Collection O 91071 Hotel Desa Wisata Tmii

Access to the hotel can be difficult, as vehicles cannot always drive directly to it due to its location inside TMII. A special access pass is required for vehicles with internal combustion engines. Guests suggest several ways to reach the property: taking the tourist train, walking, or waiting until the evening after 5:00 PM–6:00 PM, when access becomes easier.

Opinions regarding the staff are mixed. Some guests describe the team as very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. At the same time, others reported extremely negative experiences: one guest mentioned being evicted immediately after booking through an app due to a price discrepancy, without receiving a refund. Guests also note the absence of front desk staff late at night (around 11:00 PM), which makes it difficult to resolve issues with malfunctioning in-room amenities.

Breakfast is delivered directly to the room at around 8:00 AM. The standard meal includes rice with vegetables, an egg, and chicken, accompanied by krupuk, an orange, tea or coffee, and bottled water. Guests consider this meal option to be quite satisfactory.

The condition of the rooms draws many complaints: the hotel is dated, the furniture and amenities are not properly maintained, and extensive renovations are needed. Guests complain about unpleasant odors from towels and mini-fridges, plumbing issues such as out-of-order bathtubs, and bathroom doors that do not close properly. Some rooms have overly dim lighting, and the bed linen needs replacement.

The performance of the air conditioning is inconsistent. While guests in some Deluxe and Dormitory rooms note very cold and efficient AC, others have encountered serious issues. There have been instances where air conditioners were broken across several booked rooms (including Family Suites and Superior rooms), forcing six people to stay together in a single cramped room.

Deluxe Twin Bed rooms feature a bathtub, a full set of toiletries, a kettle, tea and coffee making facilities, and a very cold mini-fridge. Dormitory-style rooms are equipped with clothes drying racks. However, guests have noted the absence of hot water and televisions in certain rooms.

The hotel is well suited for families and large groups thanks to its bungalow-style accommodations. A single bungalow can consist of two separate rooms sharing a common terrace. Large barracks-style rooms are also available, offering 10 beds and two bathrooms (one with a standard sit-down toilet and the other with a traditional squat toilet), making the stay very budget-friendly on a per-person basis.

The hotel offers a very peaceful, tranquil atmosphere suitable for relaxing with family and children. There is a prayer room (musalla) located in the center of the cottages. The primary drawback of the grounds is the large number of mosquitoes.
