Eventhough my thrill for driving on dangerous roads is there, but bringing my family to go on this trip to this place really will make you think twice to go again with your family. Roads are dangerous and even if you go with a supir (driver), its not worth risking your life to just get half of the hills that is blocking the view.
But since I arrived and checked in, what caught me was a message from the property that totally makes me freak out.
This was the message send to me :
Dear so & so (bleep out name),
Hello brother, We would like to inform you of some important things so that you can enjoy a pleasant stay. Our villa has a semi-outdoor concept, which means you will be closer to nature. Therefore, it is likely that you will encounter insects and wild animals such as cats.
For security and comfort, our villa is equipped with CCTV. However, if you want full privacy, we can switch off the CCTV at your request.
Please note that our villas are different from hotels in general. We strive to provide a unique and natural stay experience, but we cannot guarantee perfection like in a hotel. Therefore, we ask for your understanding that we do not accept complaints related to the things we have explained before.
If after considering this information you still want to continue booking, we will be very happy to welcome you. However, if you object to the condition of our villa, we will find a replacement guest first. If successful in getting a replacement guest, we will help process a full refund for you.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We hope you have an unforgettable stay at our villa.
So after just less than an hour checking in and not even coming to them for any complaints or issues, this seems odd. How would they know what to say and what not to say.
Firstly you have a cctv that is not pointing at the main door but pointing at your sliding door. Meaning you can place a camera in a hotel room after the main door? Seems to be the same concept. You are trying to catch a danger that is about to happen or you trying to peep into peoples privacy?
Then explains also about encountering wild animals and insects, yes its the nature, I do know this things will happen, but not in the room when you trying to sleep with the family. Your windows are not even properly sealed tight. Insects comes and go and sit on our food in the room. Hello insects outside still can understand, inside sitting on the food while watching tv, they like watching TV tgt with you.
Thirdly, yes not comparing close to what hotels standard has the slightest that this place lacks of is cleanliness, at least clean the place up with a broom the bare minimum, dead insects the moments we step in the room, I had to clear it myself?
Your pool that is infested with insects, how is my family going to have a relaxing dip to enjoy the scenery out there with also the cctv still pointing at the pool too.
So from this experience, what I can honestly say is, please please consider this choice, you want a place to relax and enjoy the scenery and greenery, but have your privacy invaded by the property itself and also sharing a bed with the insects and animals at night?
The price is also not cheap, more like a rip off. I would strongly not recommend this place unless they really have a consistentcy to clean the place up and keep up the high standard that the claimed they have been doing.
For food wise, hahahahahaa, order from them is like ordering from grab or gojek is better, but too bad they wont enter such a dangerous road and its too far really. So eat up the good air that is provided. :D.
Nevertheless, 2/10, dangerous and dissapointing.
Paid for 3 nights, just stayed one night and checked out the next day. Big dissapointment!
