Best hostel I've stayed in while I've been in Indonesia! Rooms were lovely with excellent Aircon, and the staff were all lovely and provided a bunch of good recommendation for things to do and places to eat in Yogya. Will deffo stay here again when I'm next in Indonesia.
Huma is a hostel with one of the best services. At an affordable price, they provide various facilities that can be shared with other residents. All staff are friendly, and what's most impressive is they implement a "pre-arrival check-in" procedure to ensure guest comfort. Excellent!

After 7 months of backpacking I found my favorite hostel. Huma is amazing! It’s beautiful, super clean, well equipped and the staff are phenomenal. Everything about it is great and I wish I could stay here everywhere I go.
The beds are comfy and cozy and allow for more privacy than in a standard dorm room. I slept so well here. There is ample common space to relax in and socialize with other travelers. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. There’s separate toilets, showers and sinks! The kitchen has everything you need to properly cook — stove, pots, pans, etc. There’s free coffee and tea every morning. Every staff member was so kind and helpful. One staff member even brought in cookies homemade by her parents. The check in process was great. I was greeted with a cold drink, a great attitude, and relaxed atmosphere.
If all this weren’t enough, it’s probably the best value for money hostel I’ve stayed at. Definitely stay here while in Yogyakarta!
