Great food with an amazing view and ambience. Had the rendang sapi and it was very nice.

This is going to be my "to go" place when I want to enjoy my food or drinks with a view. Such a great set up. Drinks were good, food equally yummie, view was priceless.

Super, great view and friendly staff. If you like a quiet place near Yogya, this is it.

You pay very expensive for this kind of hotel. The place is also out of nowhere. I would prefer somewhere closer to city with better stars and international management. Never ever come to this place.

While staying just up the road at Villa Sare, we decided to venture out for dinner and stumbled upon the restaurant at Villa Bluesteps – what a fantastic find! The setting is absolutely charming, with a lovely garden that creates a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal under the stars, surrounded by lush greenery.
The menu offered a good selection, and we were particularly pleased with the decent vegetarian options available. The dishes we tried were flavorful and well-prepared, showing a nice balance of local flavors and international touches. It’s clear that the restaurant takes pride in catering to a variety of dietary preferences.
The combination of great food, a beautiful garden setting, and a relaxed vibe made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. If you’re staying nearby or even just passing through, I’d highly recommend stopping by Villa Bluesteps for a delightful dining experience.

Coming here just for eating and thats was sooo good! Located in bantul bangunjiwo thats I did't expected near there is so much villa and cafe. The view in afternoon is so good, the wind and air is fresh. The dish is so worth it. I recomended beef pizza. The flour not that thick and the beef is blend so much with moza and smoky. Ah! An also recomended chicken cordon bleu. Worth the price and have a lot of condiments and the sauce is so authentic iduno whats that but taste so delicious.
The staff is sociable and friendly. For waiting cooking is fast. (if not crowded)

I don't like it to write a negative review. But I also want other people to have a honest opinion about this place.
Positive things; the view from the terrace is cool, and the staff (although only 2 young lady's) are very friendly.
Negative experience; maybe a bit of our own mistake to order western food. But, pizza has an unbaked bottom from the fridge, and cheese was no cheese at all. Lasagne was acceptable but almost no taste. The desert was the worst I have ever seen. Ice with frozen pieces in it, and cream which was not whipped, and the ice was already half melted when arrived at our table. Due to lack of staff, also long waiting times. In the end, when looking at the Bill at home afterwards, we paid not only service charge but also 30k more as it should be (my fault not checking the Bill completely).
Overall, would not recommend to go here for western food. Its the baddest I have had, sorry.

I ordered a tempe cheese burger and it was not good. The tempe was too thick and dry, also seamed not even baked or fried, tasted more like raw. I would suggest slicing it in half and baking/frying it brown for better taste. There was also no sauce at all on the burger, only ketchup and mayonnaise on the side but I used that for my fries. The fries were a good portion but too oily. They were drenched in oil and this ruined the taste. Also they put a whole onion slice on the burger with all rings included and it was the onion that shouldn't be eaten raw so very spicy taste, hurt my stomach. You could take the soft onion for that, or soft red onion.
The grilled chicken salad was good only the dressing was weird. Very oily and with something inside that I identified as cheese? My wife took yummie wich she liked but the portion was too small. Congratulations on serving everything witnout plastic 👍🏻

We were very lucky to be able to stay at Villa Blue Steps. The location is magical oasis right in the center of rice fields. Everything is beautifully maintained and the staff have truly made our stay an outstanding experience. I would particularly like to thank Selie for her warm welcome and attention to detail. I look forward to returning and experiencing your exceptional hospitality again.

We went for dinner here while staying at an Airbnb close by. The staff were attentive and lovely and the food was delicious. Great range of western and local dishes. The beef rendang was amazing!
