A family staycation and booked two rooms. One of the rooms unfortunately had no outside view. But overall the rooms were clean and well maintained with good facilities. There was a minor accident, a lamp fall in front of the room.
The breakfast was good and the location is great, very close to PVJ Mal.
However, we were disappointed because there was no prior notice on Agoda that the swimming pool would be closed due to Olympic event. We choose this hotel because of its pool, so finding out only after arrival was really frustrating.
Overall, a pleasant stay but the lack of information about the pool affected our experience.

Disappointing experience — would not recommend, especially for families.
Stayed here twice and both times the pool was closed — once due to a private birthday event, and another due to maintenance. We were traveling with kids and the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this place. There was no prior notice or apology.
When we arrived at 2 PM for check-in (as stated), our room wasn’t ready until 3 PM. The room itself was not clean, with a smelly bathroom. We tried calling room service and no one answered.
There were only 2 pillows in the room, which is below hotel standard — usually, you’d expect at least 4. Asked to borrow a spoon and bowl, and they charged Rp25, 000. Honestly, shocking — basic courtesy items should not come with extra charges.
Meanwhile, what should be included (like a functioning pool and timely check-in) is just… not there. Feels like they don’t care about guest experience at all. For the price, this is not worth it.
Think twice (or more) before booking this hotel.
It’s not family-friendly, not service-minded, and definitely not worth the money.

De Java Hotel is just across the street from Pavis Van Java Mall. Making it a perfect location for stay. On the side of the hotel there is Indomaret and Family Mart.
The hotel staff was friendly, they help park our car when there is no any available spot. Because the parking lot is quite small, only five car on the ground floor in front of lobby and maybe around 20 cars or less at basement.
The hotel was classic styled, nicely decorated with carpet floor. There is a lot of comfy sitting area for quest every where. The restaurant look always busy.
We had enjoyed our stay for two nights, the room has connecting door and can add extra bed too. The pool and gym are located on 6th floor. The downside is because it's located on the main street, a loud car or bike sounds can be still heared in the room. But the location and prices is just perfect for our stay.
