The Lodge Maribaya

Stopped by here during my visit to Bandung. This place is good to take pictures. The entrance fee of IDR 65000 includes free drinks, free 1 soft copy photo n bamboo sky. Each attraction needs to pay but we were just here for awhile to take the scenery photos. It was a good 30 minutes stop for photos.

The Lodge Maribaya is often described as a “theme park, ” but it’s actually more of a photo-taking attraction with scenic spots and beautiful mountain views. My kids enjoyed the activities there, but do take note that some attractions have height limits, so it’s good to check before visiting.
The place is not very suitable for elderly due to the uneven paths and stairs, but for families with kids, it can still be a fun outing. The surrounding nature and views are the highlight — peaceful, fresh, and great for pictures.
Overall, still a good experience and worth a visit for the mountain scenery and family photos.

To get your moneys worth and full experience, you should stay overnight. They offer different camping/ Glamping options. There are several attractions like bike zip lining, two types of swings, bamboo sky, foculiar train (down due to maintenance right now), hot air balloon (used by rails not floating in the air), and morning guided trekking/ hiking. You should walk the entire park for nice exercise and beautiful views. If you don’t want to pay for pictures, bring your own tripod! The only thing they could do better on are the flies that swarm you at the cafes. I recommend they provide fly deterrent sticks around the food tables. I would also bring snacks and light bites and arrive for check in on time. Due to it being rainy season, you want 2 days.

Its a tourist trap. All the activities are fun but solely for photo purpose. On top of that, soft copy pictures need to be paid. They do give free photo but only one picture soft copy out of all pose that you done. If you want the entire album in soft copy, they will charge 50, 000 per session. Such waste of time for tourist and staff for this. Should be the ticket person need to inform that visitors can take own pictures and not being cheated like this. When they are providing the photographer, I expected that we can retrieve all photos at least for 200, 000 in soft copy form. If you still want to go, do bring your own camera and friends.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities to enjoy. The air bicycle requires a minimum height of 120 cm. Kids ride for free.
If paying for each individual activities feels like a rip off, try staying overnight. If you’re staying overnight (for the price of IDR 150k+), the package includes one free ride on all attractions for two people. They also gave free lemons at the end of our stay. Super awesome!

We went for the park at maribaya and love every bit of it. The set up is very beautiful and greens. The entrance package for the tourists also quite reasonable and affordable.
We love it! The only thing that could be improved is to have an access for disabled. It is quite troublesome for the elderly or disabled to walk and enjoy the park when there are so many steps and stairs to climb up.
Another flaws is the timing for queueing to collect the photos. It took us for 40 mins and the chargeable photos were not printed with paper frame but came in soft copies. They should hv consider for a better momento to take home.
All in all, one of the top spot that shouldnt be missed when you are in Lembang, Bandung. 👍👍

The scenery is very beautiful at home lingering there good food is delicious suitable for relaxing a family.
