I stayed at Ibis Styles Cikarang recently during a long weekend, as I was looking to check out some of the brand outlets nearby. The hotel is located in an industrial area, which makes sense for the location.
First impressions were a bit mixed; the building felt a little older, and the lobby had a somewhat gloomy feel to it. The pool and gym were pretty basic and on the smaller side, which might be something to consider if those amenities are important to you.
On the brighter side, I was pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade to a room with a balcony, which was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and pretty much what you'd expect from an Ibis chain hotel – consistent and comfortable. I also really appreciated having a water dispenser available; that's always a big plus for me.
However, I did notice a persistent smoke smell on the second floor hallway, even though I wasn't sure if it was a designated smoking floor or not. It was a bit off-putting when walking through.
The main draw for this hotel, in my opinion, is definitely the price. At around IDR 200, 000++, it's quite affordable for the area. While it's a budget-friendly option, I do think some updates could help it better compete with other independent hotels in the area. A few improvements here and there could really elevate the overall experience.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with amenities like air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a kettle, and complete toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to the city center, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, suitable for all tastes. Overall, the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely return on my next visit.

Visited Cikarang each year, getting tired of the same hotels and decided to find another place to call home for a few days or week. I did stay here a few days 2 years ago (2023) but decided to stay for a full week this time (2024).
The room is great and neat, all things inside the room are functioning perfectly.
The room service is excellent, they are quick to response and care to details (I leave sticky notes quiet often). The food is okay taste wise but creative enough to serve different type everyday, especially the local cuisine. Western food choice are limited. My favorite Pastry is red velvet cake, Im in love.
I appreciate them for letting me hosting a game night with my team without kicking us out, plus the kindness of most of the staff, especially Mas Danil / Daniel? and the other front desk officer is completely making me feel like home.
