The house belongs to Christian, he has been taking tourists to the volcano for more than 40 years. We did not live with him, but his son took us to the observation deck of the volcano.

Rooms are basic and water is lukewarm. However Christian is the real attraction of this place.

The unique hospitality as jogja's well known humble person, has been welcoming me to this facility.
Small but warm and nice, quite enough even near urban area.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a private room and I really enjoyed the place. The room has a good bathroom and airco that works well.

Feels like my grandma home. Vibes, room, service and people very excellent. This hostel will be my second hometown, every time wanna to Yogya I will stay in Bhumi Hostel, this place never failed.

Simple hotel and hostel next to Yogya’s oldest neighborhood. Fun to walk around and explore and get lost in the the narrow streets just south of this place.

Very nice place off the main roads, so very quiet. The rooms are a bit small, but good AC. You can also wash and hang clothes. Lots of nearby restaurants, so food is not a problem.

Stayed there with my girlfriend for 4 nights in October while we saw Yogyakarta.

The location is in the city but you still can get "kampong" vibe. Lots greenery in the neighborhood. You also can have breakfast nearby in a real hut restaurant.

Am totally smitten with this place!
During my trip to Jogja, I tried out two different spots, but Trava House stole the show.

Stayed here for few nights in Yogya, the bed is comfy and clean, and the bathroom is clean. The price is also good. Staffs are also friendly.

The hostel is amazing. It is perfectly clean in any way, it is quiet, it is spaceous and there are 2 sockets for each bed.

Our check-in was seamless with the aid of friendly staff who all spoke great English.
