فندق قصر الخورنق

The hotel has two large parking areas—indoor and outdoor—with over a hundred spaces in total. Guests find the parking ample and convenient. Additionally, a guest confirmed that the staff assisted with electric vehicle charging.

Opinions on the staff are mixed. Many guests describe the team as friendly, hardworking, and helpful, especially praising the managers and English-speaking staff. At the same time, other visitors reported unprofessional behavior from front desk staff, describing them as untrained and "gloomy," and also noted slow response times to housekeeping requests.

The hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast, which many describe as rich and delicious. The menu includes egg dishes, fried chicken cutlets, mushrooms, mashed potatoes, a variety of breads, and hot mushroom soup. A selection of teas, coffees, and complimentary soft drinks is also available. However, some guests criticized the breakfast, noting that the food was served cold and the selection was modest compared to the standards expected of a five-star hotel.

One of the main highlights is the revolving restaurant on the top floor, which offers panoramic views of the entire city and is particularly scenic at night. The menu features both traditional Iraqi and international cuisine, which many guests find very flavorful. Nevertheless, there are reviews mentioning average food quality and poor service organization, such as waitstaff mixing up orders and lacking proper hospitality training.

Guests speak highly of the welcome amenities: freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, and traditional local sweets are provided in the rooms upon arrival. The mini-fridges also offer complimentary beverages, including bottled water, Coca-Cola, and 7-Up.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, and some guests note that the wireless internet connection is very fast.

Feedback regarding room comfort is mixed. Some guests praise the comfortable beds, good soundproofing, and quality lighting. Others report poor noise insulation in street-facing rooms and issues with room temperature control, noting that central heating could not be turned off in certain rooms, turning them into a "sauna."

Cleanliness is a subject of mixed reviews. Several guests found the rooms clean, spacious, and well-maintained. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious issues: dirty floors, dusty windows, hair on pillowcases, and unpleasant odors in the bathrooms. Some guests also noted that housekeeping was not carried out for several days despite their requests.

Some guests note that the cooling system is not sufficiently effective, leaving rooms lacking adequate coolness. It was also mentioned that the air conditioning is controlled via an older manual system.

Rooms are equipped with standard amenities, including electric kettles, tea and coffee sets, and full bathrooms with fresh towels and toiletries. Comfortable armchairs and balconies overlooking the city are also provided.

The hotel features a 24-hour gym, though some guests have reported cleanliness issues and noisy treadmills in need of maintenance. A swimming pool is also mentioned, but according to several visitors, it is still under development or not yet fully ready for guest use.
