I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel in Garut. The hospitality is excellent, the staff are always smiling, helpful, and make you feel very welcome. The location is also great — it’s easy to reach, close to the city, and still feels peaceful with a nice atmosphere around.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, perfect for resting after exploring Garut. Overall, this hotel gives a warm and homey feeling, definitely one of the best options if you want a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Garut.

Totally recommended stay in Garut! Not that big but still spacious. They separated the bed room and living/bathroom into 2 floors, really homey-vibe! They serve self-service amenities, also got bakery on the first floor so you can grab a light bites to bring to the pretty rooftop with mountain view. Will definitely go back here for another stay when I come back to Garut 👍🏻

Strategically located with stunning mountain views all around. The room has a stylish industrial-modern design—clean, cozy, and beautifully done.
Lots of thoughtful house rules are in place to ensure guest comfort, so be sure to read them beforehand. Service was excellent, and the staff was kind and responsive. There's also a lift, which is super helpful for families.
⚠️ For those traveling with kids or elderly guests: the stairs are quite steep, so better to use the elevator.
Garut’s weather can change quickly—bring a jacket, umbrella, and hiking sandals so you can explore the area comfortably.

I had a pleasant stay at Mew Golden Clouds Hotel! The room isn’t large, but it’s thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable stay. The mezzanine design was unique and gave me a new experience. The room came with complete amenities and even had Netflix—perfect for relaxing. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. One of the highlights is the rooftop area, where you can enjoy a stunning 360-degree view of Garut, beautifully surrounded by mountains. One minor downside is the limited parking space, so valet service is required. Overall, a cozy and enjoyable place to stay in Garut!

At the first time comes from Jakarta; all single things area are awesome. We are cared for by the staff team with their sincere hospitality. The room is clean, with the scenery beautiful landscape view at the rooftop. Everything is good! must be back when we had a trip to Garut City.

Very modern and chic hotel. It’s surely compact but feels spacious.
I stayed at the superior queen room and it has a such cool mezanine room furnished with comfortable furniture. The room already has a desk for work, a sofa, netflix, 5g Wi-Fi (important for online worker like me), and lastly a very helpful customer service.
Would definitely love to comeback!

One of the best hotels in Garut for remote workers (WFH/WFC) like me! The room features a spacious work desk and a loft-style design, with the bed on the upper level separated from the lower area. The hotel also has a rooftop offering a stunning 360-degree view of Garut’s mountains. A true hidden gem that provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the capital city—definitely worth experiencing!

Very very very bad experience stay here…
From start booking, the hotel already contact me through WA for details information and at D-day in the morning chat again to reconfirm time arrival and check in process. After we arrived at the hotel at 9PM, surprisingly, the staff told us that the AC not working well and they will find another hotels for compensation which is impossible since its long weekend and all the hotels in Garut full booked. (And yeaah the staff know about it) …
We are paying not cheap for the room since its 1mio per night, but why you the hotels don’t prepare the room since the noon while they WA with me? Why? Why? Why?
Masa mau terima pendapatan nya tapi kamarnya ga diprepare? Kenapa ga dari siang dipastikan semua berfungsi dengan baik? Dan dari sore diperbaiki sebelum tamu datang.? Owner dan manager nya ga ada juga untuk handle complain hanya staff yang bisa menjawab alakadarnya…

Another things, the hotels also need to re-new the amenities, the towel already not in good condition. And in other part, knowing the hotel have very limited parking lot, there’s no person in charge to assist the parking.
Wondering why and where the get the good rating.
This is the first and last time stay here…and very very not recommended to stay here…

The Golden Clouds Hotel in Garut is absolutely amazing! The design is very compact and well thought out, making every space feel intentional. I’m especially in love with the mezzanine concept—it adds such a modern and cozy touch. Highly recommended for a stylish and comfortable stay!

My first Garut experience was great while staying in this hotel which is closed to the Center and the food street! The room was spacious and clean, staffs were friendly, helpful and kind :) one thing I could say is that the shower water pressure is not high enough but overall I recommend to stay at this hotel while in Garut for sightseeing or vacation!

The first impression when I came here was that it was luxurious, clean, fragrant and the staff were friendly. Then when I entered the room, I really liked the classic room design and interior. It's my first time in Garut and I feel super lucky to find this warm & cozy place. The building is unique, a pleasant receptionist plus a complete feature. Even they're really helpful with my luggage, too. Overall I love it so much and I'll surely come back here everytime I go to Garut. As it sounds, the service is above clouds (read : excellent) 🫶
