The location was a long way from the island bars and the beach. The room waa clean but the air con was not working properky. We had to call reception and they re-gassed it. The TV was not working for 2 of my 3 day stay. The Internet was not working throughout the duration of my stay. I complained about the Internet immediately after checking in. They re-booted the modem but it made no difference. At best you could get into the Internet for 20 seconds before it would cut off. It was impossible to check emails, social media etc. The bathroom was very warm although the bathroom cupboard was nicely stacked with a first aid kit. After showering, I felt like I needed another shower after drying off because I became so sweaty from the heat in the bathroom. The cottage came with a good sized fridge, stove, coffee and tea making facilities and laundry facilities including a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. There was also a small line to hang wet clothing. The pool was clean but very small. It was enough to refresh yourself but it was too small to swim. The staff were friendly.

Santan Pros: — The staff are polite, considerate and friendly. Our every need was tended to with a smile — The breakfast that is delivered to your room is delicious and well priced — The room is so huge it could comfortably fit another bed. It is fully furnished and self contained although we went out each day. You can expect everything from a kettle to an iron. The staff will even do your washing for you whilst you are out of the room — The bikes you are provided with are the nicest on the island. They also have your cottage name on them so they are easy to spot amongst lookalikes — The bathroom is big and beautiful — Our room had 2 air conditioners. Although due to the high ceilings it was necessary to use both but the temperature was always very comfortable — The pool is great for a dip in the evening or if you carry the umbrella over, a relaxing drink — The mini bar is well priced Cons — Location. We cycled around the island twice, so a 10 minute ride into the main strip wasn’t too big of a deal. But getting to our room initially with suitcases was a challenge. Gili T has undeveloped streets and many rocks and bumps on the footpaths; at night when returning from dinner you will likely struggle to see where you are going. The room comes with a torch for each person, but using that whilst riding (especially after a few cocktails) wasn’t practical. — Location. The area is still being developed.

One of our best accommodation in Indonesia! Top cottages with small private Jacuzzi, bikes available, and a very professional service, always close to service. Not to rely on the first of the hotel somewhat "rustic", the hotel itself is very recent. The price is a little high but the level of benefits justifies it. (Visited October 2016)

Had a wonderful stay, booked more nights after arriving. Very helpful and competent staff, lovely owner. They really thought about everything; bikes, map, torch lights, basic medicine cabinet, washing machine, dryer, all you need to cook a meal, variety of tea and coffee, blender, toaster. Nice size room and bathroom, colorful good size garden and the pool (small, but definitely enough for 2). A lot of sun in the garden. Air conditioner and very efficient fan, if you don’t like to sleep with air conditioner. With bikes you’re close to everything. Only downside is very frequent and long preyers from the mosque starting at 4.45. That you can hear a little. The isolation is not bad and it’s far away, but the mosque speakers are extremely loud. Can’t imagine staying somewhere near if you’re a light sleeper.

Perfect location, perfect staff and owner! We absolutely loved our stay in the cottage! We extended our stay from 2 nights to 5 nights. We will come back again! Thank you Cesare and your team.

Out of the 7 places we stayed on our 3 week trip in and around Bali, this was hands down our favourite accommodation. The owner makes sure you have everything you need and the place is just the cutest. Clean and private. The yard, outdoor kitchen and private pool were just the best. Having the bikes that come with to zip around the island was perfect.

Really nice hotel, friendly hosts and carefully explained the details of the hotel. The pool is spacious enough for couples. There is a washing machine, kitchen set complete with cooking utensils and bbq. Rooms are very spacious with safety box. The hotel also has provided two free bikes to tour the island. Perfect for honeymoon!. I'll definitely come back here! ❤

Back to Bali after our stay at the cottages and they were amazing! Made our holiday. The service was great, very clean! Thank you for making us feel at home.

Amazing villas in a relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly staff with great service. Minibar with reasonable price and breakfast is outstanding. Anytime again!

Comfortable, clean and spacious. Hosts were very helpful, providing a refreshing drink on arrival and pointing out places on a map. Safe in the room. Pool great and use of two bikes came with the room. In a quiet location away from the main strip on the beach front. I'd go back.
