The hotel has parking facilities; however, it is located outdoors without a shelter, leaving vehicles exposed to rain. Parking space is limited: with 5 cottages, it can accommodate approximately 4–6 cars at a time.

The staff is described as very friendly, professional, and helpful, with special recognition given to the reception and security teams. Guests are greeted with a welcome drink upon check-in. However, there are some complaints regarding service at the restaurant: wait times for food can reach up to 1.5 hours, and some staff members at the third-floor café were noted as not very helpful.

A security deposit of IDR 200,000 is required upon check-in at Sangkar Cottage & Eatery. The deposit must be paid in cash and is fully refunded to guests upon check-out.

Breakfast is served at the rooftop café with scenic views of the rice fields. The menu features Western dishes, which guests rate higher than local cuisine options. In-room breakfast delivery is available for an additional fee of IDR 30,000. The restaurant offers Asian and Western dishes at affordable prices, though food quality can be inconsistent: for example, the sirloin steak had too much fat, and some guests found the porridge rather bland.

Rooms are equipped with a kettle, glasses, mugs, as well as complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and creamer. Drinking water dispensers are available near the guest rooms.

Soundproofing in some rooms is weak: guests report hearing people walking on stairs or talking in the hallways. Noise from the third-floor café is also mentioned as an issue, where lively gatherings and karaoke sessions can be heard in the rooms below.

Many guests praise the mattresses and pillows, describing them as very soft and clean. The interior is described as modern, tropical, and highly aesthetic, making it "Instagrammable." However, there are complaints about fixture wear and tear: a leaking bidet sprayer, stained sinks, and rusty metal trash bins by the pool.

Opinions on cleanliness are mixed. Some guests find the rooms very clean and pleasant-smelling, while others complain about dust, cobwebs in corners, and stained bedsheets. In some cases, insects (such as centipedes) were spotted in the rooms or plunge pools. There was also a reported incident where a guest was charged a fine of IDR 100,000 for chocolate stains on the bed.

The air conditioners work well and provide sufficient cooling. However, the water heating system is inconsistent: guests report that shower water can be insufficiently hot or cold in the mornings. In some cottages, the jacuzzi water heater was also out of order.

Rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, electronic air fresheners, and a Smart TV with Netflix access. Standard rooms provide basic amenities, while cottages additionally feature a pantry and a living area.

There is no full-sized passenger elevator; only a small service lift is available. Accessing the third-floor restaurant or guest rooms requires using the stairs, which may be inconvenient for guests with reduced mobility or elderly visitors.

The cottages feature their own private plunge pools or oval jacuzzis, which guests highly appreciate for their aesthetic appeal. However, there are complaints regarding pool water cleanliness and the fact that the water heating function often does not work or operates improperly.

The hotel is suitable for families, and children enjoy the in-room plunge pools. However, parents caution about the spiral staircases, which can be hazardous for young children.

Overall, the atmosphere is very romantic, tranquil, and relaxing, making it ideal for "healing," honeymoons, or a peaceful retreat. However, lively events at the rooftop café may occasionally disrupt the quiet environment.
