place itself is beutiful, the spa treatments are not expensive and very recommended (i took the body scrub). Breakfast is delicious (i'm vegan and they specially cooked vegan food for me). I will definitely come back!?

Steak burger was the best I've ever had. I'd definetely be visiting again.

We dropped in unexpectedly we saw a beach then the hotel. They could not of been more obliging, the service excellent food excellent accommodation was excellent. I cannot speak highly enough of the place.

Pleasant place for an early family dinner on a rainey day. Will return for the seaweed baths and kids club.

Just back from from there what can I say about it we stayed two nights we will definitely come back again to stay next time for a longer period of time the food is second to none and the hotel management and staff were just lovely people couldn't do enough for us the view from our room was fantastic so thank ye again to the connemara sands hotel for everything regards Geraldine mulcahy xxx.

Lovely hotel inside kind of quite lovely beach nearby.

The hotel is located on the south shore of Mannin Bay. The view across the bay from our room was stunning. There's plenty of facilities for families and couples. The food was good. Service was good. The scenery and setting for the hotel in the heart of connemara was its outstanding point. The rooms felt a bit tired. But you could see a lot of work had gone on to bring the hotel to a high standard. I would highly recommend and go back again tomorrow if we could.

The staff were excellent, most pleasant, the food couldn't get nicer. Meals on both evenings of our stay were absolutely superb. The walk to and on their private beach was lovely. on behalf of : Godfrey Higgins.

Our second stay within the year. Totally enjoyable. Staff lovely and management very friendly who went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. We will be back before the end of the summer!

Just back from a lovely weekend at Connemara Sands Hotel. Beautiful accommodation, gorgeous food, wonderful service — what more could you ask for!

We stayed in the holiday homes. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and the place is very child friendly. Lovely beach out back. Food in the hotel is tasty and uses local ingredients. Great selection of craft beers.
