I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What really made my experience special was the exceptional service from Ms. Astrid. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and always went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you, Ms. Astrid, for your warm hospitality – you truly made our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

I stayed for a night at Clove Hotel in the Quad Room, and overall, it was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room itself was comfortable and clean, with an amazing view overlooking the hills — truly a highlight of the stay. Access to the hotel was also convenient and easy to find, which is always a plus.
However, there were several areas that could use improvement. The outdoor facilities and garden seemed neglected, which was a bit of a letdown considering the beautiful natural surroundings. Also the gym facilities, all of machines are broken.
For a 4-star hotel, the service felt lacking. Each guest only receives one small bottle of water, with no refill option — and extra bottles are charged at 20k each, which is rather steep compared to other hotels in the same class. Adding to the inconvenience, we experienced three x electricity blackouts during the night. It might be a good idea to bring your own water and perhaps a flashlight just in case.
Breakfast was also underwhelming. The menu lacked variety, especially in protein options, and leaned heavily toward carbohydrates. The dining area was somewhat disorganized, with dirty plates and a shortage of clean utensils, which made the experience feel a bit chaotic.
Overall, while there are some things to enjoy — particularly the room and view — there’s definitely room for improvement in service, facilities, and food. Hopefully, with some attention to these areas, Clove Hotel can live up to its 4-star potential.

Checking process is fast, even though we arrived very late. The staff is very friendly. Room is clean and good. The checking out process also so good, helpfull staff from @Cantika.

Good view, nice pool, but a lil bit looks like “kos-kosan” from outside.
For price that I got on weekend, I think can do better for all aspect, especially for cleanness room. But all the staff are polite, keep up the good work.

Overall this accomodation experience comes great with the value. Room size surprisingly larger than the expectation with a clean condition. Check out process also easy with a great helping from Mrs. Astri.

I travelled to clove hotel to celebrate wedding anniversary, I booked romantic dinner too.
Here are some reviews that might be able to make improvement to clove hotel.
I love the ambience of the hotel overall (swimming pool, lobby, restaurant)
I stayed at room 5515 the room quite big for 2+1 toddler, unfortunately the TV is making me uncomfortable with, it might shut down and volumed up by itself meanwhile my baby crying when it happen several times.
And also heard manyyy times of slamming door, no idea where's come from but it sounds like a huge bomb 😭 and you may got a heart attack, especially while my baby's sleeping so annoying.
Toilet is clean, but too dark if only have 1 little ceiling light.
The plusss point is Netflix 👍
I booked romantic dinner, set up table was nice, sari also helpful while taking care of us, but I was upset with the menu (western) I can say it failed. Steak was sooooo hard for me to chew : (more like rendang then steak. I think management should make more menu selection maybe indonesian menu or else. I also ordered cheese chicken wings, vegetable spring rolls and nasi goreng special from room service and it was good 👍
I also thank to Annisa FO for the room amenities arrangement.
And I thank to all the clove's staff for being so friendly and helpful, overall I wishing clove's hotel improving to meet guest satisfaction and excellent services.

Checkin around 2AM yet the receptionist still helpful, thankyou ka Yudi. Breakfast was okay, the pool is great and the view from our balcony are amazing. Ka Annisa who help us to process our check out also very friendly. Thank you clove garden. Will definitely come back.

I’m very happy stay here. The room very clean, the view is incredible. The staff is very polite especially Astrid and Sahar very accommodating us. Good job for clove hotel.

ROOMS.
Lots of defects, mould rubber sealant at bathroom, broken hinges for towel hanger behind door and towel rack at shower room. Slippery floor, it is good to have texture floor to avoid water splash from shower since it is not built with curtain/door. Instead, the shower run well with adjustable hot/cold water.
Wallpaper with spots, hair found on the floor when entering the room on first day checked in.
WHIRPOOL.
Been checked the whirpool will operate between 6 to 10am with hot water flow, however, it has no hot water at all and water terribly dirty, seems never been cleaned and filtered quite long time.
POOL, GYM AREA.
First day, notice unpleasant smell and have passed to one staff in charge at FB outlet near pool but did not seems eager to check even follow up.
BREAKFAST.
When cutting the chicken, it was red inside. I asked kitchen staff it was cooked since early morning and do not know to response when I asked how you measure the well-cooked. I ensure chicken is high risk and easy for food borne contamination. Toaster is broken, 6 slots only 1 work, did you guys checked the preparation before breakfast open? One of the lamp for waffle is off, none aware, waffle so hard to bite. I added 100k for additional breakfast but it seems not equal with breakfast experience. One staff approached and apologized but do not know whether the comments I have raised will be escalate nor feedback correction for the issues.

Warm welcome when I arrived and the check-in process by the reception staff, also helped in friendly way. Especially for Mrs. Astrid as GRO that I asked for some request through her. She really helpfull, It was nice to stay here as resort hotel that I didn't expect more. Thanks to all for the service.

Feeling good to stay here, it’s has good great view and has affordable price, it comes with small room which its fair.
The road to get there is narrow and not suit if you want to explore the downtown.
They have spacious parking lot but has small pool, it only can accommodate small number off people,
They have gym but only 3-4 equipments so not for you if you looking for do exercise there.
Personal experience, and quite subjective but I lost my wireless headset there, I figure it out it still connected while Im at lobby but couldn’t find it, all the staff kinda not really helpful in my opinion and eventually it disconnected from my phone and could find at all. Check the cctv but they don’t have at that time to cover that specific lobby area.

What a great stay here. This is my second time to spend the night at Clove Bandung. Thank you Mas Yudi & Astrid for the great hospitality. Loving the room, breakfast, ambiance & the environment. Love to come back real soon!
