Second time in batukaras but didn’t stay at Java cove this time — but we had breakfast and after surf drinks there every day. Great restaurant and bar area and very friendly local staff.

We absolutely LOVE the staff here. They are very sweet & accommodating. We stayed here twice & both times we were treated exceptionally well. A special shoutout to Ainun & Elon who not only made our stay awesome but made us a special anniversary cake for our anniversary celebration. The beach is directly across the street with a nice little longboard break. We recommend avoiding the weekends here as it gets very crowded with local weekenders but Monday-Thursday is very peaceful & relaxing. Not ce bar & restaurant at hotel but after several meals there you will get very bored & need to venture out to other places to eat! For seafood lovers the choices are abundant but choose carefully so you don't get the Bali Belly!

This was my third stay at Java Cove. The staff are all amazing and go above and beyond to help guests — Ainon, Iman, Elon, Bayu, Nindi (I have missed some names too). The hotel is in the perfect location and the food is delicious. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to BK.
