Friendly staff. Nice and clean room.

I stayed at Melia Purosani for almost a week. In the middle of the week, I upgraded to the Level Room. The amenities are good, I like the outdoor ambience. It has several plantations which make even more convenient and shade us from the sunlight. But, I don’t really like the food for breakfast. They didn’t offer enough variety of foods. And the dining space was not really spacious. But, I could feel homey when I was staying during the time.

Can't request more… almost everything is good. The food, the hospitality, the vibe is great. the only things need to be done is, it should be modernized a bit, without lose it traditionaly shape. It will be good combination of it…

Nice hospitality, nice pool, good break fast, good yard and sorrounding and the most important is not so far from zero point of yogyakarta. I recommend you to stay for best moment.

Stayed at the LEVEL Junior Suites from 22jun till 27jun19, the staff were all very helpful and courteous. Big Spacious room for family with 2 teenagers. Breakfast and the executive lounge food was great. From the first day till the day I checked out, the staff at the Executive Lounge was consistently excellent. Especially Bangun and Agus.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staffs. Felt secure Beakfast was wonderful and delicious. There are a lot of hotels with terrible breakfast. Not the best way to start your day. Food was great. The gym was nice and so was the pool to relax.

Me and my husband stayed at room 4*8, eventhough some people said the hotel was spooky but I don't believed this gossip (hoax). Overall the hotel served was good, beautiful view, cozy room, excellent pool, and nice staff. But I think your front door man a little bit not responsive when the guees come, they should greetings and treat the guess much better. I plan to bring my family to stay in Melia when we go on vacation to Jogja.

I was here to learn about hospitality and hotel management. The staff was super nice. I love the hotel's view. They have a great pool and garden. And they gave us a tour and served very tasty lunch. Thank you.

I was overwhelmed by the time I see their secret garden. To think that this hotel is located at the very heart of the city, I was surprised it is quiet and peaceful. They even preserved a bird species on their roof. Pool area is nice and surrounded by greenery, very relaxing and pretty much cool down the heat. They have a beautiful patio too outside the bar. Definitely the best urban resort I've ever visited.

We stayed at Melia Purosani hotel during our holiday in Yogyakarta and we liked the hotel especially the location is nearby Malioboro. The modern bedroom with nice interior and bathtub was definitely enjoyable for the kids. The staffs are also welcoming us warmly and with big smile. The swimming pool is also quite big and the kids really enjoy it. The only downside was the breakfast cause the food taste is a bit bland.

A super comfortable hotel to spend holiday with your family, friends or partner! The room was clean and convenient, good view. Breakfast was delicious, the hotel provided a lot of facilities if you want to spend the whole day in the hotel, such as massage, swimming pool, bar, etc.

The hotel is nice, and rather luxurious in terms of the common areas. There is a large garden inside with a swimming pool. We ate at the hotel because we were advised not to eat in the city, the Indonesian dishes were good, not particularly noteworthy! The breakfast buffet is very nice: lots of choice with local and European/American food. We were a little disappointed by the room for the price: spacious and comfortable but not really charming and a view of the street.

Cheap but good local restaurants around here. Only one thing I disappointed is the shower pressure. Too weak for me. I like this hotel if I can have chance come to Yogyakarta, I will choose here again.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are a dream and the beds are more than comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and very clean. The staff at the reception is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is perfect.

Excellent hotel especially the junior suite room. The room is well decorated. There are two floor in the room. You can relax and watch TV at the first floor and rest at the second floor.

Weekend is disaster for check in hotel. It's overload, waiting for empty room until 2 hours in lobby hotel. But it's okay since the hospitality of the workers is good. Clean and comfortable hotel. Hotel that blend with nature. Fish pond with the bridge near by swimming pool. Many trees there. For the bed room itself, it's quite good. There is bath tub. This is the guest who have baby looking for.

An oasis in the heart of Yogyakarta. It deserves the five stars for the quality of its facilities. The rooms are large, comfortable and quiet, at least the ones that overlook the pool. The staff of the hotel are very friendly and attentive. Very good restaurants so not worth looking for some other place for meals. It is very well in the restaurant located by the pool and after dinner you can listen to music and have a drink. I recommend to all this hotel.

Great service, rooms large and clean and with many details. Magnificent breakfast. By putting a paste is not available, the international channel of TVE strange given the large number of Spaniards who visit the hotel and that its shareholder is of Spanish nationality. In most of the hotels in Thailand what you have available, something that is appreciated when you take days away from home and want to have news of what's going on there.

Excellent place. Welcoming staff, beautiful decor, and wonderful facilities. Had a lovely spa treatment and many delicious meals, great for relaxing in the evening after a days adventuring around Yogya. Would definitely recommend this. Also it is dirt cheap for 5* hotel!

Meski termasuk hotel lama, tapi kelihatannya sudah diupgrade. Kamar seperti hotel2 baru pada umumnya. Kamar nyaman layaknya hotel bintang 5 lain. Lokasi strategis, jalan ke malioboro cukup dekat. Satu nilai tambah, area kolam renang dan taman cukup luas dan asri, enak untuk bersantai di pagi hari. Untuk kamar dengan city view, bila malam agak bising suara lalu lintas. Mungkin kamar dengan pool view lebih tenang.

A few area that the hotel need to be better in future. The room bed and pillow can be more comfortable as my wife don't get to sleep well for the entire stay. She complain the bed is too hard and pillow not comfy. on the morning breakfast personally I felt you guys really need to improve from your choices menu to the taste. The selection is way too much and you guys are mixing up the category of your food choices and the taste of your food really need to improve. Your server… always like to clean up the table when we still not finishing our food. 1 incident is when me & my wife was going to get some food then your server came and collect all our plate when we still not finishing yet. What happen if we not back yet to our table and someone could have seated our table. This is really not nice when you have an embarrassing moment. overall is a nice looking hotel.

It’s surely the fanciest Hotel in town. With Amelia the quality is guaranteed. The surrounding are super noisy as the hotel is in the middle of one of the main roads. However the rooms are well sound proofed! The garden and the swimming pool are pretty. Restaurant is good too!

Old hotel but nicely renovated. Pool is great for young kids and family. Breakfast tastes good, but running out quickly. Room is not too fancy for 5*, but still comfortable. Bed is firm n nice, pillow is not comfortable — too high n seems old. Cleanliness can be improve, found some dust in the fridge cupboard. Bathroom is okay. Quick check in & check out process.

The hotel is about 45 minutes from the airport and is situated near the famous Malioboro shopping street. The deluxe rooms are surprisingly big and comes with shower and bath tubs. They provide bathroom essentials and towels are changed daily. Rooms facing the pool would probably give travellers a much peaceful sleep as the sound of prayers are blocked. Hotel is very clean with diligent staff making sure the guests are comfortable. Many thanks for the wonderful 3 nights stay.

The hotel is clean. Room is big. Request to fix up door of shower cubicle was responded promptly. Every staff from the doorman, housekeeping, reception, pool and restaurants is cheerful and attentive. Breakfast was fairly good but with room for improvement. The food in Chinese Restaurant was of good value.

This hotel really deserves a five star rating. We enjoyed the beautiful new rooms at "The Level". Centrally located in the heart of Yogyakarta, it has a fantastic service and very friendly staff. The swimming pool is shallow and too small for swimming, designed for kids and family paddling around. The shower cubicle is not watertight we always ended up with a very wet floor. Good gym facility and restaurant. Breakfast is really good too. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Great hotel amid of Jogja's heart. Nice pool, fancy breakfast & dining menu, well-maintained interior, and superb quality of service. The room, however, wasn't soundproof enough.

New refurbished interior design, but some spot are still outdated. Not so many breakfast variety compare to other 5 hotel in yogya.

Nice hotel, stayed here for a full two weeks while I was in Yogyakarta for work and exploring the city. It's pretty central and has a good concierge that will call you a taxi or private car. It's right beside a supermarket called Progo, where I was able to get a local SIM card and some other necessities. It's also a 5 min walk from Mal Malioboro which was great. It also has a tour company within the hotel. The gym, pool and restaurants are all good too.

Many years ago it could be good hotel, but not now. Very dirty bathroom, shower is dying. Thay add extra goverment tax and extra service tax to every price. Most of the staff doen't know english. Overpriced place, not recomend.

Positive overall staying in this hotel, there was welcome drink, (forgot either free/paid) standard breakfast offered. During my stay, there is no standard Indonesian water hose near the toilet.

Polite and friendly staff, good breakfast (though the layout is a bit odd given not everything is in one place). Concierge is helpful and has a folder of various tours and sightseeing if you are at a loose end. Would recommend.

Certainly not a bad place to stay, in itself, but disappointing. I had higher expectations, people told me this was about the best in town. I am underwhelmed. Room nice and clean. Pool nice, pleasant garden to hang around. Food OK. Location OK. Some staff were a bit clumsy. Most staff did not speak English. Check-in took 20 mins. Minibar was locked. Keys stopped working twice a day. Hardly any electrical sockets available in room. Sort-of waterfall in garden is loud (also at night). Not co-operative with late check-out. Bar is a very noisy place. Wifi is not only slow, but unstable; and needs loging every hours or so. Request for switching off airco was ignored. 'The girl from Ipanema' song plays in a permanent loop in the corridors. I was not unhappy to stay here, but it could — should? — just have been (much) better.

They ruin the reputation of the Melià brand. They gave us a very dirty room (blurs on the bed) and completely dirty barthroom (dirty of months in the barthroom sink). We claimed it to the reception and they changed our room to a smokers room (there were no other available rooms according to them). For them it was un upgrade but I want to state that the only difference was the colour of the moquette (from green to yellow) and of course the room apparently was clean (it seem an optional for them).

Well, I thought to treat myself to a one whole day spa wellness at this luxury hotel. The hotel is big and the garden is beautiful. Start with a buddy scrub, hmmm due to bad planning the session stops when the body mask just have been put on, not even time to dry or to do its work as it should to be. Okay then a swim and to catch up some tan. Perfect! Unfortunately the manicure and pedicure session turn out to be a big disaster. My nails are nearly ruined. The person is totally unqualified. Bad tools, lack of basic knowledge. The facial session should have been okay but they don't do epilation or else, removing blackheads not even a day cream or something. The check shows an amount of 1.050.000 rupiah. Okay it's only 80+ U$D, but for a local as I am, it is a month salary as a very bad spending.
