I have stayed at Blackbird twice and always chose Residence 1 with Jacuzzi. Both stays were pleasant and comfortable, especially for a small family, as the unit has two bedrooms, even though only one bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom uses a bathroom located outside the room.
I would definitely recommend staying in this room type and we will surely come back again in the future. As a suggestion, it would be good to always provide a laundry bag in each room, as during our last stay we had to request it from the receptionist to be delivered to the room. Also, it would be more convenient if the soap and shampoo dispensers were placed inside the shower area rather than near the toilet or washbasin, so they are easier to reach while showering.
We would be very happy if Blackbird could add more Residence units with three bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms — just a little wish 😊
I stayed here because they have a hot spring onsen–style soaking pool, and it was amazing. The weather was cloudy and rainy when I arrived, so the atmosphere felt very calm and peaceful.
The room has a minimalist and industrial theme, and all the facilities worked perfectly. I tried the onsen at night and had a great experience.
Breakfast was tasty with lots of options, and the picnic-style dining area was really cozy.
Overall, I had a great stay and would gladly come back.

First time staying here with the kids. The service was amazing, the price is affordable, and having an onsen as a facility is a big plus. Just a small feedback for the Medium + Onsen room: it could be made more comfortable. The medium room feels a bit vintage 😄, especially because you have to walk through corridors that are not very comfortable. Next time, I’ll try the Drum room type.
