Coral Karbala Hotel

Customer service sucks. There is no mention anywhere (website or playcard at the reception) that the passport will be retained till check out. And they tried hard.
Upon 4 phone calls and one personal visit to the concierge got me an extra hangers for the clothes. They want to sell their laundry services so rediculously they banned use of iron in the name of electrical safety. Premise is new but no maintenance.
Wash basin leaks and dripping water with awful smell.
Shower is so funny that it splashing water on the toilet paper and water everywhere. Shower glass is leaking from the bottom to the floor of the washroom making it watery every corner.
Breakfast is good.
There is big communication gas for bus service to Haram.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR THIS PRICE.

Just 10 min walk to Hussein s shrine.
Great choice many of breakfast.

If you are planning to come for Ziaraats in Karbala and you prefer a comfortable living, this could be an excellent place to stay in. Not so close to the haram, around 1 kilometer by walk, so in hot weather could be an issue but guess what, they provide transport free of charge from hotel to haram. With my booking only breakfast was included, and to be honest it was an excellent one. Language is not an issue the staff understands English, and if you are from Pakistan or India, service staff has a lot of Pakistani lads who understand Urdu and Hindi and are very friendly and respectful. So if you are planning to come in Nov or Dec, could be a great option. PRO TIP: keep a warm jacket with you because in the early morning and night the weather is usually cold.

I stayed at Corral Hotel in Karbala as a single woman traveling alone, and I can honestly say I felt safe, protected, and cared for every single day. The staff here are truly fantastic, so kind, attentive, and genuinely concerned about your comfort and safety. In a city where everything is spiritual and emotional, their warmth made such a difference for me.
My room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view over the city. The only small downside was some noise due to nearby construction, and I could hear a bit from other rooms (someone was playing music and I could easily listen). But honestly, even with that, I still slept peacefully knowing I was somewhere safe.
The location is perfect, literally a one-minute walk to Harith Mall, where I ended up shopping almost every day. They also offer a shuttle bus that takes you directly to the Haramain, which made my ziyara so easy and stress-free.
For the price, this hotel is very affordable and exceeded my expectations. Despite a few noises, I would absolutely book here again. Corral Hotel became a little home for me during my stay in Karbala, and I’m grateful for the experience. ❤️

Im in hotel 2 days we don’t have water when I arrived I was so tried I needed water the hotel it was cut off water and the aisle so noisy.

Booking was so hard because no one was answering the phone they had provided on the web, and they don't respond well on social media.
Also they have no parking lot which was very inconvenient.

5 star experience, from the service to the cleanliness of the rooms to the staff, they deliver a luxury experience very close to the shrines. The breakfast buffet is also very good and offers versatile options everyday. I be staying here everytime I come to the holy city of karbala.

Excellent location, friendly staff, delicious food, clean and convenient rooms. Best value for money in town. Totally recommend it!

Very Disappointing Stay.
I stayed at this hotel, which says it’s 4 stars, but my experience was bad. The internet was so bad I couldn’t use it properly. There was an unpleasant smell in the room. The room itself was very small and had an awful design—nothing like what you’d expect from a 4-star place. Even the refrigerator door was so hard to open. The bathroom equipment was in poor condition. It really seemed like the hotel didn’t care about these problems at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—it’s not worth the money or the stars they claim.

Great hotel, great location, fairly priced paid 60, 000 IQR per night, they have their own shuttle bus, the reception staff were friendly and breakfast was decent — will stay here again/10

Stayed one night. Well located within walking distance of the shrine. Reasonably quiet.
Small, clean twin room. Amenities included an electric kettle. On the negative side, only two available power jacks in the room, of which only one by the beds, and very flat pillows without extra pillows available. Bed on the soft side. A/C worked well.
Bathroom with everything in working order. OK water pressure in the shower; shower head spraying in a wide range, so the flow is not very strong. Hand and bath towels provided, along with a bath mat.
Average Wi-Fi.
Breakfast with ok selection.

As a user:
1 — The good is GREAT, although I didn't like the watching eyes.
2 — The service is killing. After times of calling and demanding, my issue wasn't solved.
3 — For the rooms, don't choose 201, it smells awful.
4 — The transport to the holy shrine was good too.

I stayed for two nights, friendly staff, excellent service and food, professional and respectable hotel manager, service to Imam Hossein's shrine on time, I enjoyed it a lot and I hope to come back.
