Hotel Rumah Gaharu

The hotel has on-site parking, though the number of parking spaces is very limited. Nonetheless, 24-hour security is provided to ensure safety.

Guest reviews regarding the staff are mixed. Many praise the team, particularly the security and front desk staff, for their friendliness, responsiveness, and assistance with early check-ins. On the other hand, some guests reported unprofessional behavior, noting instances of rudeness, a lack of apologies during a power outage, and refusal of refunds. There was also a case where a reserved Loft room was reassigned to another guest without prior notice.

Rooms are equipped with towels, toothpaste, and liquid soap, although some guests noted that the soap bottles are quite small. Slippers are not provided. Guests also receive two complimentary bottles of Le Minerale drinking water. Some rooms feature TVs with YouTube access, but Netflix support may not be available.

Guests generally rate the cleanliness of the rooms and bed linens positively, noting a pleasant scent and comfortable mattresses. However, some pointed out that the pillows are very thin and that greater attention should be paid to mattress cleanliness. The furniture is minimalist: there are no wardrobes, only small shelves for personal belongings. It was also noted that one room experienced a leak during rainfall, but the management promptly provided a room change.

The air conditioning units function well and keep the rooms cool. The hot water system operates reliably, with some guests even using the water heater to prepare coffee. Feedback regarding the Wi-Fi is mixed: the connection is weak in some rooms, requiring staff to assist with connectivity in person.

The hotel features an elevator that is well-maintained and clean. On the fourth floor, there is a gazebo offering pleasant views, as well as a shared pantry with a refrigerator and a water dispenser for complimentary refills. A rooftop relaxation area is also available. However, some guests encountered an issue when attempting to use the microwave at reception, as staff informed them it belongs to the owner and is not available for guest use.
