Apollo Bungalows

What a slice of heaven in this far corner of earth! One cannot imagine a closer proximity to the beach. And what a beach it is, especially for kids, even small children. Its calm and clear water is no more than 2 feet deep, going out almost 100m. Fantastic snorkeling with teeming sea life under every rock. The bungalows are simple but adequate. While it may be a bit isolated, the Iboih village is only 5 min drive away. The owners are a lovely couple who is always ready to help. The only downside is that you will get spoiled by this beach, as we had been disappointed after traveling to other parts of Pulau Weh.

​I specifically chose to stay away from Sabang town and picked this spot closer to Kilometer 0 because I wanted a more relaxed and quiet holiday. It was definitely the right decision. While it does mean finding food is a bit more of a challenge, the peaceful atmosphere more than makes up for it. ​The room was perfectly clean and I loved that it came with both AC and a ceiling fan, so it stayed very comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless. The best part was definitely the view as the room looks out directly onto the ocean. Waking up to that scenery was incredible. ​The owner is also incredibly kind and helpful. I arrived early and was allowed to leave my bags there before check-in time. When I eventually came back to the property, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had already moved my bags into the room for me. It is that kind of thoughtful service that really makes a stay special. ​While this place feels like an ideal spot for a honeymoon because of the romantic and quiet setting, I found it just as perfect for a solo traveler like myself. It is a great place to just slow down and enjoy the nature. Based on what I experienced, the snorkeling right in front of the bungalows is also amazing with clear water and plenty of fish to see.

FREAKING LOVE THIS SPACE! The ambiance of the house. The shrubs plants around it, the house is clean, comfortable, spacious. Area is peaceful. Seaview room with affordable price as well!
Location is a little bit far from Iboih beach, but its not a problem if you have motor/car-road is very much accessible. Because it stays out that makes it peaceful and not touristy at all. I love it. Internet connection is also very stable here. You have access to sand beach right in front of you. There is nearby good dive centre as well. Jom Jul Travel! Cannot recommend them enough.
