The hotel was remodeled but it doesn’t change the fact that the hotel is still feel outdated. I. Booked the executive suite so I could gwr a balcony and bigger room. I checked in around 1pm and given room on the very top floor. From the moment I got to the room, I immediately saw all the flaws for the exception of the view. That’s the only great thing I noticed. The room looks very old which I could live with that for 2 mights. However, something that I would not tolerate is the dirty floor. Stain on sofas, dusts in every furniture, mold on the wall, stains on the wall, blood stain on the pillow case, which soon I found out that most rooms was used to accommodate patients from the hospital next door after they were discharged, and there are so many other things that won’t acceptable from hotel room. I stayed in so many different hotels, I must say by far this one is the worst one. They moved me 3 times. But I decided to check out and lost a the money since I booked through a third party. The breakfast was awful, the staff was great esp that helps. Other than that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone to stay here. Stick with a freanchise hotel where they have standard on cleanliness and other things. I hope they take this review seriously otherwise this hotel will not survive/
The walls, floors and windows are thin in this building and we could hear everything. This made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. We heard furniture dragging across the floor from the room upstairs, we could clearly hear the elevator engine every time it was in use, and there must be 20 different prayer towers and loudspeakers outside the windows blaring morning prayers at 4am.

I stayed at Grande Padjajaran Bogor and was really impressed by how comfortable and well-managed the hotel is. The location is perfect — close to the city center, restaurants, and main roads, yet still quiet enough to rest peacefully. The room was clean, spacious, and smelled fresh when I arrived. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the Wi-Fi worked smoothly the entire time.
The staff were polite and very helpful, always greeting guests with a smile. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of local and Western options — especially the pastries and fresh fruit. The lobby and restaurant areas were neat and well-maintained, giving a warm and professional vibe.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. Whether you’re here for business or a weekend trip, Grande Padjajaran Bogor is one of the best choices in the city. Definitely recommended and I’d be happy to stay here again!
