The hotel felt very old, dirty, and poorly maintained. The rooms were worn out, with tired furniture and a musty smell. I don’t think they ever change the bedsheet, pillow case and the blanket each time guest check out. Cleanliness was a big issue. The bathroom didn’t feel hygienic at all. The overall atmosphere was weary and unwelcoming, definitely in need of renovation. Would not recommend unless you have no other option. It was creepy too at night!

We recently stayed at Hotel Puteri Gunung in Lembang and would rate our overall experience a solid 4 out of 5. Here’s a quick summary of the highlights and things to improve:
Pros:
The location is excellent—just about 2 km from Lembang’s town square, right on the main road, making it very accessible.
It’s a classic-style property with individual cabin-like rooms arranged on terraces, which gives it a nostalgic, retreat-like vibe.
Perfect for those looking to escape the daily grind and get back to nature. The whole complex has expansive open spaces with lush trees and rows of signature mountain pines, creating a very fresh and scenic environment.
Staff hospitality reflects authentic Sundanese warmth, beautifully showcasing the culture of West Java.
Cons:
Being an older hotel, some outdoor areas and children’s play facilities appear a bit neglected and would really benefit from maintenance.
Large spider webs can be seen in many corners among the plants and trees along the walking paths—it’s easy for guests to accidentally brush against them if they’re not careful.
Certain corners of our room were dusty, suggesting the cleaning could be more thorough.
The in-room amenities feel almost complete, but adding a small stove or microwave would really increase its value for families.
The warm-water pool area is quite small (just about 3–4 m²), so guests wanting to soak often have to wait their turn.

This is an old hotel, some parts of the room have worn out but the room is quite spacious. The hotel area is quite big, a lot of trees, with a fresh ash, make it an ideal place for morning stroll. The terrain is a good for walking exercise.
The breakfast has a lot of choices, taste just average.
