Solok Premier Hotel

Yes, the hotel provides dedicated on-site parking. Guests note that the parking area is very spacious, offering peace of mind regarding the safety of their vehicles.

Most guests describe the staff as very friendly, professional, and eager to assist, with particular praise given to the front desk team (specifically Febby and Kenanga Zalind) and the security personnel. However, there are occasional negative remarks: some visitors reported impolite behavior from a receptionist and a lack of competence within the sales department. Inconsistencies in staff attire were also noted, with some employees wearing official uniforms while others wore casual t-shirts.

The hotel offers a varied breakfast buffet, including local specialties such as lontong sayur, fried rice, and traditional sweets. Guest opinions regarding the food are divided: many find the breakfast delicious and diverse, while others point out shortcomings such as overly watery sauce in the gulai and the absence of basic sides like eggs for the fried rice. Occasional dining area cleanliness issues, including the presence of ants on tables, were also reported.

Complimentary bottled water and electric kettles for heating water are provided in the rooms. Select room categories are also equipped with water dispensers. Please note that kettle availability and functionality may vary in "Standard" or "Smart" room categories; one guest reported that the water heater in their room had been deliberately disconnected by the administration.

Soundproofing in the hotel is considered insufficient. Guests report that conversations from neighbors, hallway disturbances, and sounds from adjacent rooms are audible, as the dividing barriers between some units consist only of connecting doors and wardrobes. In some instances, street noise may also filter in due to the central location.

Feedback regarding room conditions is mixed. Many guests praise the clean, comfortable rooms, plush beds, and modern post-renovation interior. At the same time, others point out dust in room corners, stained or worn bed linens, and a generally tired decor. Additionally, some rooms are reported to have inadequate lighting, creating a somewhat gloomy atmosphere.

Overall cleanliness receives mixed reactions. Many guests highlight impeccably clean rooms, fresh-scented linens, and well-maintained grounds. However, there are complaints regarding dust in room corners, stained and musty elevator carpets, dusty balconies, and restrooms in event halls that require more thorough cleaning. Corridors on the upper floors are also described as dim and unwelcoming due to burnt-out lights.

The air conditioning in most rooms functions well and provides effective cooling. Regarding the water supply, many guests are satisfied with the availability of hot water; however, there have been isolated reports of water heaters in standard rooms not working or being turned off.

Yes, the hotel is equipped with a functional elevator, providing easy access to the upper floors. However, some guests have noted that the upper-floor hallways appear somewhat bare and dimly lit.
