Hotel is located inside a resort area. The area is quiet and has a nice natural feel. Everything is very spread out though and you will either have to walk a lot or get transportation or some type. Hotel would not let us check in early (30 minutes) even though the place was practically empty. The overall facilities are dated and upkeep is lagging. Room (219) is large but dated as well. Bedding had stains but smelled fresh. Bathroom was a bit cramped. Hot water took a while but the pressure was good. AC worked well. One of few places in Indonesia that had a hair dryer. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well enough to stream video at 1080. Overall it's a nice area but things are too spread apart.
We stayed at the deluxe room for 1 night. The hairdryer didnt work, the TV had a rather poor signal, but overall the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was OK, too bad there wasn’t an indoor room/non-smoking so we had to tolerate many other patrons who were smoking for breakfast. We loved the service here, everyone was friendly and quick to response. When we stayed they have live music which didnt bother us because the choice of songs were OK haha.
We went to other areas of this resort like the deck view and concluded that if very well maintained by management, it would be a really great place to visit, because it already is, just needed a lot of care and attention.

After a few years ago, finally got here again, somehow everything was just OK, but some details need to be more well maintained.
Room was clean and complete, but shower room there was problem with the floor slope, so the water couldn't drain well, the soap tray was falling down.
If you need a quite and fresh air, JVR can be a choice.
There were only few guests, so the buffet breakfast was replaced with a la cartè dish.
The service was just OK, most of the staff were friendly.
