The Papandayan

Luxurious hotel in town, all room have bathtub, perfect for a warm bubble bath to relieve the body after works or long trips. The room is spacious as well, clean, and comfy. The surprise element is actually they have a garden, which is rare to be seen in any hotel. Even the pool is also beautiful and secluded. Overall the experience is excellent and beyond my expectations, really love to come back and explore the facilities more.

We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel staff, the entertainment, the room, the meal, everything was great and amazing! Our room was presented with a beautiful atmosphere. My kid was very happy and refused to go home😂 thank you Papandayan, for your great service.
Surely we will back to this hotel whenever we go to Bandung.

Very good, beds are actually confortable and im not the type of person who can sleep at every bed, very nice food, room is cleaner than most hotels, not a speck of dust at the bed edges. Pool is clean and warm and also good hospitality. Overall would recommend and would come back.

Such a great experience staying at this hotel. The service is fast and excellent. Especially during breakfast time, the service is excellent, quick n very helpful. A lot of activities in kids club. Warm water pool and clean. Room is bright n clean. Eventhough in the middle of city, the atmosphere is like in the jungle with many Trees and fountain.
Food is great n lots of variety.
The hotel its in the middle of city close to shopping area, many restaurants nearby, etc.
Definitely will be coming back again. Such a great experience.

The rooms are very comfortable, they're clean and spacious and the AC is cold. The smart TV includes netflix and other streaming platforms. Swimming pool was great, the pool is quite large and the water was warm. There are many facilities and activities in this hotel as well.

We recently stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. Booked interconnecting rooms as we had many kids in tow. The rooms were large and very comfortable for our family. Daily change of towels and toiletries were very welcome, and the daily replenishment of water and snacks adds to the comfort of the room. Housekeeping was also top-notch. However, we did find the rooms to be a bit cold, even with the A/C turned to off.
Pool was great and we loved the warm water.
As for the breakfast buffet, I think the menu could be improved slightly. There were not so much protein-based choices (which is a minus for me since I am on a high-protein diet). I understand the need to serve the food (due to hygiene reasons), but it can be a bit tedious to communicate our exact choices to the food serving staff. The busboys were very helpful though.
Please note that the weekend breakfast buffet menu has more choices than the regular weekday menu.
We had to do an early check out for the panoramic train ride, but the hotel was very accomodating to pack our breakfast that we had already paid for.
In summary, The Papandayan Hotel is a very good and comfortable hotel. Location is away from the busy areas, but still quite central in Bandung. Stay here if you want some peace and quiet, as well as for good lodgings. We might come here again on our next visit.

We stay for 1 night. New experience to stay here. So, the room, amenities, facilities, food taste was good! Exept 1. The service at the resto while we breakfast was quite bad for 5 stars hotel. The staff is very indifferent with customers situation, for example we are family of 2 kids and no staff is offered a baby chair, and also no staff on food station. Small things, but can make uncomfortable.

This hotel is located on the main road, close to several famous culinary delights, easy to find too. The check-in and check-out process is fast, no deposit is required. The room is spacious, covered with carpet, so it feels warmer. We stayed in a classic king room. Some of the facilities in the room include bathrobes, hairdryer, safe deposit box, refrigerator, water heater kettle, and coffee, 4 bottles of mineral water per day, sugar, tea and coffee. The bathroom has bathtub and hot water facilities. The bathfoam for bathtub is also provided. What I like most about this hotel is the warm water swimming pool, it's big and the water is warm… it feels very comfortable to spend more time in the pool. Breakfast has many choices, and it tastes delicious. Of course I will come here again while on holiday in Bandung.

We were there shortly at the end of September.
The hotel has a very nice breakfast buffet (most of our other accommodations worked with a limited menu). Staff was very friendly, rooms were large and clean. There's a nice swimming pool, and it's located in the center.
I had an unfortunate accident on an excursion; the staff took great care of me and drove me to a nearby recommended hospital. They waited till the entire checkout was done. Very much appreciated!

It was a very fun and great experience!, the food was delicious and has a variety of foods to choose from.
Though I must say, the most memorable thing from my trip was the pool as it was very fun and the water temperature wasn't too cold! But it is a shame that I couldn't try out the jacuzzi since it's not on the weekends, but if I do stay here again i'll be sure to try it out!
The staff there was also very nice abd inviting, as well as very helpful whenever I asked them about stuff I needed to know in the hotel. Would definetly recommend this hotel!

For the customer service, I am very, very satisfied. The facilities are excellent and super luxurious at a fairly affordable price, and the cleanliness is well maintained. All the crew here are very friendly and kind, almost every time I pass by a crew or staff member, they greet me. I will definitely come back to stay here on my next trip.

The Papandayan is my favourite 5 star hotel in Bandung. It’s a luxurious and classic hotel. The atmosphere was amazing, staff were friendly, specially Lusi Susanti, she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Everyone was so helpful, doing extra miles to help guests feel comfortable being away from home. The Papandayan has the best heated swimming pool on the top floor. I have to say, every time we stayed, the service and facilities were always improved. I would recommend the Papandayan to friends and families.

My stay was truly exceptional!
The staff were very quick and attentive, especially when I wasn’t feeling well. They kindly sent a thermometer to my room and even helped deliver my online food order directly to my door. Such thoughtful gestures made me feel cared for and safe away from home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service went far beyond my expectations. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

In general, the staff were friendly and warm. Especially Mas Gugum at the pogo restaurant: he treated us so well during our candle night dinner. Good job, Mas.
But, the worst and rude thing happened. The second day, as we put our room in DND, we ask for additional water bottles through phone and we wait more than 15 minutes but it never came. We thought it would not happen again. The next day, we ask again for additional water bottles and we WAITED MORE THAN AN HOUR until the check out time. No water and no confirmation for us. We do not know what actually happened. If we can’t get more water bottles, JUST TALK & LET US KNOW! Especially if we need to pay for them. Later, no one dare to speak at the front desk. Extremely rude.
Be better please.

Last minute booked room the day before we fly back to Singapore.
The front counter staff on 30/7/25 late morning, she is super incredibly kind and assisted in my request. Was requesting for a simple deco for my hubby’s birthday. And she help to put 2 single bed side by side.
Turns out the deco is stunning and generous!
A bouquet of fresh red roses and birthday card with my hubby’s name printed on.
The room quite big and clean. Just tat a bit sad for mini bars🤣 not much snacks and drinks.

Great Service & Comfortable Stay.
The staff were all very polite, helpful, and professional across every department. My room was clean and comfortable – a bit old, but still pleasant. Overall, I had a very good experience and would recommend this hotel for its excellent service and warm hospitality.
Breakfast was great too with alot of options. There's a free horse ride too. Near a few restaurants, cafe & marts.
They also give chips everyday, make sure have your room clean everyday to get it.
