Fitra Hotel Majalengka

Yes, the hotel has a spacious outdoor parking lot that accommodates approximately 20–40 vehicles. Guests are generally satisfied with the space, although they note that it can become fully occupied on weekends or late at night. It is also mentioned that the parking staff is very polite and assists effectively with vehicle placement.

Opinions about the staff are divided. Many guests praise the employees for being friendly, helpful, and efficient, particularly highlighting the front desk and security teams. On the other hand, there are complaints about certain front-office staff members being described as "indifferent" or "unfriendly." There have been instances of unprofessional behavior by security guards (such as ignoring guests caught in the rain) as well as dissatisfaction with a manager's unkempt appearance and lack of customer orientation.

A deposit is required upon check-in (a key deposit of IDR 50,000 is mentioned). Some guests have encountered unreasonable charges or payment demands: one guest was charged for a stain on a bedsheet, while another received a bill for IDR 300,000 for replacing a bathroom fixture that was already broken prior to their stay. There was also an incident where a guest was certain they did not break a glass, yet received a call after check-out demanding compensation for the damage.

The hotel offers a buffet breakfast. The selection is considered quite varied for a three-star property: the menu includes fried rice, noodles, omelets, sausages, chicken, various breads with jam, pastries, puddings, fruit, porridge, and beverages (coffee, tea, juice). While some guests consider the food excellent, others note that the main courses can occasionally be too salty or that the variety has decreased over time. During peak hours, lines may form or tables may be limited.

The hotel's Wi-Fi connection receives complaints from many guests. Users report that the internet is unstable, frequently disconnects, or shows no signal—particularly in certain rooms (such as room 109)—making remote work difficult. However, it is noted that the Wi-Fi connection on the Smart TVs works well.

Soundproofing in the hotel is considered poor. Guests complain that conversations in the hallway and noise from neighboring rooms are clearly audible indoors. Additionally, live music from the lobby carries into the rooms on Saturdays, which can disrupt those wishing to rest. Some visitors also mentioned noise from adjacent rooms continuing until morning.

Rooms are generally described as clean, spacious, and modern, featuring large 50-inch Smart TVs with access to YouTube and Netflix. However, there are complaints about wear and tear on certain items: yellowed shower curtains, dirty or discolored shower heads, and stained mugs. Technical issues have also been reported, including non-functioning TVs, doors that do not latch properly, and faulty water heaters.

The room air conditioners work well and keep the spaces cool, although some guests have noted an unpleasant odor from the AC units due to insufficient maintenance. The lobby area can get quite warm when fans or air conditioning are not running at full capacity. An issue was also reported regarding cigarette smoke odor entering non-smoking rooms through the bathroom ventilation.

Rooms are equipped with basic amenities: toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, cotton buds, a small comb, and slippers. Tea and coffee facilities, as well as complimentary bottled water, are provided. Hairdryers are not available in some rooms.

Yes, the hotel is very family-friendly. It features a large, comfortable playground that occupies a significant portion of the lobby, which children enjoy very much. However, some guests have noted that the play area can be dusty and requires more thorough cleaning and upkeep.

The hotel hosts live music performances on Saturdays. Guests mention that this creates a pleasant atmosphere, though the music can be quite loud for those staying in their rooms during the late evening (up until midnight).
