Ranasa Yogyakarta

I had an excellent experience at this hostel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a great place to rest. The staff was friendly and always helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The location is strategic, close to major attractions and easy to access. The hostel also offers great facilities, including fast Wi-Fi and a cozy common area for relaxing.
Overall, everything about this hostel was top-notch. If you're looking for a comfortable, affordable, and well-managed place to stay, this is the perfect choice. I will definitely stay here again!

Staff were very friendly. I had some nice chats.
Chill out area in the front was very nice and relaxing. There was a small pool in the back which I personally didn't use. Included breakfast was good.
My private room/hut was nicely designed. Bed up a ladder. Open air bathroom in the back. The room was a little dark. One light switch did nothing. My only real complaint was the light from the aircon, which could not be dimmed. Hut was set in a pleasant green garden.
Location is good. Close to restaurants and shops and not far from the city centre.
Would definitely stay again.

In this hostel you immediately feel comfy. The guys who work there are super friendly, very helpful with questions and as a bonus, they're hilarious. Also, very comfortable beds. Would come back any time!

We had a great stay in this hostel, the staff was very helpful and super friendly! They gave us many recommandations for Yogyakarta but also Bali and Lombok and we even had the chance to go to the Waisak celebration at Borobudur with them! It was amazing!
The common room is very clean and the bedroom as well!
The breakfast was a big banana pancake with a plate of fruits and a coffee or tea, it was delicious!

The beds are a bit annoying because they are not against the wall so you can't put up a pillow and lean against it.
The electric outlet kept falling of so don't touch it in the night.
The staff on the other hand is awesome and for that reason only I have to say I recommend the place.
Big minus is that they want to keep your passport if you rent a scooter through the company they hire.

Very well located, the hostel is close to all attractions in Yogyakarta. For the activities outside of the city, they contacted a motorbike rental shop which dropped the bike at the hostel. The dorm was comfortable, cool and calm. They provided me a towel for the stay.
The staff was amazing, so friendly and open to discussion or any activity (going to a waterfall, a bar or playing music or games). The breakfast was also fresh and good.
