Overall a good stay. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The gym is not too bad. It has sufficient equipment to have a good workout. The breakfast spread is not too bad well. I would say overall a pleasant stay.

2nd time stayed at Grand Aston. Love the room. Very big & comfortable. What I like the most about this hotel is their breakfast. Varieties of food & delicious! definitely will stay at here again.

The place is centrally located and it is within distance of some shopping malls. The staff at the Hotel are super and extremely warm and their display of hospitality was there to see. The rooms were clean and Wi-Fi connectivity was good. There is room to bring in additional food choices given that international travelers do have special needs. Overall, we had a very pleasant and a memorable stay.

I stayed here for 4 nights. It's a good hotel. It's located near restaurants, shops, and a mall. The staff were all very friendly. The rooms were clean and fairly well maintained. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I'm in Yogyakarta again.

I stayed here at least 1x/mth for 2 nights for business. The service is now improved, the room already has hand towels and they put hair dryer inside => improvement needed for the hairdryer though (the wattage is too small). Aston usually lock the fridge which sometimes can be annoying, just to avoid the mini bar. Breakfast is good and plenty of choices-one of the best breakfast in town that I experienced. Beware when there are plenty of people, the selections finished up quicker. Overall will stay again!

Wow what a luxurious hotel. This glorious magnificent hotel is just fabulous. Service with smiles. They have a chef to cook poached eggs, omelettes etc at breakfast time, and you can can choose a typical European or more Asian both delicious. This room had separate bath and shower. The bed was comfortable with plush snugly pillows and really good bed, like sleeping on a cloud. Located in the middle of town centre. The views are spectacular. We had absolutely wonderful time yes we would re turn I highly, highly recommend.

Natural scent entering lobby. Love it so much. Very clean and bright. There are modern fish pond. It's suitable bringing the kids and thumbs up for hospitality. Saturday night, there is live music in the lobby, for the food, I like the breakfast meals and there is fresh juice. You can choose the available fruit there, then the worker could make the fresh juice on the spot. It's very helping since I brought my 8 months baby. The foods are very yummy and complete, fully Recommended. Addition, there is batik shop too.

Great business/transit hotel near Yogyakarta airport. Staff were courteous and helpful, rooms were clean, and the restaurant at the rooftop (Cielo) provided a great dining and craft cocktail experience. I appreciate the complimentary cakes and fruits prepared in my room. The only downside to this place is that the walls are thin and you can hear people talking/snoring/laughing very clearly. Not recommended for light sleepers.

The hotel is located in a strategic area, very easy to be found. Yet, it's very clean as much as bright. The hotel also serves varieties food & beverages if guests just want to have relax within the hotel area. Not to forget to mention those lovely, polite and friendly staff. Keep up your good work guys!

After all of this time, I thought I already found the perfect place to stay in Yogyakarta, but when I stepped in to this hotel for the first time, I knew that I was wrong about it. Spent 3 nights here for leisure and a mini honeymoon. Great location, comfort room, fast Wi-Fi, delicious F&B plus wide variety of selection for breakfast. Staff are super polite, friendly, and very helpful. Feels like home away from home. Everything was excellent and exceeded my expectation. Will return for sure!

The best view is in a swimming pool area even you can’t see city or nature view. But near restaurant you can also take picture because they have good spots. Their cheesecake also good, wanna try new menus when I come again.

Excellent service from staffs from all departments. Service with a smile and from the their heart. 15mins ride from airport. Not much facilities but the rate and services are worth staying plus the cleanliness. The hotel is near a shopping mall about 5 mins walk. Moderate buffet but at par with the rate. Worth staying and would come again if visit Jogjakarta.

We had to stay for a week in Grand Aston Hotel Yogyakarta for business meetings in another hotel. The location was great, it was 15 minutes away from almost everything we needed to go to. There are three in-house restaurants which was really convenient, as we didn't have to leave the hotel to look for food choices. There was just a funky smell in the room — I think they should be sprayed with fresheners more often.

This hotel is very grand design. The location is in the middle of the city and strategic. The room was luxurious and clean, the mattress was soft and made sleep so soundly. The breakfasts are special, complete and delicious. Suitable to be a five star hotel. I stay 3 nights in this great hotel. Everything is perfect. Marketing manager ms. Emmy is very friendly. His marketing staff mr. Great Akbar. And 1 more thing … my stuff left in the hotel lobby, not lost and kept by hotel clerk. Satisfied stay at this hotel.

A very nice hotel in the middle of town. Close to almost all things. Its in a quiet street. Good staff and very good hospitality. Enjoyed staying at Grand Aston.

We stay for 2 night in this hotel and in overall it was an excellent stay. The hotel and room interior was nicely design and room amenities were complete. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the pool even it small equipped with warm water so you will never feel cold at anytime you play in the pool. Last but not least the breakfast menu were excellent from the plenty choices and the taste. Will definitely back to this hotel if we visited the city again off course when the price just right.

Everything was great in here when we spent 2 nights at this hotel. The room and hotel interior was nice with modern minimalis design, complete toiletres amenities, iron, safe deposit, flashlight, water boiler. The staff very nice with always a smiling face and ready to assist you whenever needed. The pool even it's consider a small pool but equipped with warm water so you will never feel cold. Last but not least the breakfast menu is incredible come with a variety of choices from asian (Japanese sushi), western, Indonesian food also local food (gudeg) is served in the morning. When we back to the city this will be our 1st choice for a hotel off course if the price is right.

It was a wonderful experience during my stay at Grand Aston Jogjakarta. The hotel is very cozy, very wide selection of buffet (Breakfast, lunch & dinner) since I stayed here for a meeting. I also recommend this hotel for those who wants to stay for vacation, it's very accessible to the downtown! The staff was excellent, gave me the five stars service, good job!

Was here for SM Conference 2017. Staffs were all great! Super comfortable to join the conference since the functions rooms were big enough to hold activities of SM Conference. Ah! The salmon sushi was so LIT! Chef Jojo always stood by to ensure food quality and quantity were okay. My 3rd time being here and will be back for sure! Thank you GAY.

A good hotel for staying with kindly staff service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Its location in downtown so it is easily to go whereever you'll go. But the taste of its breakfast too plain.

We were very happy to stayed in Grand Aston Jogja for almost one week. Make us felt like stayed in home. The staff was so friendly, and the room was so good. They surprised us with special set up in our room (rose, swan towels, cake and fruit was placed in our room). Very recommended hotel for others who want to stay in Jogja.

Place was great, air-condition working real good. Service is awesome as expected from Aston group. Located at the center of the city transportation is easy to find, can ask the receptionist to help you find one. Make sure to ask if there's a minimum fee need to be paid. Will come stay here again if coming to Yogyakarta.

I really satisfied with their service quality. Staff is well trained to provide comfortability. Although, there are several points which is staff's English level is a bit poor and their room temperature is extremely low. There are few staff in restaurant.

Great new hotel in Yogjakarta. Enjoyed perfect Balinese massage in spa and used the pool. Huge choice of different food styles at breakfast. Modern Asian style rooms.

Decently priced, good location, and the rooms are well appointed. I've stayed here a few times and never had any problems. The staff don't get in your way and there's a couple of restaurants as well as room service.

Their restaurant offers excellent food, although it is very much on the pricey side. The only place in town to get decent Mexican food.

We the couple, check in on 27 September 2015, just one night stay but it was great stay in Yogyakarta. Nice food for breakfast lots of choices. The specially the staff really good they friendly all of them we so happy from the reception Intan and Amel they nice smile with the smile from heart. And Amel good service when guest check in and check out. They hape roof restaurant we love so much the view so beautiful, we feel it like not in yogyakarta food good as well. Should to visit when you come to yogyakarta. for sure we will be back.

The rooms are quite convenient during our three days stay. But the reception service underwhelming, "you are not allowed to smoke on the room, penalty of2000000 rupiah, we take 500000 rupiah as safety for the mini bar, the service in the restaurant under average, waiting half an hour for a bear, food is only average. I have been in a lot of Hotels in south East Asia during the last 15 year's, but to this I will spend only three stars.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the lobby immaculate and beautifully decorated with local art. The whole hotel is also fragrant with soothing, aromatic smells that is a welcome contrast from the bustle of the city traffic. But more than this, the outstanding service and friendliness of the staff are the reason why I give this hotel a 5-star rating. They were extremely accommodating and welcoming, and wonderful to my little 4-year old Lucy. She made lots of friends with all the staff and even enjoyed dancing in the vanilla sky lounge that offers a great view of the city. The restaurant is also beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. For food safety (especially since traveling with a 4-year old), we ate at the hotel and were fine. The service was of course great, but the food could be improved. I wish their local dishes on the menu were tastier and more authentic. But this is a minor complaint because the rest of our trip was so fantastic. This hotel is also central and 15-minutes from the airport. I recommend using their Bintang tours. Although slightly more expensive than the tours offered outside, it is worth it for the convenience, reliability and quality. If you have time, the Prambanan temple and the Ramayana ballet are amazing, as well as a jeep tour to Merapi followed by Borobudur.

The hotel provides an excellent level of service: Breakfast (Asian/national/European cuisine), taxi (which carries the counter), ordering of tickets to various events, a fitness room and a pool. Our room had a beautiful view of Merapi and the sunrise was very beautiful, a sunset for some reason was always in the clouds. The price of the hotel by local standards sky-high.
