I visited 2 Horison hotels this month in different locations. First one is in Sukabumi (a 3-star hotel, cmiiw) second one is this in Kertajati (a 4-star hotel, cause it has the word 'ultima' on the name, am I right? ).
But I can say the first one is much better. Here are some that can be improved despite it's being new hotel:
1. Room temperature seems difficult to control. I tried to set the temp into 30c but it kept going lower to 24.23.22. Ended up freezing in the room, got fever, and turned the aircon off.
2. The dining area for breakfast seems a bit dark. More sun light would be better I guess.
3. Food for breakfast didn't seem so tempting. Some tasted bad. But the room service food is delicious enough.
4. Sound of water from other room is so loud and disturbing.
Some good points for this hotels are:
1. Carpets for all rooms, makes the room feel comfy enough.
2. Room service menu has enough variants since there is no restaurants, food joints or anything that can be delivered from 7km radius.
3. Spacious parking lots. It's a bit dark in the night tho, so please be extra careful.
This hotel is only close with the airport but not other. It is quite difficult to find online drivers and expensive for food delivery because it is too far. The gym is very small like only for 2 person and the pool for adult is only 120cm 💔😭. The AC in breakfast corner is maybe not working. BUT, I do appreciate the staff here. They always try to do the best for us as guest as they could do nothing for it but their service is amazing. They always try to find solution for out problem. Good job for this hotel's staff. You guys deserve a promotion and extra bonus ❤️.
