Mini Tiga Homestay

Very relaxed place to stay. It has the vibe of a hostel but with private rooms. The staff is very friendly and it has a great location, you can walk to the beach in a few minutes. They also offer tours. I highly recommend to combine the green valley and green canyon tour. It is a beautiful place and a great experience to swim and climb through and over the rocks. They also offer a few breakfast options, laundry service and there is free water/tea/coffee. Only downside is that there is no hot water to shower.

We had a wonderful stay here. The people are kind and the atmosphere is very joyful, especially in the evening (special mention to Del, the guitarist 😊). The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. It’s very very close to the waterfront. They offer lots of activities (we went surfing, visited the green canyon, and saw the national park — all that without any planning ahead)! The only negative was their towels which don’t really dry anything (soft but useless). After two nights, it felt like home.

Very cosy place to stay. I enjoyed the guitar music both nights. The place has nice sitting areas where you can socialize and chill. The breakfast was also good. This experience here was better than the previous 3-star hotels.

We had a really good stay at mini tiga. The staff really made the place. Hard workers and hard chillers. They keep moral high and are caring. We loved the tour through the Kampung, Green valley and Green canyon. Really worth it!
The surf lessons we had had the day after were also great. They are patient an qualified teachers.
In the evenings the guitar comes out and they make music and play lot of medleys. They almost know every song you propose :) Also, it’s a quiet place and silence is respected always around 10/11 pm. A really nice stay we have had, we recommend this to all an want to come back sometimes.

We stayed 2 nights in Mini Tiga Homestay. The location is great as it is next to the mainstreet and near to the beach. The staff is verry friendly and helpful.
If you go here you MUST go on a day tour with Dindin. He’s such a great tourguide! He took us with scooters (you can drive by yourself) to the rice fields, Green Valley and Green Canyon. This was “belachelijk mooi” as Dindin would it. He speaks almost perfectly Dutch and is also good in French. So it is a pleasure to go on a daytrip with him.

This place is amazing! Everyone is very accommodating and the location is perfect! Catherine is very kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here on my next visit.

Noisy. Play guitar until 10pm. Every night.
Your guests need quiet. Not noisy.
Can you manage that? Stupid manager.
Room has many mosquitoes.

The 8/10.4/5 on Tripadvisor is majorly misleading and is not a true reflection of the property. If you dig a bit deeper into the reviews you can see what I mean!
Unfortunately the fact this hotel is ranked 2/11 for the area is telling of the surroundings options and also food options and amenities and beach all off poor quality. The beach is not the white sand beach advertised online when googling pangdanrang.
The room was not clean with stains on sheets and flys trapped into the bathroom door and taped over. There was also large anounts damp in the bathroom.
We had booked. Longer stay but left after one night to the owners credit we were refunded for the nights we didn’t stay and the breakfast was passable.

Cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed for 3 nights in the basic room with fan and were cool throughout the nights. Towels provided. Free tea, coffee and water for refills. We completed the full day tour of the green valley and green canyon with Din Din and Kurnia, both were very good with explaining things and made safety their priority. The two places were adventure packed and entailed full days in the water, body rafting against strong currents and jumping in off high rocks. We had so much fun. The staff are quick with answering questions and the breakfast included in the Homestay price was great, option of toast with jam and eggs, fried noodles, fried rice and banana pancakes. Would recommend if travelling and wanting a budget friendly but relaxed atmosphere. The garden / outdoor space is very relaxing after a day of exploring.

Was in the vicinity in another, and I discovered it too late. There was only on beer, but is very nice and pleasant.
