Negla Beach Villa has a nice concept and the cottage itself is charming, but it feels quite dated and in need of some renovation.
The swimming pool did not look very clean during my stay, which was disappointing. The staff member I encountered seemed rather uninterested, which didn’t help the overall impression.
The bedding was loose on the mattress and didn’t feel properly fitted, which made it less comfortable.
Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but it didn’t meet my expectations, and I personally wouldn’t return.
They bring the breakfast in the morning, Its indonesian food, I have had better.

Best stay around Rancabuaya Beach: quiet, private, and genuinely restful—especially on weekdays when it feels like a villa to yourself. Short walk to the shoreline, photogenic grounds, a well-kept pool with just-right dimensions, and breakfast delivered to the room. Bungalow B is the pick for comfort and view.
Areas to improve: strengthen the toilet flush, touch up the small mold spot near the shower in the deluxe bathroom, and add a warmer hospitality touch at check-in. Tips: book directly with the Negla admin for the best rate, come on weekdays for maximum privacy, and confirm your bungalow placement for the optimal outlook. Strong value and an easy choice to return to on the next Rancabuaya trip.

I had a good experience at Negla Beach Villa. The location is great, very close to the beach, and you can even hear the sound of the waves from the room. They provide free breakfast, which is simple but enough, and also complimentary coffee and tea bags in the room. The room itself was nice and the AC worked well.
The only downside was the bathroom, which was not very clean.
Overall, for the price of around 460, 000 IDR per night, it’s a good place to stay if you want to relax by the beach.
