We stayed one night at Hotel Bambu Kuning and honestly, for the price and location, it’s a solid little find. Smack bang in the middle of everything, with plenty of restaurants just a short stroll away—no need to go hunting when you’re hungry.
The room was large and spotlessly clean, which is always a win. The bed… well, let’s just say it’s that classic firm Asian style.
You’ve got the basics covered: tea and coffee setup, TV, a few toiletries, and a shower that actually delivers—hot water and good pressure.
Breakfast was simple but did the job—banana, shredded coconut, and a hot drink to get you moving.
But the standout here is the staff. Genuinely warm and helpful, and a special shout-out to Yuli—you made things easy for us with our onward travel, and that kind of help goes a long way when you’re on the move. Terima kasih.
If you are passing through Bandar Lampung and can find time for an overnight stop in this interesting city then I can recommend staying at the Hotel Bambu Kuning.

Excellent location within walking distance to railway station and local supermarket "next door" as well as the street market outside selling the freshest fruit possible!

Extremely clean & well sized rooms with all facilities provided including operational A/C and Wi-Fi.
For a small hotel, the room service with choice of dishes was excellent in speed, value & service!
Housekeeping restored my room every day to the "high standard" upon arrival — well done to the staff concerned!
Details like "ice" for my drinks in the room was not a problem — even a casual mention that I liked pineapple prompted the Manager to ensure this was included with my ice the next day!
This is the detail that surprised me and I will be sure to book here the next time I'm in this part of Indonesia!

Amazing place in Lampung. Unbeatable price for the service. Clean rooms, friendly staff and free breakfast. The owner Yulie is such an amazing person who carries herself with a lot of grace and elegance. I had to checkout at 5 AM and she prepared and already packed my breakfast.
